the best gear in terms of highest xp per hour is full slayer helmet fire cape amulet of fury chaotic rapier rune defender bandos chestplate bandos tassets barrows gloves dragon boots berserker ring (i) / ferocious ring when applicable always use cannon when applicable always use turmoil always use extreme potions always use steel titan when applicable -- you should get 95 prayer and 88 herblore before you buy bandos and the other fancy gear

don't forget lower chance of ko'ing with divine, that's a plus at td's with steel titan i use it so i don't have to brew as often; i get more kills per hour (as well as longer trips) with divine instead of defender
