with the right special attack it could do miracles :wink: Yeah, for a few days, until Jagex ruins it. Granite Maul, Whip, Dragon Scimitar, all those weapons have had their specials wrecked for no good reason. Jagex just seems to dislike weapons having a decent special attack for some reason. Nope, the original special of the 'scim never worked, so jagex had to change it.

My guess: The windbeast is a monster that requires the breeding of a beast and a material monsters to be created and uses skills such as Infernos, Icebolt, and VacuSlash, and can be found in the ice kingdom. Altho a king/smoke demon also sounds good :lol:

Personally, I'm all for giving up a whole month for jagex to release a brand new quest, which requires all skills over 50 (yes, farming as well...), very long and with many different puzzles, special "random parts" which are different for every person (so "guide newbs" have to use their brain [gasp!]) with some incredibly excelent reward, like entrance to a new guild with some really good training monster with requires 70ish slayer to kill but is INCREDIBLY awesome exp per hour, and drops half shields and d meds (rarely, but still does) and also includes some really awesome shield which is buyable for a few million and requires at least 80 def to weild. Also make sure that the final challenge is a monster really hard to kill in which it would actually be a better use of prayer for the super-boosts instead of the protection prayers. Lets see all the high levels complain about that, shall we? :twisted:

they didnt sad it was a new dragon wapon... could be a monster that drops hallys often... or ddp 100%... THAT is a good point... it may just drop existing dragon items. When they introduced the other dragon weapons they always said "new dragon item" with the emphasis being on NEW. In this one they didn't say new... so indeed you could be quite right, this beast may just be another dchain dmed dropper... :shock: That would really suck, but now that I think about it, it does sound like some of jagex's "humor" :x Heh, I'll go on record predicting a "Storm Beast." No way that baby could be a kraken, they're sea based. Unless it's really deep wildy... ive fought every single barrows armour many, many times i think you think its stronger than it is And i think that they should make diamond armour because its the strongest substance known to man, it couldnt break Too bad barrows isn't known to man...;)

IMO its going to be either the pickaxe or some d weapon that no one is expecting (like a warhammer). Why do I think pick? Remember how we got the axe? Huge monster, multicombat, wilderness-equilivant danger associated with getting to the actual monster. My cash is on it being the pick, but if its not the pick then they will just make it a dragon weapon that no one is expecting. (more jagex humor :roll: Remember the weak mage glitch? They denied it forever then when they finally got annoyed enough they checked it and it was a glitch :lol: (they posted on the official forums saying it was fixed after they noticed it lol) Obviously the smithing table doesn't apply to Dragon items. If that would have been the case... the very first dragon item would have been the dagger. What he means about the smithing table is shop prices. Ie how d legs protect over chain, for example. Looks is part of it, but they main reason it costs so much is just because only the KQ and dds drops it, and she's so strong, and the drop rate from dds is so rare.

verac's flail requires 70 str to use.
