You lost me there...Lol. I can reach from 'A' to 'Del' with my pinky and thumb. My key binds are in that way so that I'm not wasting time moving my hands, but wherever I move my hands has a purpose, thus not wasting valuable time in PvP.

Two of my combos, which are only one key combos, will one-hit a minion each...and I didn't even bother to get the instant minion kill in my General tree. All my other combos bring them down to like 8% to 10% of health. Or the added DoT kills them, actually my one poison combo I think would kill a minion in 5-7 seconds. Not sure, but it's like 3 keys so not worth wasting on a minion. Got a new keybind, totally eliminates the use of my mouse (except for certain situations...), list: Directional Keys: W - Forward S - Backwards D - Strafe Right A - Strafe Left Num 4 - Camera Angle Left Num 6 - Camera Angle Right Num Enter - Jump Combat: Num 7 - DL Num 9 - DR Num 8 - Mid / - UL * - UR Following keys are for combos/abilities: - + Num Del Ins Scroll Lock Pause Break Num 1 Num 2 Num 3 Num 5 - Potion Following Keys are used for Misc. things like switch weapon, switch stance...etc: T Y U I O G H J K L B N M I think that's all of them...I have several functions on my GX keys as well. Gonna take awhile to learn these combinations... Anyone else mind posting their keybinds?

Still no Zelda announcement. Though I wouldn't blame them for waiting another year before presenting it, or even working on it, or considering to work on it by Octoberish, I'm still eager to see if they announce one. If they wait till the last little bit of E3 to announce it, I'm going to shoot myself.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
This show is awesome lol. The second Act was pretty hilarious, and very well done. Can't wait for the last one. I'm actually disapointed no more are going to be coming out...=(

Greatest Invention
Taco Bell... --- Surprised no one nominated the wheel though. To be honest though I don't think computers would have been invented yet, if the wheel had not been invented (found). Then again that goes into a debate of which invention (computers or the wheel) has progressed our human technology further than the other. I'm gonna say the wheel has until about 2020-2030, then the computer probably will out-do the wheel. As for now though I'm still saying the computer, the processing machine!

Sometimes you'll gain 10 levels in a day, and sometimes you won't even gain a level. All depends on your mood to be honest. I don't feel like powerleveling to 80, as I want to enjoy the quest storylines and get a good sense of what the heck I'm doing in the game. ^^ I got my keybindings reset, gonna take awhile to get used to these... >:)

I just hope they fixed the keybinding bug thing, I can't do crap in PvP without my uber binds. <3 Reading the notes now though.

an internet musical miniseries experiment: Dr. Horrible!
Yea, act I was pretty good, big fan of musicals and I enjoyed the songs. Seems like a very good show. Heck I'd watch that on normal TV, I hope the response is big enough to make them create a series...an online internet series, for the win.

My father's proposal.
Just shouting this out but an easy fix to your stepmom problem could be to make her something from the computer. I don't know but perhaps drawing her, or your dad and her together in some sort of picture or graphic then printing it out or whatever and then giving it to her as a gift would probably soften her up on the computer. Or just make a gift for her from the computer, anything would work to be honest. You said you took a few Java classes or whatever? What does she like to do that you could do in Java? Just a thought, but you'd need to be creative for these.

Smash Club.
Wii got fixed. Router broke, leaving 16 internet connections dead, and one alive. Just to say I'd rather leave all my connected programs on my computer 'live' then take an hour reconnecting them all to play an hour of SSBB. Routers are cheap though and I have to find a 16 port one though, so could take some time until I'm back dominating you all... :o And wow I mistook this thread for the actual thread. Spammers?

Yea, if that's available for PS2 I'll be incredibly happy. Then again I really don't think dumb downed graphics would do it justice if that trailer was true in-game graphics, and not just a pre-rendered movie. Would be sweet if that was actual game play, but as they discussed those graphics should be possible on the PS3. And yea Sony is, as usual always appealing to the Hardcore gamers, and I'm glad they have stuck with hardcore gamers but also going a little bit into the 'casual gamer' area, but not enough so that we aren't getting anything. The only people who make up reports about games are the hardcore gamers, or reviewers who only review games they are told to review, or games they enjoy. Particularly most reviewers are hardcore gamers. I can see horrible ratings for 'casual gamers' games in the future just because reviewers are probably getting to the point of 'Just because it's meant for this audience doesn't mean I have to review it differently,'. Anyways I also like how Sony is planning on keeping the PS2 going and giving support to it for the coming years, makes me happy to think I'll be able to buy a PS3 and have another 13-15 years out of it before spending another $300-$600 dollars and still get good games. I'm just hoping EA > Funcom can perhaps get the console integrated to a certain MMO, though this is wishing for like two zelda games in one year, lol. Mega Man 9!@!@ Series needs to die off like FF. Or innovate something that keeps Mario alive (besides being a huge character in the development of the company). DC Universe is also probably just a whole bunch of 'if' lines of code, so that selecting different things is just going to point you towards another area of game play, and not true 'play along'. Was hoping for something a bit better from this when I first heard it but I don't think Technology is there yet. Another interesting thing I didn't know was that, if this is true, that 'most PS3 games aren't utilizing the PS3 by 80%,' as stated by the dude in one of the videos. Is this true? Or is our software technology that far behind in the hardware capabilities?

