Societal norms. Really though the difference I find is that a child might not fully realize the possible consequences of having sex with an older man or woman. (note that I'm talking about actual pedophilia here, when it starts getting into like that 15-17 year old range it's much more of a gray area I think). I suppose so. But I mean, people are shocked and call pedophiles or beastiaphiles (?) as monsters when I'm sitting here already expecting it. There's fetishes and sexualities of all kinds are we just that close minded we don't realize how sexuality can expand so freaking much? But yeah, social norms is what dictates this all. Uhh, no. Today's terrorism it the most ineffective form of waging a war there could possibly be. Why not bomb the Parliament building than buses? Why not attack military bases around the world than taxi vans. Right now they scare over the population, which they think we've got some sort of political power? Lol, we're as screwed as they are. Attacking where the the politicians' interests are, then it'll hurt. Their government buildings, their businesses, their banks, their assets, their families, etc.

I never understood why pedophila was so immoral. Besides kids being forced into sexual acts (I'm not talking about "legal" consent) there's not much difference of liking kids to older people, or being homosexual or hetrosexual, or liking animals or humans. Sexuality is such a wide, pointless desire, why are some more right than others?

No, I mean once you're trained, once you're comfortable weilding a gun, why don't you think you can't handle a situation where your life is in danger? What keeps you from thinking you can have power and control in a situation? if not, why don't you think you CAN be trained to wield a gun? Plus, why is taking a human life so immoral to you? A human life whose objective is to make yours miserable? Now you want guns banned because you think people will still dash for them while being pointed at? Seriously? ONCE A GUN IS POINTED AT YOU, YOU ARE SCREWED. HIGH OR LOW GUN LAWS YOU ARE SCREWED EITHER WAY. Stop arguing for people's safety from their own guns.

A gun pointed at them is a one in a million chance, but what about facing a knife? Or another weapon? Or just a plain old mugger? It also depends where you live, a middle class suburb or South L.A, your chances will vary. Besides, we already have laws and morals that protect us for events that will happen once in a lifetime, why are guns so different? But a simple question: why don't you trust yourself?

I just get annoyed when people who are clearly going to have troubles raising a kid don't abort it because of outdated, ridiculous "religious" excuses. Not when it's contrary to the principles of justice itself, no. Faith in the judicial system goes a long way in making it effective. So justice for you can only be issued with "legal" consent? What defines legality? Why can't first-hand experienced people do justice but third-parties can. It's hard to have faith in a skewed, self-centered system that can never be perfect. Common sense from the legal system can easily fill in those gaps. Also compare the sheer number of schools in England to number of schools in America. It's not like a driver crashes into a elementary school classroom we'll start banning cars. Plus if someone had a gun in the school, he/she could of possibility stopped the shooter: trying to take control of the situation before third-party men in standard-issued uniforms come in 15 minutes later.
