it matters if you want consistent drops (like if you want a more steady money source than just barrow items), then yes, kill count does actually matter, as it improves your rune drop rate (it also helps you to keep your death rune count up for darts), i found 10 to be ideal. any higher than 15 to me was a waste of time. up to 15 is good, any more after is a waste.

Why would I go out fishing if I had enough sharks in bank? i didnt use a single piece of food, with full ham robes and no weapon (i just kicked Sigmund to death). all i did was melee prayer, and the 15% str and attack prayer, and wham! HAM history.

Mort Myre Mushrooms can be gotten by simply casting boom (blessed sickle option) near some rotting logs in the mort myre swamps. Avantoe is a lv 50 herb that can be bought from other players with the appropriate herblore level, or it is a herb drop (most herb droppers will drop avantoes)

barrows are the best for monster killing, but rune gloves are best used in wildy, rune gloves have these stats: Attack +8 to all but magic, +4 to magic Defence +8 to all but magic, +4 to magic +8 strength, 0 prayer costs less than a pair of mystic gloves, and as good defence as the crest gaunts Dont buy the dragon gloves unless you got 130k to bur, it has less stats than barrow gloves and costs the same.

Strictly not the best, but the better one is horrifically expensive, like in the region of 5m. It's called Mage's Book, Magic Training Arena Reward and gives +15 magic attack and defence bonus. If you want cheapness, go for broodoo shield, +5 prayer and +3 magic attack bonus, as well as decent melee defence.

why not the full set? i happen to do very well with a flail in hand, no magic used on any of the brothers. also no prayer potions used, but that's just me. it's a matter of personal preference, i suppose :D Verac's Full set with flail is for higher levels, some what costly because one needs to pray on all the brothers, but the profit comes from ALL the runes rather than some, which offsets the extra cost of the p pots. and high prayer level will help save money too.

few things that will help you in making profit when barrowing : 1. NEVER EVER pray on all brothers. Ahrim is optional, but mage Torag and Guthan in Melee armor. 2. Prayer outfit will save a dose or 2 of prayer, again profitable in the long run. Verac's armor is good for both being a melee armor and prayer booster (NOT the full set, just the head, armor and legs) 3. get your kc to at least 10, so you can get blood runes, these will give you very healthy income (for me, 200 [4] prayer pots costed me 1.6m, and that is equivalent to 3k bloods, about 80 runs. if you do it correctly, you should, at most, only use 1 prayer pot per run, assume we use 60, thats all the money back AND 140 left over, not even counting the barrow pieces and chaos runes you might sell).

did you get him to tell you that he ate an evil stew? if not, just try every dialogue option and he will eventually tell you that. if he did, talk to her mother upstairs, she will tell you that all rats ate the spices, and off you go.

he ate an evil stew, what you have to do is get your cat and start eating the rats in the room dave is in, and try each colour spice on a stew and talk to him, he will tell you what spice is right or wrong, there are 4 coloured spices.

hmm.... that is what i am thinking, would the expense of the crystals outweigh the speed of its training? also since i have the access to multiple crystal bows, would it even be worth considering to keep Karil's Bow? or should i sell it?

money shouldnt be a problem, i am already down to 360k for recharge, 1 more and its 180k. Any other inputs?

I am currently on 71 ranged, and would like to get it up a bit. would a Crystal Bow be faster than a Magic Short on Steel arrows? And would C Bow be an effective bow at my level to train with? ty!

chompy requires the completion of Big Chompy Bird hunting quest. the only place i know with rabbits are in Tirannwn, requires regicide (not completion) to access.

strange.. karil hurts me far more than ahrim, well i suppose because i usually kill ahrim very much quicker than karil, which is why i dont pray him...

The thing about using Veracs to Barrow is that only 115+'s do it. I don't think ppl with lower levels than that can do it efficiently. i didnt say barrow using verac's set special, note that i mentioned verac's set as an armor to wear while maging. I wear full veracs minus flail to mage the melee and ranger.

Try not to use Mage outfit unless you really have money to burn, because praying all the brothers is a complete waste of money. Kill the lesser 3 without prayer potting (Guthan, torag and ahrim, wear melee armor and mage guth and torag, and range ahrim). I have found absolutely no benefit of wearing full mage outfit. the only thing i saw was i needed more prayer pots (which is a waste of money, because food is cheaper). Verac's set is good for both melee protection and prayer bonus, as well as having less magic penalty.

Which quest allows the access to the Elf Teleport Crystal? I am guessing Regicide, but i could be very wrong. Also is killing elves the only way to get these crystals?
