A Thought Experiment: Summoning 2 Familiars at Once
You're too smart for me ;) It did come to me as a suggestion, but then I realized, as Bows said, Jagex would never do it. So there's that too. You should instead do a ''suggestion'' thread about slayer skill for free players. I'm sure there would be ALOT of discussion about whether or not releasing the most successful skill as a f2p version would be a good idea or not, and how it could be implemented(don't get me wrong, i hate free players getting new content, but that could give alot of people reason to get members).

A Thought Experiment: Summoning 2 Familiars at Once
There is no specific need for this and neither is there a specific advantage to this, so no, i don't think this would be a good idea. By the way, does 'thought experiment' amount to 'since i don't want this to be moved into the suggest ''graveyard of threads'' ions, i'm trying to ignore categorization' ? I mean, it works....

65m slay xp, 2500 tasks
There are so many things wrong about the first picture that it almost makes me cry... Nonetheless, knowing eero, most of the top slayers have similar strangeness's about them, and it's rmarkable that they don't burn out. Sweet achievement though.

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
What's so difficult to understand about it? Right now we have three prices in the ge- market price, 0,95x market price and 1,05x market price as the price floors, allowing free trade we would have market price(or suggested price), min gp(most likely 1, but there can be other floors) and max price(2.147B), and the market price would just adjust according to the average price the item is sold(taking supply into account). This would make the GE work much better and would completely remove junk trading and price manipulation.

How does a stock market(of which the ge is a cheap ripoff) work....?

200M in all Skills
This post just proves that you know nothing about efficiency. Sure, smithing rune platebodies is fast xp, just as making demonic thrones is fast construction xp. Somehow, neither method is very popular. Why? because people aren't stupid enough to call others cheap(and for reference, if there were a handful of people on these boards who would go for such ridiculously expensive methods, i'd be one of them). Overall, because you still LOSE TIME making money(and having only two ge slots in f2p is a killer), meaning that even though the smithing xp is higher, the overall xp is lower.

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
I just don't understand all this BS about the ge being nonexistant with free trade. Is it just ridiculous stupidity or what? For everyone that doesn't know, the ge isn't anything really remarkable in this world, and there are ALOT of other markets that work the same way. Two differences though- they work(as opposed to the GE right now that is constantly 'stuck') and they allow free trade. Go figure...

Overs
Just use them on all tasks. Unless you are going for more than 99 slayer you will never run out of them.

Or dragon platebodies, dragonfire shields, spirit shields and... Yeah, lets be smart about this, not stupid(money doesn't grow on trees, particularly in f2p). Those are ridiculous comparisons, they are not only P2P but extremely hard to buy in bulk. Money isn't an issue with most of them as well, as they tend to make profit at various times. Rune platebodies, on the other hand, are just as easy to make in bulk as rune 2h swords or platelegs, and rarely cost much more per bar to make. Rune 2h swords and platelegs are twice as efficient as rune platebodys at 3m an hour(which is ridiculously high for f2p). 'Nuff said. Also, i've got more than 2.5m smithing xp smithing dragon platebodies...

Guide to efficient Frost dragon slaying.
I would recommend range aswell, as it's less clicking and melee really isn't worth it before turmoil. The problem with some people not reaching the kill rates i've stated in the guide is that the rates have been gotten with fast internet connection and high attention rates, not to mention being very experienced at killing. None the less, 99 range should never get less than 180 kills with rcbow+runite bolts. I've done that a couple of times but it doesn't help as much as it does with melee(~3 more kills instead of ~6 more kills in an hour), but if you want to reach the absolute max rates, and are using overloads, it's a nice addition. Other possibilities are to use dark bow, msb or zamorak bow specs. Yet again, use the specs on hard to lure dragons to KO them quickly. Oh, and karils bow really isn't worth it because of the price and short range, rune arrows and runite bolts are both better. Quyneax, nice job on the answers

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
Oh, so putting it in the wilderness and calling it 'potentially' dangerous isn't clue enough? Or what about the fact that you get skulled(marking you a pk-er) and lose all prayer points when you enter the abyss? Jagex clearly meant for abyss pking to exist, fact.(also, revs are a cheap alternative to real pking, however much jagex wants them to be frightening)
-
Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
Do you even know why the abyss was created? It was MEANT to be high risk-high reward runecrafting for those who can do it. It was supposed to be an alternative for those who can't be bothered walking to altars and crafting runes the conventional way, but still keeping the conventional way viable(by adding risk). The removal of wilderness pretty much unbalanced that content. Sure, people didn't like it, and i won't argue with that, but some things in life and games are not supposed to be liked. Do I like being killed by corp while soloing? Do I enjoy brushing my teeth every morning? This is not sissy-scape. And really, the only reasons on this thread are issues for the stupid, people taking cuddling for granted. I don't know how those people will survive in real life(reading and understanding a trade screen ~ reading a contract before signing it, etc). However, the update would be hugely helpful for the economy and high level content(high risk pking, staking).

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
It would need a viable alternative, like the GE actually being able to update. Otherwise the market will just stagnate and die. Also, junk trading isn't a problem, it's a cause(and it's not as though people would sell their partyhats in the ge if it was removed, removal of junk trading would raise the price of rares even further).

Aquanite
No, because there is nothing likable about them, you should never buy the ability to be assigned them. And remember, it's not as though if you grow tired of them you can lose the ability to be assigned them- you'll just lose a block spot for nothing(which is a big loss in money/xp). Classifying fun as completely subjective is a view of morons- fun can and is very easily quantifiable(it's actually quite like total energy- it's almost impossible to gauge the total energy of a system, but you can easily compare the energy difference between two systems).
-
Aquanite
That is if there is something likable about tasks. Wyverns freeze you, does anyone find that fun? I usually finish tasks before even caring about when they'll be finished, but 'nites have to be one of the most boring tasks ever- i seem to constantly check my ring for how long i have to endure the **** of hitting 0's with max offense. 'Nites AREN'T fun, that's for sure.

