I don't think it'll affect bots at all! Knowing a bit about programming myself, I know all the person controlling the bots have to do is to get a sample of the new tree colour and paste it on the colour locater or the script. They can change this every week, no bother at all!
Maybe you can ask the necromancers (south of falador) summon one for you for a small amount of money? I know summoned dragons don't necessarily need to have bones. They can drop ashes instead. They can also drop an item ONLY obtainable by summoned dragons. It'll be like the 'rare' of F2P. I propose that the price be at least 10k.
Nice painting, i must say. HOWEVER, can you enlighten me as to what i'm supposed to do if i see this pure with 99 prayer and full invent of prayer pots doing that?
Maybe Jagex dosen't want it to be too inconvenient for players. Imagine having to alch, bank, alch, bank, alch, bank... You'd get sick of it too. And what happens to those who have millions of yew longs ready and set for 99 magic?
Players in runescape are not supposed to know how to merchant. Since somebody published the "RS millions guide", everybody is buying items cheap, causing unstable item prices.
First of all, this system will take months, even years to develop. Secondly, it'll take up a lot of server space. So unless you want your membership price to go up, don't go around suggesting suggestions that need a lot of server space. General store is a store, not an in-game forum where merchanters put their items up.
If yews are removed, bots will start mining coal ores. If coal rocks, too, are removed, they'll start killing hill giants for their bones, this list is endless. Even if non-member is removed, they'll all get membership.
It will certainly make prices of rares drop. However, the prices will soon rise again as the new dragon arrows and dark bow becomes less rare. Every time prices of rares drop, it's increase later will be higher than the original one. Keep it and sell it later.
