Lets just say I'm in the lower 90's combat, and even tho I can take someone lvl 100 and down pretty easily, lvl 110 would own me :P Also i'm reluctant to tell my rsn because too many people would say crap like "0mg j00 c0uld n3v3r 4ff0rd b4rr0ws n33b lololol" or something because of my low noncombat stats -.- That it does, and I won't say which one I ment ;) I know this, but with the new spell you can wear your best armor/weapon the whole time, and not have to switch. Think about it this way, to all the people that complained about dieing when you get too low, think about this: gather all the bones of the enemies that you kill and cast the spell once you have a full inv, then you can heal when needed ;) so 1m worth of runes + all the magic exp you get vs. the 12m for guthan. B2P is such a waste of cash :roll:

Actually, I do. Much quicker for me just to melee them with Barrows, DDS and Whip than to spend ages trying to kill them with a Dragon Halberd. I use verac + whip and d square, hallies should be removed, if you melee, fight like a man :roll: You make a very valid point, and I'm sure that the really rich, lazy, afkers will still buy guthan, but I know people who will rc like 40k ess just to get guthan, so they are not considered rich or poor, but in the middle. This spell is very helpful for these people in particular.

personally I think that they are both useful, I was just trying to go against the set that everyone always sides against b4 they have even used it 8) :lol: @ t3h verac vs guthan thing: yesh, guthan is good for healing, but you fight me wearing guthan while I've got my verac, and if we are close stats I bet you'll lose 8) fights pits + verac = (L)

Simple! 1) make all 'velds in the slayer tower lvl 9999 with infinate hp and hits automatic 99s :twisted: 2) walk around in lumby feeding the noobs to my pets and giving the newbs 1m gp ea :D

I never said that you had to use rune...personally I use verac for the prayer boost, that with a d square and whip gives a much better def than full guthan does.

I used to play a lot, but now I hardly even get the chance to use the forums, let alone play the game :cry: How can you say someone doesn't have a life just because they play runescape a lot? Last time I checked, runescape was a MASS MULTIPLAYER rpg, which means there are other people to interact with...

kurask and dark beasts are like the only thing over 60 slayer that this would work forIf you haven't noticed, I'm not huge on killing slayer monsters ;) When killing the main slayer creatures (gargoyles, abyssals, ect) guthan is the only option, but what I mean is B2P vs. Guthan on just normal training(for exp) and not for drops. Don't forget that ANYONE can use the spell, (as long as they have 60 magic, which isn't hard to get) when getting 70 atk, str, and def would be a lot harder for a ranger/mage to get, especially if they were pure.

So its harder to spend 600k for runes and 1 hour casting the spell than to get 12m?

Ah, but what about if I use full torag (for the def) with a whip and d square? Much better def than full guthan and with a much better training weapon...

Well, I'm not sure if it counts, but I love making fake pics, its a great challenge and is the exact opposite from the whole "point-and-clickness" of everything else. But when I'm not making fakes I enjoy fight pits, games room, and randomly standing in the slayer tower, altho I'm not sure why...

When you are 90+ combat, I doubt you are burying bones when training combat. (And I don't mean when fighting something just for the bones, I mean like training on something like daggs)

Well, well, well. The 12m+ gp barrows set, Guthan, the set that gives an unlimited supply of food. The demand for this set has always been high, as it allows for unlimited time training at any spot. Then jagex relieced the bones to peaches spell. Now people have to ability to turn a whole inv of bones into 8 hp food. Of cource we could always of used bones to bananas, but its not a practical spell to use as each banana only heals 3. So does bones to peaches make guthan worthless? Lets look at the pros/cons: GUTHAN PROS -Can heal 20+ everytime, as you heal exactly what you hit -No inv space needed CONS -Healing is random -340k Recharge cost every 15 hours -Have to use unpoisoned spear as weapon BONES TO PEACHES PROS -You can choose when you heal -You can use any weapon to train -One cast can get a full inv of 8 hp healing food CONS -Only heals 8 per, altho this isn't that bad, its not exactly the best -Costs 2 nats per cast -Not all monsters drop bones Only works on normal bones (not confirmed) So now that you've heard the pros/cons of each one, what do you think? Discuss. (PS Don't accuse me of trying to make guthan cheaper, I can easily afford it.)
