Aren't the ones agreeing with the idea(s) here ex-tip.it mods? I don't think they are underestimating anything, unless the system of how a mod works has changed to something entirely different, which I doubt since all those duties you listed would be the same, just on a smaller scale 1-3 years back. What about those mods who are inactive, and don't do any of their duties? We can all agree not to kick a mod who isn't active publicly but is changing the forums from the shadows, but I think whoever said about inactive mods meant those who are inactive, those who don't do anything in the shadows, or in the public eye.

I agree there. The report function still works, and doesn't need to be replaced yet.

When you post something, your agreeing to those 'smart-[wagon]' to post their own opinion on your topic. Whether they rant with you, or tell you how your wrong is up to them. Yes, ranting is an emotional release, only because your telling people about it, and getting a reaction. Without someone challenging it, you wouldn't have a release. There is no problem here. I hope you get your money's worth.

Yea, some secondary characters need to have their storyline built up. As much as it is boring. In 2-3 strips we'll understand this strip though. ^^

As insane said, and what it seems tripsis, and others are arguing back is that adding a mod power to their powers would be a negative, and a more stressful addition to them. We're not saying they are obligated, or they already have to much power, we're saying it because its a plus to them, and to the us, the users. No, they can ignore every single topic that needs to be locked without a second thought about it, and they can go on with their work/browsing the forums. It's just something that they could have at their disposal to use in emergencies. When a topic goes unchecked for 20 minutes, they could, if they wanted do something about it. It doesn't even have to be locking topics, it could be editing posts only as well. It's like me having the option to be cruel, it's there, but I probably won't use it. *Cruel is a good example, though it is sort of a negative example...*

I started out in General, so I won't leave General because I found a better forum, I browse general as my third priority, which means I go to it everyday. You couldn't make a post about dragon armour if you know about the little evidence there is. Plus if you knew there's 30+ threads still floating in the top pages. By knowing these, you wouldn't post, but by not knowing you would post, and that's why you'd get flamed, the knowledge you don't know gets you flamed. What I meant by author's posting maturely was researching their topic on General for they don't do a topic that is quite prompted to get flamed, that is posted multiple times, and is quite annoying to most of the user base. The topics that aren't mature die faster then the good ones, I'd rather be getting topics that last twice as long as bad topics do. You wouldn't believe the amount of people who are against it, your avatar is something I can fall in love with though.

I really don't do any of this, though I've always wondered why people get so focused on cleanliness. they wipe, clean, or disinfect anything they use, or breath in. Not to say I don't get the sudden urge to clean my hands, where I will be washing my hands for 10 minutes... Of course they do.

Most ad systems find key words, then does their own search, the top searches are transferred onto that banner, or a single search that has been specifically designated to be displayed that way gets displayed if the key words match up. Jagex has probably banned the links to all websites that give free gold or what ever, meaning they won't be displayed, though sometimes they just slip through. So don't harass Jagex over one ad, one ad which I've never seen happen since I've played. Jagex does too good of a job protecting its users from kinky sites, who would just ruin the game for you, and everyone else, to be bothered by something so small like this, it doesn't measure up to anything.

Yea major potential, tad it up a bit(meaning a lot), and add to the details, yet combine the details with the other sentences, or the words even together better. You make a great detailed scene, then go directly into the story, eeze in on the transferring there. I enjoyed it. : Also, that first block of text could be indented at some areas. I don't have a degree in English or anything, but it just seems it should be indented.

This is untrue. Speculations about unknown, or hard to believe updates, that are backed up with good evidence, such as chaos elemental, jagex mods, in-game creatures/actions, quest hints, and good wording would contribute to a non-flame discussion, which has happened a lot more then when authors get flamed. The authors who do get flamed get flamed for posting words that make little to no sense, and have a paragraph on the speculation, with no good back up which allows flame to flourish. The authors who post maturely, and give evidence, and word it all properly do not get flamed. Those who ignore those such concepts will get flamed, for basically wasting the users time on a topic that is half made, and half heartedly done. There is more good speculation threads then the bad speculation threads.

So lets say you've never seen an atom, or molecule before, perhaps even the northern lights. There's videos, pictures about them, even theories, and theories proven by these atoms/molecules, yet you won't believe it, same with the moon landing, or even another famous event like live earth, it all could have happened in U.S. and the audience are just payed, and its all recorded? :-k

Earth has been around for 4.5billion years, or so(this is a year geologists agree on, 4.2 to 4.8). We've only been living(mammals) on this planet for 1.5% of that. Our technology, and intelligence levels grow rapidly per day now. So take that 1.5% and continue to grow it for it matches the 98.5% we haven't been living for. The technology levels would be amazing. if we hadn't killed each other yet. If the technology that we have, and the same physics exist in other galaxies, and beings who have intelligence to match ours, and were to be around for the time earth has been, I could believe Aliens do exist, and are watching us. Or do you think in 4 billion years we will not have explored another galaxy, or even water starting to form on mars?

Since I was 2, I got coke in my bottle, then I began to have 1-2 cans of coke a day around age 7, roughly get 12, I had 3-4 cans a day, I have now 3-5 cans, maybe 6 per day, or more when I No-Life on the computer. Caffeine has no affect me in the doses that poeple would give you, large amounts are needed in order to affect me. That's why caffeine isn't the best solution to take to wake up. You'll take a little, and more until you wake, maybe for a month you drink that much, soon you get used to it, and get stronger coffee, eventually your drinking 4 cups a day. :-#
