Not willing to pay jagex for membership btw. I quit before it came out, could you give me a very simple explanation what it is and how being a pure could be useful? (Make it simple, I can always look up a guide for it if I'm confused.)

Well, I quit rs a while ago, before jagex went crazy with stopping RWTers. I used to occasionally create more characters just for stuff like pking. Well, I'm back for a while but don't feel like playing my old account, so I made a new one. I'm tempted to make a nice str pure, but without the wildy being fun anymore, is there any reason to anymore?

There is none, yet. A month or two back during the State Of Play news reports Jagex stated they were working on an update to random events. without gold farmers, anyone think they'll remove them? :pray:

Wow, that is really nice. Wish they would have kept the original style instead of switching to the generic WoW/GW UI though. I also wish full screen was f2p too. My new temp account is having plenty of fun in f2p and I have no intention of getting overwhelmed with all the new p2p items, but I want to use full screen.

Sounds kind of lame to me. Sure, I'm not a fan of the new "please-beg-me" option, and I don't support rule breakers either, but charging for something like this seems perfectly fair in my book. I wouldn't do it, but I probably would look the other way if I saw someone else doing it.

Anyone want to tell me exactly what the rewards for the new diary are, and the difference between them?

After playing this game for 5 years... this is by far the most original and interesting thought I have read. It's like a light bulb went off. This is why RSC was so great. Everyone was on the same playing field almost (i started in 2003 so ppl were still at lvl 100). It would be very interesting to see how it would play out. I would def. play that instead of the runescape we have. I have always had a competitive nature, and runescape today is losing that competitve nature and I have not been able to figure that out. Smithing at the moment is the only thing keeping me going since it is considered one of the "harder" skills. Excellent. I hate to bring WoW into this, I really do, but WoW has something like this. As you can't move characters freely from one server to the next, whenever they add a new server, everyone starts from 100% scratch. (You can't transfer characters from other servers onto new ones for 6 months) And yes, it is really fun. I wish rs had this, I would come back in a heartbeat.