Aquanite
Most of us hating on aquanites in this thread can soul split them, which eliminates the need to pray and bank. They're bad because they're spread out and have high defense, PLUS crappy drops. I seem to hit 400's on them fairly regularly with a zs super atk/str and the 10% str prayer so their def can't be that high...and I can see where your coming from on them being spread out a bit it's a bit of a hassle...and If you're going to base a task solely on drops do you skip dark beasts as well?? Their def isn't terribly high but as i said, turmoil doesn't work on them and there is no extra damage, so even though their def is around the same as abyssals, the xp is much lower(29k vs. 36k). Ranging is horrible because...ranging is horrible(there is no reason to waste more money for worse performance). Also, i have 'nites unlocked and have done quite a few tasks with turm/rapier/overloads so i'd know how bad they are. Even having unicorn doesn't cover all the healing and you'll still need SS, meaning they do around as much damage as steel dragons. By the way, numbers you hit mean nothing(having high defense doesn't mean you'll hit lower).

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
Do you even understand what free trade is? Trade limit has nothing to do with it and having it capped wouldn't change anything. And well, what was bad about the old way? too many botters?

Aquanite
How are they fun? They have really high defense, are very far apart and hit for alot of damage(and all of this assuming maxed stats/equipment)? Not a good task by any standard. Subjective. It's always a good idea for people to try a task out once, because some people actually find them fun. By that logic you can't say anything about any task being good. However, assuming you have a brain, most slayer tasks are actually very similar and you can easily categorize them. 'Nites are a no-cannon no-familiar(combat) melee task(much like kurdal dungeon tasks) only that the monsters have really high defense, turmoil doesn't work on them and they do alot of damage(and praying is not a possibility). I'm very pessimistic about anyone calling hitting 0s fun(and as some CLS fanboys say, hitting high is also fun), nor do i think running back and forth to pick up drops, attack new monsters alot of fun, so even though fun is subjective, in this case, it can easily be quantified.

Really? i somehow remember people cannoning them when they were released but i'm not completely sure on that... I recall there being a glitch when they first came out that allowed you to set up a cannon. K, but yeah, i'm pretty sure i've seen a cannon there. In any case, they are a bad task(but likely not the slowest).

Not sure why all you people hate them I've gotten 5 yes 5 range ammys in 2 tasks...the snape grass drops rune bolts/addy bolts crims and blues add up nicely too... i camped over 5000 kills there on the first few days of release, and i can assure you that you got lucky with the ranged amulets. they are still HORRIBLE slayer xp (the single worst xp/h of any of kuradal's tasks), and the charms are horrible ("adds up nicely" = "so horrible but they still stack in my bank and add to my current pile"). Are you sure they are the slowest kurdal task? With rapier etc, no cannon, they are around 29-30k xp an hour, likely up to 40k with a cannon, and really, the drops are mostly average(range ammies and good blue charms).

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
Well, now people just don't have to recreate 10 green baldies every day as jagex doesn't care about banning their mains. Sure, it looks good on paper- the botters are wearing pretty granite platebodies and dragon medium helms, but not much has changed. Instead of being stupid and botting something like yews on f2p, they'll just make a few p2p accounts(and being p2p means you can't get banned unless you tell someone that their pet is ugly) and farm green dragons the whole day. Botting has become even worse in terms of people actually buying bots and training their main accounts with them(i have a friend who got 99 agility, smithing and mining by botting) while jagex just looks the other way. And don't even get me started on RWTing, as it's happening more than most of you might think(5% per trade adds up  ).

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Bad xp(you can't compare it to the xp you would get by cleaning full inv with mousekeys) and probable loss of cash(if you don't use the herbs yourself). By not cleaning you can decide to either sell grimy/clean, and the difference could be as high as 3k per herb(or more like it was during EXPW). Thats what I do. And herbs sell more CLEAN, at least the ones worth growing (Cadantine being an exception, normally, but then again, who grows that?) Look up EXPW graphs and then tell me clean sell for more. The time it takes to clean while in a bank is very slight(an hour for ~200 farming runs, barely 5% of time lost(this assumes you lose no time by cleaning while farming, which usually isn't true)) but you could lose alot of money by only having one option(this is mostly or only true for torstol because people don't care weather they buy clean or grimy).

Would bringing back free trade be viable today?
No this won't happen or no, this wouldn't work? Because going by the title of the thread, this would easily work. The reason free trade was abolished was because of botting. Now that botting is at it's peak yet again, I don't see the reason to hate on free trade so much. Blade- the market doesn't work fine. Far more gp is being brought into the game and far less is being removed from it, and the removal of free trade was mostly responsible for this shift. Reintroducing free trade would eliminate price manipulation and the worth of junk, thus making for a much better economy. The ge would be largely unaffected(apart from you being able to acquire or sell any item at any time). Clifford- abyss pking was a legit way of pking that was introduced on purpose. There is nothing bad about that. Bring back RWTing? nice one  luring? not unless the old wildy is introduced, and we still have a 'wall' for those of you with a double digit IQ. Scamming? Aren't there enough red-flashy messages to notice if you really care about your valuables? Also, i think the removal of gravestones would greatly enhance MHing from what it is now(you used to actually think about risk in the old days). baby-scape is what you need, really. Also, bringing back staking would be a great way to enhance the elite level gameplay for rich players who are running out of things to do on the game, not to mention real pking(which most of the people nowadays have no clue about).
