Method in their madness?
I think that Jagex was going to move the party anyway when they were gonna update seers. Falador is a good place for it as it has plenty of spare room. If it's in fally anyway, you get the option to make the party hall f2p. Since the party hall isn't really a membership attracting feature anyway and that it stops scamming by use of drop parties, makes it a good idea of making it f2p.

New prayers from King Ransom (pictures)
That is very scary. Some quick extrapolation of that 38% strength boost in the tip.it max hit calculator now bring the max hit for the dd spec at a very scary 45x2 damage! So a dds spec is as powerfull as the dark bow spec, at only 25% spec bar and costing 50k...(of course, the damage is probably of by 1-2 damage points) Still, if those new prayers are stackable with the old strength boosting ones, melee just got a hefty boost in wildy. Poor rangers and especially poor mages! That 40% def boost along with the attack and strength boots will give dragon hide wielding melee'ers serious power over mages. So, this has to mean that magic is going to get updates in the near future to balance things out. Time to start training magic! :P

Silver Mines
Dorgushun is fastest. You only need to complete the first part of RFD to activate the basement chest bank. Dorgushun is probably faster than crafting guild + skill necklaces, since it has much more silver rocks and you will never have to wait for a respawn.

updated this is even worse please help
You can simply buy those items from other players. Otherwise you can try to get them yourself. But i suggest that you buy them from other players.

Dark bow or Mage Short?
MSB no doubt. I used both and the msb wins easily exp wise. Only use the dark bow for the spec. if you want the ranged bonus, just use a rune xbow. The dark bow is just too slow, more than 2 times slower than the msb.

Unbalanced Combat Skills?
Balanced in what way? Training time? player vs player? money wise? Monster killing speed? Since each three combat classes are so different i can only say that each is unbalanced. Just posting max hits is useless and provides no information what so ever. You should look at damage in time and ability to KO. Compare that the difficulty in training and cost of using and you can start looking at the three different classes.

lvl 3 with 99 slayer...
If you've ever fished at Shilo, you'd know that it is indeed possible to complete the quest with a level 3, as there are some skillers fishing from time to time. Since you got to beat 3 lvl 70-90 monsters how is that possible? if you can defeat thousands of monsters to get lvl 99 slayer, then surely you can kill a couple of quest monsters. Just a combination of recoils, a friend helping with food and a whole lot of luck.

range from 62-75+ fastest exp
Sell the 5k mith arrows and seercull bow. Buy iron knives and use those for training on all low def monsters such as fire giants. Also, boots of lightness and str ammy don't boost ranged. get a power or glory ammy and some snakeskin boots.

Fastest way to mine gold ore?
This is the best way, better than arzanian.

Macros 1, Jagex 0
What i don't understand is that it should be pretty easy for jagex to identify macros and gold farmers. Design a script that highlights every account with only one skill really raised. Then detect the movement and action patterns of those accounts. If they are too repetitive, let a human (jagex) mod make a comment towards the accounts. If the don't reply, give them a warning. The second time it is an automatic ban. Gold farmers are more tricky to detect, but i feel that every account with only 1 skill raised should be under suspicion.

Red dragons
red dragons can only be found in wildy or the brimhaven dungeon. try the dungeon, but you will be bothered by wild dogs.

how long it take to get 10,866 bones
IF you are lvl4 don't go to the boneyard in wildy. the skeletons will slaughter you there. Chaos altar in wildy could be good, but it is a popular pk place, so be careful. The chicken farms seem to best places. Kill the chickens yourself or just pick up all the bones left by other players. EDIT: before i forget, some quests give prayer exp, such as that ghost quest.

A few quick slayer tips
I just got assinged trolls and killed about 50. I used 12 monks (~3.6k) and 2/3 restore pot (~1k) while doing so. I got 2k in coins and several herb and watermelon seeds and herbs. I easily make a profit from killing them amd that is without getting the rarer ranarr seed drops. Tuna potatos are great food, but slow to make. You need a lot of different ingredients and be careful not to eat them while making the potatoes. As in real life: time = money, that means that tuna potatoes is very expensive food! If i were you, sell the tuna potatoes and buy monks from it. ;) Ok, i see you point now. You say that it is a waste of food if you have to eat just to make room in your invent to pick up a good drop. I read it differently :) I see your point. But don't you think that if you get hit so hard by only 5 monsters, it would be wiser just to skip the assignment completely? Oh, the daganoths at waterbirth island are single combat. ;) Does is save money to use your house? You either need runes or a house teletab to get there, both cost money. Games necklaces are worth about 1k-2k. That's cheaper teleportation than house teleports. Combat bracelets provide free teleports. Both methods are cheaper and are nearly or just as fast as using your house. Look, I believe that you misunderstood my reply to your tips. I fully agree with you on each point I didn't address in my first post and i think i should have said that too. However, I don't fully agree with your other tips and thus i replied to them. I'm not trying flame you or tear down your topic. I have some slayer experience myself and I gave you some constructive criticism, imo some things you can do better than you do now. :)

