Yeah, you wouldn't be saying that if you lived in Southern California. Cars are vital, which is why I can never agree with envionmental changes and regulations. It just wouldn't work here. (Mostly Public transport issues)

That sounds pretty awesome actually. All I finished was a psychological disorder essay. <_< Citations. What are they good for?
  3. Same with cops and pretty much anyone under the authority. Then why give them authority if they are no better then common men are? Unfortunately, that question is unanswerable. But I totally agree with said question.
  4. Not exactly. Small bits of resistance just escalate things to a fist fight, and the only way to stop the bullying (at least at my old schools) was to either knock out of hurt the bully really badly. If you start a fight with a bully you sure as hell better finish it, or it'll get 10X worse. That's the point. It's also the problem. If you go "too far", you'll be the wrong-do'er from the school's viewpoint.
  5. With a targeting system for scouts. I seriously can't comprehend how a rare few of demomen do that. Pipe-bombing scouts, Jesus Christ. Anyway...anyone know how to fix the backpack issue? Or is GLaDOS also screwing with us?
  6. How can math be ambiguous? Its one answer, no matter what. Or else it wouldn't be math. Questions can be ambiguous. Answers and the maths within can't be ambiguous and still be correct, even if the answer is that the question is ambiguous. The mistake here is with the syntax, not the maths itself. We're not destroying the fabric of causality here, we're just saying that the asker should have typed in a goddamn bracket. I still don't see how this question is even remotely ambiguous. There's a reason why PEMDAS/BIDMAS/whatever exists. I don't know how your experience with math went, but I've always been given expressions with the least possible amount of brackets possible.

Giving people more value than others? Slow down Furah, TIF can't handle such 'immoral' stances.
  8. The Hatless Update! Looking forward to the training voting and Class Duels.

Nope, Flounder: Nothing like it. It's some education game isn't it?

The yellow fish looks soooo familiar...but nothing's coming up.

Meeting another girl? Again? Damn Sam.

So following the logic of potentially, birth control should also not be used because they have the potential at life, with the chance of coming together being the same as one of the Three 'A's occuring. Doesn't sound contradictory at all.
  13. YES. Love that hat. Well to be fair, I don't like "extreme" painted hats/objects. Like hot pink anything? Ugly. White Bill's Hat? Awesome. Team Spirit on items for some reason don't change to the teams colors like original hats? Attractive.
  14. Oh snap, didn't expect that...diagonal tower! I'm going to guess the stone-halfblock pillars are frames for some huge glass window surrounding the tower?

Let me add more exceptions to your list: Condom breaks Pill doesn't work You even said accidents yourself, although in a confusing way (baby shouldn't be born but no abortion to be used, what?)... Should the mother still have the kid, when afterall, she and her partner were following your sound advice? It seems unnecessarily harsh to burden her over a stranger's "morals" and a bit of bad luck. Abortion also demonstrates foresight. As in, the baby isn't born yet. If abortion was the chosen pre-planned birth control, then no children would of been born neither, since it was planned and agreed to. The difference between condoms and abortion? 46 chromosomes instead of two 23's.

    ♫Gonna write an essay... that's what I say!♫

One thing I've noticed, is that there's many exceptions to abortion. You've listed quite a few already, as did several people in this thread. Why not just admit, different people have different morals and let whoever wants an abortion have it whenever over whatever reason. And the mother's experience to life? Oh that's right. Life is great if you're unhappy, because you better be damn thankful to your mother for not aborting you. Again, other forms of birth control removes the potential for human life. Take an example of two situations where two couples are having sex, one is using a condom and the other isn't. Everything is in place: sperm is headed towards the egg, whatever is going to happen in the child's future will happen, but BAM. A thin wall of plastic stops one of them. Everything was adjusted so perfectly, life would of occurred either way...but those two bastards murdered what was supposed to be a human one day long from now. Oh the humanity.

A bit contradictory isn't it? You would WANT to protect your children. Besides avoiding school shootings, all such law would protect is the parents getting shot at by their kids. It sounds like another case of unnecessary government protection from ourselves, since it's the parents fault for risking it in the house. No the law would prevent smaller children from playing with their gun and accidently shooting themselves or preventing school shootings. Also, yes the law would be unnecessary, but it also would be helpful if put inplace.. Unnecessary, yes. Helpful, no. Rednecks may leave their guns lying around with safeties off, but I'm pretty damn sure (myself included) responsible gun owners won't place guns willy-nilly around the home.

Only if rocks and my pet dog can vote. Just as if we preemptively give birth to scores of kids in hopes one of them will become the next Einstein, we won't get very far. Pregnancy gives you stress. That is what I meant.
  20. Giordano replied to Assume Nothing's topic in Off-Topic
Birth control does that anyway. There's no point to anything if you're going to ponder the 'what-ifs'. Plus some women don't want to be pregnant for 9 months. Stress, career, social requirements, etc., must come into consideration.

  22. Yeah, well, I didn't read all of it neither. And I read it months ago so I don't even know the new stuff. The problem with making that though, is the vast number of people needed. Server's just are too buggy and laggy for that right now. Mother of God, those stairs are like the ones in the Mayan pyramids. And it's done legit? A medal to you, sir.

But wouldn't it fall under the category of Child would be born into a family unable to take care of it since the mother would treat it as a burden?
  24. Have you guys ever heard of The Art of War? I imagine these planes would be awesome in 'wars'. Wooden buildings useless to napalm, DEEP underground bunkers against the big bombs, iron mining skyrocketing... I was planning on building a hangar myself, but didn't feel like playing yet. Whenever I do, I'm gonna have to figure out what to do with the mega throne palace I built on the last page and how an airport will fit there.
  25. I love the team spirit! Recently used it to paint my new scout's tillboy t-something (?) hat.
