  1. ls + div > rapier/maul at tds with steel titan basically i would say ls if you have divine, maul if you don't.
  2. well assuming your 10.5m lsp figure is right (which it probably isn't unless you had some lsp going into those drops), then here's how your odds for ely/div break down: assuming all your teammates have 0m lsp and you have 10.5m lsp when then ely/div sigil drops, your odds of getting the drop are: 50.93% in a duo (vs. other's 40.07%) 18.23% in a 6man (vs. others' 16.35%) 11.68% in a 10man (vs. others' 9.81%) 5.14% in a 30man (vs. others' 3.27%) so in short - yes you have a chance, but not a much better chance than someone with 0m lsp. (which is a ridiculous assumption anyway because not many people corping have 0m lsp)
  3. what rational human would choose an inexperienced, low combat, low skill total player over an experienced, high combat, high skill total player? you are asking us to be irrational out of some misplaced sense of pity.
  4. you can also turn on lunars and kill suqahs, which are really the only two useful features of lunar isle anyway.
  5. the graardor brothers =D> edit: that would legitimize the phrase "barrow ur gs?"
  6. what is stopping you from using melee?
  7. i at least am okay with instances  it'll drive the prices of loot down, but i think that's actually probably okay. ps: saying "you folks" is very antagonistic and doesn't help with the whole "come together/let it be" beatles soundtrack you are proposing (lol), since it really only strengthens the ingroup/outgroup bias we have all seen (but i do think it's okay for us to be civil)
  8. ahh yeah my black dragon ran away from me, i have yet to get him back :\ if you were, say, fletching bows you could just feed it every 10 inventories (not sure on the number)? dunno, or feed it every time you repot if you are training combat.
  9. heh your list is basically the same as mine except, i skip sp mages and gargoyles and do nechyraels and aberrant spectres slayer points
  10. it would astound me to meet anyone with the requirements to kill graardor once who has never been "crashed" at popular spots like: goblin house, cow pen, chicken pen, hill giants, lesser demons, green dragons, mining ore, etc. if they have never experienced the norm of crashing in runescape then they likely botted or purchased their account - such players receive no pity from me. i don't even do bandos because it's actually not that good money compared to DKs or TDs, and ridiculously crowded. i don't crash at TDs. i only crash at DKs if there are no open worlds in the narrow population range i need to maximize kills and minimize risks (there are usually only 2-5 worlds in this margin, so i actually will check them all before i crash). solo mages can use a higher population world which cannon tribrids cannot use as effectively.
  11. don't you think it's a bit hyperbolic to say that being crashed at an unbelievably crowded spot is equivalent to being "sock[ed] in the gut"? surely everyone who has ever even tried to kill graardor knows how ridiculously crowded it is? using simple deduction they should have realized that there is a high chance that they would run into another player fighting for the same turf.
  12. you will also see competition derived crashing at team saradomin and armadyl godwars. that's the only type of crashing that i think any of the "pro-crashers" (as much as anyone can be a proponent - i mostly see it as the lesser of two bad options) have been defending. very few people will say that a 138 crashing a team of 80s in a lootshare world at the KBD is defensible. although some will say it's okay as it's not against the rules of the game (which i agree with), most would say it's kind of a mean-spirited thing to do (which i agree with). if i were in that situation at the KBD, i would hop worlds because a) i know that i can find a good world in one or two hops and b) i know that being in a lootshare world increases my odds of being crashed by a duo of 135s.
  13. i disagree with this part. while it may apply to the person you were addressing (who purchased his/her phat for 70m on the GE if i recall correctly), some partyhat owners, myself included, didn't get it for cheap and had to pay full street price for it. some people will work for it, and they will get it. i don't consider any partyhat owner lucky to have one unless a friend sold one to them for trade price in the last two years.
  14. fact: a 138 makes more money per hour soloing a boss than teaming it with another friend. they are factually better off by themselves to solo a boss.
  15. this is where you got confused. a white partyhat is worth much more than 500m. also you don't generate 2b junk. you are the one that has to get rid of 2b junk that someone else generated. also, no one is making you do it. if you don't care to do the trades necessary to get what a different colored partyhat, then you don't have to do them.
  16. sic is latin for thus, and you put it in brackets inside the quotation when the original source of the quote had incorrect grammar/spelling. it's to show the reader that the the author did not make the mistake, but rather the quoted source. as in "it was spelled thus"
  17. what, exactly, is the point? can you explicitly state what you want game theory applied to? i thought this was discussing crashing. i posted a perfect game of crashing. grammar nazis around the world would have you know that it should have been "there are only two skills".
  18. uhh that's excatly what they say "once you're age XX, then you can vote/drink/drive etc." here's what we say "once you are higher combat, then you will be able to hold your world" the only people saying that "noobs should just quit it's my boss" are meanie heads edit: that's not profanity, quit your grudge lol and stop editing my posts.
  19. hate to break it to you, but in many countries (likely including your own), there are age requirements to vote (if applicable), drink, smoke, have sex, drive a car, run for office, etc.
  20. no boss is good for training on, unless you consider frost dragons a boss go train your stats the real way (hint: not 20k xp/h at bandos) if you want to have high stats. i use 30m gear at dks not counting divine - it's not like you need to kill bosses to make 30m lol.
  21. i'll humor you here's a payoff matrix for the following situation: player 138 and player 110 are in the bandos room in a non-lootshare world. player 138 always gets the kill if both of them are in the room together. player 138 alone kills graardor twice as fast as player 110 alone. together, player 138 kills 33% more graardors per hour. if either player leaves, it means that they go to an alternative money making method - gathering mort fungus (which is 1m/h). as you can see, the 138 has a dominant strategy to stay in the room and kill graardors. a rational level 110 will leave, because he knows the 138 is going to stay - in which case his best strategy is to leave and go make 1m/h instead of making no money (actually losing because of supplies, but whatever). i don't know what you're trying to prove. we all know that 138s stay and 110s hop - isn't that what this thread is about?
  22. if you don't want to spend a few minutes learning simple algebra, then i welcome you to try your hand at sniping a phat from the GE good luck
