You Should go and sell your Guth, then buy veracs again. Then after you get your full v go do some KQ until you get enough money to get guthans again. OR You could save your guthans for a little and train at bandits to get your combat stats up, then do what said in the first suggestion, because itll be easier the higher your cmbt stats are.

Adding to what bobbington said, I know that the vambs are around 3M-3.5M.

I dont think that JaGex would ever do this because a new game coming out soon called Aion: Tower of Eternity is an MMORPG with one of its main aspects being that players can obtain wings that are either angel or demon.

I support this, but I think that JaGex would have to change some of your ideas around like the reqs and stuff. But I like the idea of it degrading as you mine ores and giving less exp per ore as it degrades.
