There are a bit of rotten apples playing this game, as we all already know. Scamming, macroing, cheating and other offensive activities appeal to them. They'd rather the get rich quick schemes than the slowly, but surely, money earners.

This rant is not even a well-thought one. Just another one-liner. You should at lease elaborate on your points or find evidence to support your inferences. Don't give one-liners. If possible, always provide suggestions or alternatives to the problem identified.

Nice find. I didn't notice it until now.

New and Improved censor!~33 Supporters~Will u make it 34?

Great Idea! Runescape certainly needs more humour, something to break the seriousness and monotony surrounding this game. :D -
Since when did a rant on the H'ween drop became a spammer's ground for debating current homosexual issues? Every one of the last few posts had a mention of 'gay' or 'homosexuals' in them. Please, don't go off-topic. Moving on, I think that the reason for the 'dark blue' colour is due to the fact that they match the void robes perfectly :D . Yes, you heard right, they match the void knight's robes perfectly. So go and get yourself around 500 PC points and get that robe to match your hood with! It looks awesome! Perhaps the hood is not to be matched with anything at all so that the other robe pieces could be dropped during the subsequent H'ween events. You know, JaGeX procrastinate :D

Guide to 60k construction xp per hour WITHOUT A BUTLER
drapit replied to henk333's topic in General Guides
Great guide! I wanted to praise you for the guide when i was 40 construction. I procrastinated until now, where I am currently at 62 con. That's 22 butler-less levels! I cannot imagine the money spent if i had engaged in the services of my butler then =). Yours is a truly 10/10 perfect guide! -
The FIRST yak guide. Read into for details.

Should there be a Guaranteed poll for the Christmas Event?
drapit replied to ThePie's topic in Questionnaires
A poll would be nice, seeing as many didn't like last year's reindeer hats. -
JaGeX lost it's sense of humour? I don't think so. The chicken suit was humourous, and so was the rubber chicken. It was fun pretending to be a chicken. I agree that there is a lot of immaturity going on in RS at the moment and that JaGeX might sometimes the more loyal customers, instead catering to the less mature, more populated group/community. Still, things worked out just fine didn't it? If you think yourself as a mature player, then you shouldn't be complaining every bit of what they do. By the way, i don't think its 'sence', its 'sense'. The way you provided your hypothesis, I can tell that you're a decade off maturity.

LOL. If everyone does that, I bet the scammer would learn to go straight faster than a threat of being banned =)

Monday Poll: What feature would you like Tip.It to release?
drapit replied to MPM's topic in General Discussion
Even if the market price guide is implemented, I doubt many of those using the Zybez RS client would refer to it since there is one lying conventionally beside the RS window (f you use SafeSwitch, that is). Still, I voted for the price guide since I don't really see the need in developing the others. If Tipit keeps their price guide updated enough, maybe it'll draw over the pro-zybezzers. :D -
what is it with high lvl npcs having higher def at red bar?
drapit replied to deathwalker's topic in Rants
maybe they want to cling on to their puny little lives just like most players? Blue dragons can't use protect items prayer you know, and i suppose they want very badly to protect their precious hides. -
And what if some sites have ALL the questions and the answers as well? You don't suppose the JaGeX would change the quess tions everyday do you? No, they'd set a set of questions, in German, or Deutsch, and then randomly pick 10 to ask... And about the E-mail req. for F2P, how would this improve the situation? You want F2P players to E-mail JaGeX in German telling them that they're genuine Germans? If I were JaGeX, I'd remove the whole F2P German world altogether. JaGeX is already spending enough on customer support as it is. No need for a bunch of people who don't pay to aggravate matters. It's not a big problem anyway. They're English players, so? Do they spoil the ambiance? Are they invading on German soil? You talk to fellow German speakers, they play without company. That's it. Problem solved. Period. No need for all these security measures which just, for a moment, made me think that this was a matter of national security... I suppose you saw English speaking noobs wielding the Union Jack parading in the Fally square of a German world didn't you?

Hey great idea. If i may suggest something, I'd think a 'hide' option would be good since its taking much of the game screen. -
I... support Great Idea and photos, too. I really pity you for the flame you're getting. People just don't understand how this would help. They keep thinking that some 10 year old is going to spam every second. I personally feel that this is a well thought out idea. If you can't fight the enemy, embrace it. Furthermore, people in W2 are using so much auto-talker that its so full of spam in the first place. Adding this would not deteriorate the situation, but improve it instead. Think about it, the auto-talkers people are using in W2 types a full length message and pushes 'enter' every 2-3 seconds while the in-game auto-talker only does this once every 8-10 seconds. PLUS one has to hit enter everytime he/she desires for the message to be 'entered'. A win-win situation it is. Jagex could still ban people using the 3rd-party auto-talker. People, naturally afraid of getting their accounts banned, would then turn to the auto-talker feature in the game instead, making less spam (2sec/msg VS 8sec/msg) and overall, making the community a better place :) .[/u]

It would certainly add to the element of surprise...

That would render the skill capes rather useless, don't you think. Even if it's once per level. The minor earthquake by the strength emote shouldn't take up more than one space, making it rather stupid. Obviously the agility emote is going to take a lot of space, having to construct the wall and all that. And I don't think Jag is going to do this.

I don't deny that it is a good idea/suggestion. However, I have a feeling that this will never be implemented as something like this takes years to develop and extra servers may have to be established. -
Great. Let's add a cow-hider in lumbridge who sells unlimited cowhides at the price you desire... NOT. If the price is reduced, what will the many low-levels do to earn their keep? What would become the next most profitable monster to train on after cows? I understand that an update like the one mentioned above will beefit the crafters, but won't it, on the other hand, encourage begging? The low-levels would be out of job and turn to begging or scamming instead. Therefore, crime rates go ^.

I agree. Very much. Ever heard of what happened during Hyperinflation in Germany during the Weimer govt's reign? People literally used banknotes to fuel the fire in their fireplaces, yes, the value of a bucket of banknotes is less than a gram of charcoal... Therefore, i conclude that JaGeX has finally regained their cleverness.

I cannot pretend that the ring of wealth had worked well enough for me. Let me tell of one of the unpleasant experience i had with my ring of wealth. I was a level 70+ at that time and i was training, killing lesser demons in the karamja dungeon with my ring on. At that time, the ring of wealth was rather popular with players and many wore it while they fought various monsters, in hope of getting some wonderful drops. After almost 3 hours of only coins and ashes for drops, i got fed up and decided to sell my ring to another player, standing beside me. What followed was an unbelievable stroke of luck. I got two simultaneous rune med drops and a lot of fire runes. From then on, i never believe in the abilities of the ring of wealth.

Less populated places are normally filled with less immature kids. Try it.