A few quick slayer tips
1. check out the monster in the bestiary first. if the drops cant cover the price of the food used, dont slay it. it wont be worth the time or money. cash isn't everything, often exp is more important 3. bring food according to the drops of the monster. if the monster has good drops, bring a few rows of food to cover the drops, if it does not have any good drops, bring all food. bring sufficient food to effectively finish your assignment in the least amount of trips 4. Move your house to taverly. this will allow you use one telly and put you near the hero guild where you can recharge glories, near th altar of guthix to recharge prayer, near turael so you can burthrope the bad assignments, and there are 2 banks close by, rouges den and warriors guild or just use a combat bracelet or gaming necklace ;) 7. Used the highest healing food you can get your hands on. the better the food, the less you have to bring. that's contradicting your statement 3. Anyway, i disagree. Sharks are just too expensive to use effectively on most slayer monsters. Lobbies or monks are fine and much cheaper. 9. train a certain fighting style. dont switch between fighting styles on a task. stick with one. i went from 72-75 def in only 4 tasks, the exp adds up quick. doesn't really matter now, does it? Exp is exp 10. dont kill jungle horrors or trolls, they hit harder than most monsters and the drops dont cover food usage. not true!! trolls are great exp and with decent def (70) they rarely hit you. Even jungle horrors are ok 11. Bloodvelds should be ranged. there are good safe spots and when combined with the accumulator, your arrows/bolts/darts/whatever are used at a slower rate and you can stay longer. melee is good too. wear dragonhides or karils. melee kills much faster. 13. go to the slayer master thats right for you. when you use the gem it will show which master you should use, so use it. sure you might get easier tasks, but in the long run, you will get slower exp. the longer the task, the better opportunity you have to get good drops, ive gotten 3 clues since i started, as well as a brine saber from brine rats, but it took till the 100th monster to get them. chaeldar can be a pain in the rear sometimes when she just keeps giving turoth and kurask tasks. that makes me go back to vanaka from time to time. 17. make sure the monster isnt poisonous/agreesive. those are important things to check, the monster might be level 40, but if its agressive or poisonous, you could have problems on your hands, consult the bestiary, its helpful aggressiveness isn't that important, poison can be annoying 19. pots arent nessecary, they take up space. i have not used a pot yet i always use pots. drag batlle exp spec + restore pot is a great strength boost. possibly follow it up with a sip of attack/super attack pot. Killing goes a lot faster with pots and always worth it

Why use iron knives?
Iron knives are cheap and still pretty effective, that is why. Sure, better material knives make for faster training, but are also a lot more expensive. For instance mithril bars sell for about 1.5k now. Each bar gives you 5 knives, so i would expect the price for 1 knife to be about 300 gp.

(Ranging Question) 87 + Range
LOL - If that was the case, I think a lot more people would have 99 range. I HIGHLY doubt that's true. ... It's possible, just very expensive ;) I dislike fire giants. Not because they are bad training, but because everyone thinks they are so great. That means they're crowded, always. And that slows down training considerably. Basically, train on anything with high hp and low def, like lesser, greater or black demons. Hellhounds, all kinds of giants and some slayer monsters like bloodvelds and dust devils are also great.

65 Slayer and Dust Devils and Bones>Peaches? Need Advice.
i think you can't use those tabs until you unlock the spell at the mage training arena.

Barrow routine change?
Most people seem to kill dharok first and then karil. Then something like verac and ahrim, finishing of with torag and guthan. This is basically the order of thread from the brothers, with dharok the most dangerous one and guthan/torag the least dangerous. Each dead brother increases the drain rate of your prayer. Therefore, first kill the brothers where you really need prayer, then kill the less dangerous ones. good luck :)

17 July 2007 - Pest Control update and Game Improvements
Maybe tought of the training the way it was originally ment: on monsters! You aren't supposed to get 126 cmb in 3 months trough pc, it should take years. Who the heck whats to play an on-line game for years just to hit the highest combat possible? Not me that's for sure. Well, Rs is about that. It's about achieving something hard and the feeling which brings that. What's the point of getting 126 combat? Indeed! Nothing besides the achievement itself and the respect you get with that, luckily with this update combat might be respected again. And yes, that can cost a lot of grinding, if you don't like it, the exit is to your right. How the heck is 126 a hugh achievement? There is tons of them what's the difference of I got or someone else did? None, a simple grats and that's it. Yes it is an achievement and you know it! Apparently you cannot get your much wanted 99 strength the easy way by pc, so you admit that is is an achievement to get it the real and harder way by fighting monsters. As you said yourself, you don't want to put in the effort to get 99 strength the non pc way. You only want to hit very high. If you want it, you need to work for it. Stop whining and get over it!

2 mage questions!
1. Yes. Weapon requirement is based on base lvl so you can't pot to wield/wear equipment. 2. Strength? You mean damage? So far god spells damage is only affected by 2 things: the god cape of the respective god spell, and the magic spell charge. Both of these will increase by 5 damage each. Hence for FoZ, wearing zammorak god cape and after casting charge would increase the max hit to 30, 25 without either one of them, 20 without both. 1: If you can't pot to wield a dragon weapon if our attack lvl is below 60, why would you lose the ability to wield it when your attack lvl is 60 and then temporary reduced by spell? That doesn't make sense. Either your current or natural attack lvl determines your ability to wield a weapon. If your naturel lvl is 60 you can wield dragon weapons. potting or attack lowering spells then only effect your chances to hit. Casting magic spells work differently. You can pot to cast a higher lvled spell, therefore you cannot cast some spells if your magic lvl is drained. So, in the case of magic, it's the current magic that determines which spells you can cast, not the naturel lvl. EDIT: nice reading on my part.... just as you said. :D 2: You can only cast god spells while wearing the corresponding cape. WIthout the cape, you can't cast. Without charge, the max damage is 20, with charge 30.
