  1. I support; neat stuff for higher levels; soul shards should be cheaper though :)
  2. well of course theres no glow; would you be able to high alch if i hit you with a snowball?
  3. This is how the real world functions ;) but i understand the downsides. thats why I made it a low percentage still open for suggestions
  4. I saw it too but didn't really worry about it
  5. I'm sorry but who would be proud for playing Runescape for the most hours. neat idea but no support
  6. not a big firemaker myself; but thats a great idea, 100% support
  7. I support; but not because I want it to be like real life. I do not support the tornado because that would be just inconveient. But the thunder storms, and wind would be really cool effects
  8. Good idea, as long as you can only mix 2 capes; any more and that'd be abusive. BTW you mispelled friend and foe with
  9. To answer some questions 1. The interest is not compounded. It is a fixed rate that you will recieve for your investment. simple interest. ie. deposit 100,000gp with mabye 2% will then provide 102,000gp or 2000gp profit 2. Items that will be repossesed will be gold, runes etc. The bank will not repossess items worth more then the loan your whips and party hats are safe : 3. You will be have a generous ammount of time to pay off the loan. 4. This does not make MTK obselete because the profits are not as substantial
  10. I support. This is simple but brilliant,
  11. Ladies and Gentlemen; Here is a concept I have come up with to further improve the updates to the Runescape banking system. this will enchance the current banking system and the Grand Exchange. My idea should be incorporated with every city bank in Runescape; but not in banks without tellers like: shanty's chest, culinromancers chest, and the any other bank that does not allow you to collect your Grand Exchanges. My idea is to incorporate more financial activities into Runescape; to help players obtain and organize money with less difficulty. My propesition is to add these two new functions to the Runescape banking system: Guarenteed Interest Accounts: are accounts that allows a player to take a certain ammount of money; exceeding 10,000gp and lock it away for 5-60 days. during those 5-40 days the player does not have the ability to touch that money. After the 5-40 day period expires the money is returned to the player; with Interest. I think the interest rates should rise as the volume of money locked away, and the period of time increases. :P Players can have up to four GIA accounts. I have not figured out interest rates yet, but I estimate they will be between 1%-10% depending on the size of the investment and the period of time it is locked away. THE INTEREST IS NOT COMPOUNDED. I think the GIA holding limit should be: Minimum = 10,000gp Maximum = 1,000,000gp Loan Accounts are accounts that allow a player to borrow a certain ammout of money from the bank; the money ammount I think should be anywhere from 1,000gp-1,000,000gp. The money will be due back within a established period of time determined by the player 1-10 days. 10% of the loan must be paid immediatly as well as an additional 5% transaction fee. The total ammount of the loan remaining (90%) must be paid back within the requested time period. If the loan is not paid back within the time limit the bank will reposssess items at their current Grand Exchange values until the debt is paid off The bank will not repossess items worth more then the loan (Phats and whips are safe) :D If the loan is paid back before the requested time the 5% transaction fee will be returned to the player; in gratitude for returning the loan, on time. Players can only have one loan account; and cannot activate a new one until the previous loan has been payed off. This is an example of what the Banking interface could look like: In the GIA accounts the small left box of each larger box represents the initial investment; the small right box of each larger box represents the investment size after the day limit. in the loan accounts the small left box found in the large box represents the ammount loaned; and the small right box found in the large box represents the ammount of the loan due. I am a proud supporter of the new Bank of Runescape, and I hope you will support my suggestion with the same enthusiasm.
  12. Tutorial Island is completly necessary; and there should be one designed for players transfering into P2P. The only exception should be if you are re-subscribing to members.
