Jagex took out pvp by ignorantly thinking it was pvp that was the main problem. The problem was dropping your items, they could of easily of left the wilderness how it was, but implement the gravestone feature.

I think he is dealing with it like every other 14 year old, he's asked his parents and they said they couldn't buy him it, thus he has to get the money himself. Or wait till your 15 and get a job at a corner store, or working in the backrooms of a supermarket.
