you're assuming he wins.... I see him pk quite often and i have yet to see him get a kill. I've seen him get piled... but i have yet to see his blitz at level 3 wild then switch to melee actually result in killing someone. I ask for fights and I get 4-5 kills an hour... so yes, if there was a better way to get kills at our combat level i would most likely use that way... but considering people have a decent level of respect for me on world 65 i get quite a number of fights without people running or using ring of life.

I have never called anyone a safer... even if someone is safing i could care less because that just means they're going to go through their food faster and give me more opportunities to ko them. Maybe if you showed some others a level of respect it would be reciprocated to you... i understand your frustration, there are a lot of idiots who pk at our level. But if you don't provoke them they usually drop the subject and stay out of your way. But just because there are tools that pk at our level that doesn't mean you should assume everyone who pks at our level act like that, you might find that you enjoy pking much more if you didn't make people instantly dislike you.

Anywho.. 10/10 for he combined banks you're right... me NOT dying and him NOT killing me and him getting PILED somehow means i get owned? And how exactly do you figure he gets "free money" that way? NO ONE EVER STAYS TO FIGHT HIM BECAUSE OF HOW HE PKS.

i have nothing against people who do it. But considering bh is meant for pkers you'd think that they could tweak their system to actually benefit pkers instead of making it more beneficial for people to build potential and 26k trick.

you didn't understand what i was saying. if my opponent was risking 250k i MIGHT get 200k worth from him... usually at least a 3rd of that is in junk arrows like addy p++ and the times i would get 200k worth from a kill like that is if I haven't killed someone else for a good 45 minutes to an hour. I don't play this game to build potential and max my profits... i play it to enjoy the challenge that pvp actually is compared to clicking on a monster and waiting for it to die. i'm grateful that the drops i do get are worth enough for me to almost make up my costs, but if jagex is going to have a system like this what i'm saying is that they should at least somehow make it work for the true pkers out there instead of a glitchy system that randoms can abuse to make money.

if you play bh how you used to pk in the wildy at the mid/high level bracket you barely break even. I have a level 83 ranged tank and even if I kill a beserker pure who's items add up to around 250k (rouuuugh estimate) I usually get drops around 100k-120k. My average drop is around 150k if I don't find many people my level to fight. If I fight everyone my level I find most of my drops add up to only around 80k. That usually brings me to just short of breaking even considering i pk with rune knives, dragon bolts (e) and sea turtles and pray pots. But I pk for fun so i'm glad I at least come close to breaking even... it's just kind of annoying that people who are actually good at pking and pk often come away with less profit then people who just build up potential and kill one person. They should come up with some sort of progressive dp system. Where killing someone adds a small percentage to your overall drop potential and keeps building up until you die or something.

Sarcasm isn't appreciated. I understand that you believe I RWt'ed because Jagex banned me for it, and like I said, I don't blame you for it. I'm asking the questions simply to understand a bit more. I would have no intention to even consider trying to bring an end to Runescape, unless the day I quit, my account was still banned. So basically, since they have don't have evidence of a RWT, they'd be forced to un-ban me, and others that were banned purely due to unbalanced trades. Oh, I was more making of a point of the "sue Jagex" attitude. You can only sue for damages, so you want your month memebership fee back? Then go ahead and sue, just remember the costs of actually doing so outweigh what you get back. punitive damages anyone? You could get alot more than actual membership damages if you sued jagex in court. Also just because a contract says something doesn't mean that contract will hold up in court. just fyi.

I agree with the last part. But people who think they are cool, face it, the "nerds" are cooler. "Cool" people, live in a small to average house, cant get a job, smoke, do drugs in a gang sometimes. etc. Smart people: Get a good job, get a big house, dont smoke, do drugs, part of some sort of "club" (math club, glee club or something :lol:) So I guess being a nerd actually does make you cool as you would most likely succeed in life if you are smarter then the rest. ;) that was filled with so much typical middle school generalization that it isn't even worth being replied to... but i did anyway.

it was the other way around. They automatically switched your items from rsc to rs2. They didn't come out with the option to switch items back to rsc for a few days, some people were speculating that jagex did it as a way to subtely force everyone to try rs2 before going back to the game we knew and loved. Not long after they made a back and forth transfer possible for a little while. That is how some accounts (like one of mine) had multiple bunny ears and scythe's on them. You xfered your items over and then went to draynor to get another one of the items and xfered again. good times

i've started seeing a couple of these while pking. my pker is a mid level 80 range tank, so I haven't fought one of those yet but it is kinda funny to see them fight, in passing.

please refrain from giving advice on something you know nothing about, you only make yourself look like a tool. And just for your personal knowledge, pure's don't get "owned by the simplest weapon", a pure's strength is in his offence... you don't need a defence when you keep your enemy eating to stay alive. I have a range tank that's level 83... almost as high as your main account. And while I prefer having a range tank over a 1 def pure, from personal experience let me tell you by the level 80's a 1 def pure is something to fear. i've killed my fair share of them, but that is mostly do to the fact that range tanks are ridiculously over-powered and if we get a lucky drag bolt spec we can hit in the upper 40's at my level. Believe me when I tell you, pkers by the mid 80s have a healthy respect for 1 def pures... if they don't, they may just find a little message at the bottom of their screen and it goes a little something like, "oh dear! you have died"

Why not? A level 82 with 90-95 summon isn't all that bad. did you read all of my post? I fully explained... the opportunity cost is just too great. The loss of time I would incur by training summoning, in my mind, doesn't add up to the amount of time I could have spent doing what i enjoy doing on my tank. (pking and training). Plus summoning wouldn't add all that much efficiency to the things i do on my tank.

to be honest, by now i don't expect an unban anymore. If i get one great, another white p hat is back in circulation, if not then i'll continue playing on my range tank. The only thing that still bothers me about the ban is that it was in 05... they don't use the line that they can't show me the evidence because someone could use that information against them, they straight up say they have no evidence. So they're telling me that i've been banned for 4 years for no apparent reason other then someone at jagex thought i was macroing back in 05... gf.

