This is really pathitic, 99% of the people who signed didn't even know what the "old" special was :roll: NO! The "old" special of the whip and maul were EXACTLY the same special, just it had the bug to hit either max or zero ON HUMANS ONLY!!! AND ONLY DURING PKING AND DUELING! Pretty sad complaining about something that you have never ever even used :roll: Daggers, whips, and scims have the exact same speed...:roll: Which is incredibly obvious if you duel a lot, as I do. It always drained energy, and it is the most-used pking weapon both now and when it first came out. THATS who complained the most, the people who trained with whips didn't see a difference, but the pkers did. If we still had the "old" special (aka the glitch), then the whip would be in the 6-10m price range today.

Except for the fact that in your example the weaker armor is pathiticially easy to get while the stronger armor is rarer, where as in reality the weaker armor is much, much rarer. All true apart from the few hours at barrows thing... To get a full set of a certain armor may take some time... I said "with luck" as I know a guy who got full guthan (w/o spear) and full verac in 3 hours -.-

The lower your hp, the higher your max hit ;) So basicially as long as you are hurt you will still get a str bonus, not just at 15%

Hey Terley :D You see, the price is completely based on supply and demand. Someone could easily get a full barrows set in a few hours with some prayer pots, and some luck, yet to get full dragon, you either have to spend hundreds of hours at dust devils, or kill the kalphite queen a few hundred times, both of with are a lot harder and slower then barrows. Also full dragon is more of a status-thing, as having full drag makes you "so leet" (:roll:) Also adding to this is the repare costs, infact without them then I bet barrows prices would be at least 20% more, probably much higher. runecrafting: death runes (blood later) slayer: gran maul, whip, armoured boots, mistic. herblore: high lvl pots... fire making is more useless... I was being sarcastic :roll:

Yes, farming is worthless because it takes a long time to raise and the only good things that come from it are at high levels. Btw I bet runecrafting, herblore, and slayer are worthless as well, right? :roll:

She's jealous that I actually know how to make on-topic posts :roll: (also look at my post count and look at hers, then guess who the real spammer is ;)) Who are you to judge a weapons strength before it's released? How am I to judge its strength? There are patterns to the strength of 2h weapons, estimates have been made often on its strength and all of them have been the same guess by different people. Not to menton that even if it had a really awesome special (like max hit on monsters or something), the weapon would still be too slow and the special bar would recharge too slow. The best the new weapon could be used for would be to switch it out just for the special, but knowing jagex it will follow in the footsteps of the whip and maul and have another sucky special, and even if it has a good special worth switching out, no [non-barrows] 2h weapon is worth training with simply because of the attack speed. The maul was a 2 handed whip? Have you even ever used a maul or whip? They aren't similar at all, with the exception of the stats, as whip uses slash, is fast, and has a run-energy draining special, and maul is slow, uses crush, and has a instant attack special.

I hope it is the d2h, then when its selling for 20m I can happily ignore it and laugh at the fools who buy it and then continue train with my vastly superior whip ;)

You need to give the text a drop shadow, if you have the font downloaded you type it in black first, then type it in yellow and put it right on top of the black text, but then move it 1 pixel up, if you know what I mean ;)