  13. To start off I am P2P I have mixed feelings on F2Pers; and these mixed feelings haven't changed since I began playing (2001 i think) F2Pers are generally decent players; that go about their business playing Runescape; trying to obtain the same goals as we members do. Yes I do have friends that are F2P and they are not scum or beggers. BUT sterotypes build up because of players that are stupid; annoying and lazy. I will say it right now I F***in hate players that beg for unrealistic things like free armor, weapons, runes, arrows and money. I hate players that ask to see your items; offer you false trades, ask for free stuff, ask meaningless questions and are too lazy to simply go and skill or kill stuff for money. every player has free and easy access to the Knowlege board or any guide on Runescape or Tipit. Runescape is not a difficult game to understand. The other problem members have with F2Pers is the stupid crying out for updates. unfortunatly not many of the criers seem to realize that they won't get updates unless you start paying Jagex monthly for them, and don't give me that bull about F2Pers paying because of the adverts thats bulls***; and well all know that. F2Pers though as I said are not all bad. I personally think any person who plays F2P and is active on TIF is obviously not the type of person I was previously refering too. The problem is sterotypes
  14. I; m sorry if this hurts your feelings but please think before you post. The ratio of players who skill (mine, fish, woodcut) to players who PK isn't even CLOSE! :x IF Jagex did that the players quiting Runescape would be so substantial it might of hurt the future of the game. How would you be able to PK without food from fishers, or cooks No arrows from woodcuters No runes or ores for armor and weapons from miners I think the ratio of skillers to PKers was 2000:1 This topic should be closed because of poor not thought about stupidity THINK BEFORE YOU POST
  15. Having level 60 Range i'm not expert but, i am knowlegable Range has six types for armor, not including barrows, spined, yak or blessed. Range has the acumulators and attractors to save on ammunition Range has seven different types of Bows. not including secrull, or dark Range has 11 types of crossbows Range has cannons Range also has chins, darts, knives, throwing axes and javelins Range is one of the easiest combat skills that you can create armor for Range if you consider everything it has access to is not really that far behind in updates compared to melee. The problem with Range is it has so many useless items that it seems like Jagex isn't doing. so what Jagex needs to do is rethink alot of the Range weapons and armor; make necessary inprovements and set it up so its more equipped to handle all players Range levels 1-99.
  16. Can anyone tell me the needed requirements to complete all the Quests I only need the required skills for the P2P quests. I've completed most of them, but I would like to know the skills needed to complete all other quests. If someone could just list the minimum skills needed to complete all the quests that would be awesome :D Basicly I'm asking to know what skills you need for The Quest CapeQuest Cape : Thanks
  17. OOOH good, i just sold my cat; and i looked at the guide and it said cat and i was like #-o thank you \
  18. For smoking kills do you need a cat or is it possible to do the quest with a kitten? :D Thank You
  19. Hunter and Firemaking I simply fail to see the pratical uses other then quests, mining helments and spotty capes
  20. Not bashing anyone here, espically not you because I doubt you created the images. but i doubt sailing is going to be a skill; anytime soon. Imagine the difficulty of creating a skill where everyone can have a boat. it could mess up quest requirements; make many things obselete and overall very difficult to train or develop. No I think sailing is fake.
  21. Thanks  I have some more thoughts: -Low level players in reality do nothing to help the economy; (I'm not a Newb basher) -The people who do influence the economy are the high and low level players in my sand clock description. -High and low level players is a bad choice of words (its collecters and spenders) (high and low just refers to the usual location of that type of player) -Collectors People who collect items; via mining, fishing and woodcut set the price because they have the product; and they say what their willing to sell for: -Spenders People who buy items; via buying and selling; also set the price because they dictate what they are willing to spend for the product - Sand which is the acronym for Supply & Demand The middle portion of the sand clock more influences supply and demand because they are the ones who transfer or change products around either quickly or slowly (the movers and shakers). Rembmer though this system is entirly reversable. If a high level player buys Sharks to level his cooking he is the top portion of the sand clock BUT if he decides to sell those cooked sharks; he is in the middle or bottom But I think you should apologize or reword what you stated. some of the things you stated may seem logical; but you should apologize for any misinterprations that were made (or clarify what you stated) #-o everyone makes mistakes, and you will be forgiven
  22. I understand completly what your saying; that the economy should function in a pyramid system and everything, but your just a tad wrong. a couple statements you made you should be careful with because they can hurt peoples feelings, but i'm not holding a grudge agasint you The runescape community is atchually shaped like a sand clock The top portion is made up of high level players; whom are working on skilling, and obtaining large ammount of money; to be used in the economy The middle is made up of both high and low level players who are obtaining product personally (raw material gathering) or through sales and converting it through skills to be sold and later reinvested (buying ore - selling bars) The bottom portion is made up of low level players; whom are working on obtaining product, and selling it to obtain money for some sort term goals (Quests, armor, weapons etc) The Runescape economy is shaped this way because it can be overturned to suit the opposite needs where The top portion is made up of low level players; whom are working on skilling, and obtaining money; to be used in the economy The middle is made up of both high and low level players who are obtaining product personally (raw material gathering) or through sales and converting it through skills to be sold and later reinvested (buying ore - selling bars) The bottom portion is made up of high level players; whom are working on obtaining product, and selling it Runescape cannot be a cycle economy (in your description of a cycle economy) because the Runescape population only grows; therefore it has to have an economic system that can be reveresed (a sand clock) Its NOBODIES fault except macroers and autoers The other advantage of having a large high level player basis; is it makes difficult to obtain items cheaper then if it were which it isn't a pyramid system. Hope that didn't hurt your feelings :