I don't have summoning on my pure because he is exactly that, a pure. An account whose sole purpose is pking. I have no need to spend hours on a skill that has no real bearing on the one thing I enjoy most with that account, pking. There are three activities I do on my pure, train, pk, kill green drags for pking supply money. I have a range tank, training is already ridiculously efficient/easy with chins. While summoning would help with killing green drags, i'm really not camped at green drags long enough to make the time wasted training summoning worth it. I may kill green drags an hour every other day to make up the difference from pking. As it stands now, most pks i get don't add up to the expenses i incur from my equipment. my average pk is around 150-200k and i pk with sea turtles rune knives and dragon bolts (e). really there just is no need for me to have summoning and "level 82 (+11)" just doesn't appeal to me.

I believe you. It really isn't that hard to believe what you're saying... i've played since late 2001 and have seen many cases of jagex pulling the ban-trigger far too fast and then not owning up to their mistakes. My first rsc main is in fact, still banned from the mass macroing bans back in rsc and i'm waiting on my newest second chance appeal. Of course jagex has no evidence, but the odds of jagex actually investigating and making what they did wrong right are far too small to count on. i'm just happy that they've actually taken their time before insta denying my appeal. My appeal has been pending since the 11th so either they are taking a long time before sending an auto response to make it look like they are looking into it, or miracle of all miracles, they are actually looking into my ban. To the people who blindly accept everything jagex does, that's all well and good, but just because nothing has ever happened to you doesn't mean those things don't happen. As i've said i've played for a long time, and while i don't "hate" jagex I have a healthy fear of their incompetence when it comes to customer support.

waaaaiiit a second is your pure level 82-84ish? Because if you are who i think you are... then you're a complete tool. There is a pure around that level with fail in their name... and i'm pretty sure it's you but i'm not 100%. But if you are who i'm thinking you are you are the saddest pker i've run into at that level. If you are who i think you are than your pure's name is correct you are full of fail. Because who i'm thinking of will say "no" when asked to fight, then randomly will farcast that same person once and put on the protect prayer for whatever combat type they are using then run if they get low on hp. pretty much pathetic.

defence xp with chins is fast, but not the fastest. i got from 1-58 def on my range tank with chins in one day... but i don't remember for sure what the xp/hr was for def with chins... i wanna guess around 60k xp/hr

One of my points were, that not only is it hard for me to find a suitable level to fight (Normally only those equivalent to my level or higher are willing to fight) because of my high level in f2p, but when I do find someone my level, they tend to be complete morons not capable of having a fight. Its not p2p where every tom [bleep] & harry has a level 120+, so its a little harder you see. And I'm not one to complain, instead I just stay away from PvP worlds now as they have little use to me in my current situation. I understand that its very lucrative for others though, and that's just dandy. This isn't the duel arena. You don't have to agree to fights, just attack them. have you ever been pking? there is no point in attacking them, if they don't consent to the fight they'll just walk out of wildy.

to be fair, alot of items are going up because of the bh update. And you don't always get these high end finished products... it's pretty common to get junk like addy arrows (p++)

if you're looking into investing a lot of time you could still be a bezerker pure or a barrows pure. If you don't want to put in as much time you could still be a ranged tank. get your ranged to 85+ and your defence to whatever level you want really. e.g. my range tank is 58 def and 88 ranged.

this right here is the prime example, really it cant be said much better! Being a pure gives you the advantage in that you have the power of a very high level, at a very low level. when someone of the same level (who lacks that extra power) uses the alternative skills they've trained to match the power of pures, they are insulted and flamed. Pking is not JUST FOR PURES, it is for ANYONE who feels like killing players! using prayer is taboo, because it takes away from the massive offensive advantage of pures, and because it absolutely drags out the fight between two well rounded players. defence is frowned upon for about the same reason. all in all, since the birth of pures, any defensive strategy has been labelled as nooby- why? because it takes away from the advantage they have. personally i have both a pure and a few well rounded accounts (one of which may be back with the ban appeal update! \ ) and my lower levelled pure has a cake walk because the armor available and defensive skills cant come close to hurting my offensive advantage. alternatively, my highest level all around character HAS to use defensive strategies just to survive, let alone win. thats my two cents, pures arent the worst thing in the world, but many pkers have the mentallity that anything defence is noob, therefore they flame when other people do it, and when they're on the rope, they generally do it themselves. these are the players who havnt been around too long, and dont understand WHY they dont like these things, they're just sheep following older players mentallities. it's not like a pure can't put on a protect from melee prayer as well... if both players have on protect from melee then one of them would of had to either fall asleep because the fight was so boring or just plain have their mouse disconnect for either player to die. That is why protect prayers are "taboo". If some mid level skiller walks in to the wild and starts using protect from melee he gets all worked up when he gets flamed for it and cites things like, "i trained it i can use it!" When in reality he is probably only eating lobsters, swordfish, or at best sharks... the money he is losing from supplies is very little compared to a pure/pker at that level who is most likely using at least 3 different pots and is eating sea turtles/manta rays or better. You see people getting flamed for using protect prayers because it is a waste of both player's time and resources. I have a mid level range tank (level 83) I've never been called nooby because of my defense.

that's my level 83 range tank. I trained from 65-80 at fire giants and chinned to 87, 88 at fire giants. I got my defence while chinning. btw, range tanks are disgusting. soooo disgusting. i love them.