Ubisoft was kind of boring compared to Sony's...Lol. 'I Am Alive' looks like a decent game, even though there was no show of gameplay. But it's Ubisoft, it's probably very well done. Other than the 'Girlz' bit, average conference.

I can see this happening: M$ & Nintendo expanding into the casual gaming area up until 2020, continuing to ignore their veteran or hardcore gamers. Sony producing more complex and user satisfying 'hardcore' games. Sony becomes the company for the 'elitist gaming community', while M$ and Nintendo are referred to as the carebear companies. I really think M$ and Nintendo ignoring their veteran gamers is going to cause tons of people to buy the PS3 for the 'real' games. Especially with this new 80G and MAG thing coming. Sony really looks like it's exploring new grounds that players are wanting, unlike M$ and Nintendo who are wondering how to make Billions from the soccer mom type families. Nintendo reminds me of leapfrog, while Microsoft reminds me of YTV. Sony is like CTV. Lol...

It would be hard if they weren't auto-grouped like it sounded like. It sounded like you would pick your type of character (infantry, air, tank driver, turret operator...etc), then you'd be grouped into a squad (if necessary), with a pre-selected chain of command. So as long as you know the rules & know the battlefield, it's basically up to your squad to maneuver however you like. Integrate voice, pre-made player-made battleplans (that are entirely executed by everyone, and nobody is bound to it), you've got an extremely awesome game. Or so what I think will come from this game. I might just buy a PS3 because of it. Also, I wouldn't call it an MMO, perhaps a MMOFPS would be better...But anyways this MAG is what put Sony's conference content at #1. So far I'm enjoying Sony the most.

The point? Let's think of 'Soccer Mom's' protecting their children from the indecent games. Think of seven year olds playing together @ daycare. Think of Treehouse combined with Nintendo. There's their point of these games. Also let's not forget that they want these games played in parties, and not by single-players. "Social Gaming isn't compatible with hardcore gamers." >.> EDIT: Uh oh, looks like Sony is now entering their social gaming part of the conference... At least it looks realistic and not fluffed up like M$ and Nintendo's...

Same, so far it's looking pretty decent compared to the previous conferences. But it's my personal taste. Sony is presenting a lot better (I'm disregarding what they are presenting and how they present it) than how MS or EA, or Nintendo presented. I don't know why but it just seems far more entertaining. Don't know if I'm over-hyping it or not, but I'm enjoying this conference a lot more than the others, I hope they keep it up through-out the rest of it. This is just for the conferences and how they are presented, not what they are presenting.

http://www.g4tv.com/e32008 You can watch the conferences live there. Or if you don't want to watch craptastic quality: http://livewire.ign.com/2008/e3/index.html I's -1 to -4 minutes behind but good quality - Cameras usually shift around to so it doesn't get boring to sit through it as much. -- True I wouldn't expect them to present big game titles on the first few days, they are probably waiting till each other have gone and announced their big games, so they can get the last shout in. But who knows.

E3 2008 | Discussion
All presentations thus far have been really depressing to watch. Nintendo and Microsoft are way too busy exploring the 'social gamer' area, and I really feel like they are ignoring the gaming veterans. Even the games they highlighted that would peak the interests of veteran type gamers were really dry. GTA for DS, I think people are going to buy it, and people somewhat unimpressed with it compared to GTA4. Even if it is portable. Perhaps I'm just angry that so far there's been nothing to indicate towards a hardcore game for the Wii at all. Even a Zelda title would have been appreciated. Ugh rants. So far EA, M$, and Nintendo have been bad presentations if you ask me, and they haven't brought anything new to the table that puts them far ahead. If Sony in an hour and so bring something new to the PS3, or even gives highlights of at least 4 major games for the PS3, they've taken E3 away, easily. I just hope they aren't going to focus as much on the 'social gaming' atmosphere as Nintendo and M$ did. /rant @ no Zelda...>.> -- The Nintendo presentation was quite funny at times, even if it was rehearsed. Animal Crossing looks pretty interesting, and the Wii Motion just looks like an over-hyped accessory that brings the Wii Remote up to what Nintendo wanted it to be like on release.

Microsoft, what the heck were they even trying to do at the conference? It was like they were talking to 60 year olds, especially with how the main host guy was talking, it was like he was trying to sell the system way too much, reminded me of this: Just put the guy in that video, and bingo! Gears Of War looked decent, pretty average game. Dead Space I was impressed with, it's probably going to be a good series... Mirrors Edge looked interesting don't know if I'll even get it though, the concept is awesome though. EA's conference was a lot better than M$'s for sure, except for that old NBA or Basketball player, he kept rambling on, and on, and on. Nothing exciting really happened from those two. Hopefully today Nintendo can bring something to the table, and actually have something that is exciting, or new. Unlike the previous two conferences where it was basically the same technology, or same line up of games, with the exception of two new titles that 'might' be worth playing. Nintendo or Sony needs to save E3. >.>
