Not exactly as good, the Helm is inferior by 10 defence values for all but magic. It is slight inferiority though, and can be compensated by wearing verac's helm instead of dharok's helm. Torag's set is for those who cant afford anything else. EDIT : I like my sig's pic :P

fly fishing is the fastest way to get fishing xp, the only comparable way is monkfish fishing. And you cant fly fish in the guild, you can only Harpoon/Cage fish or Net/Harpoon fish.

Yeah, but any barrow set effect only kicks in when you wear the entire set, including the weapons. Torag's Hammers is pretty bad for melee weapons, so you are better off NOT wearing the set. But if you are not wearing the set, mixing saves money and bank space. Also Mud staff is not straight, it is curled at the top and the staff is a lot thicker than this one. and Slayer Staff does have branches.

1. The abyss entrance is exactly the same place where you started the mini quest, in the wildy north of edgeville. Right click on the mage and there should a Teleport Option, which teleports you directly into the abyss. 2. unfortunately you wont survive long in the abyss, the monsters are lv 41, 63 and 87, and it is multicombat area. You would have to train up to at least 70 combat to stay long enough

its actually not a Mud Staff, it's slayer Staff. If you are just using Torag's set just for the defence, then i assume that you are not going to use the full set, and hence the torag's armor set will serve the same purpose as wearing dharok's armor, legs and verac's helm, which has almost the same stats (the only difference is ranged defence).

Are you going to use Torag's Full set effect, or just purely for its defence value?

look at your sig, that guy is wearing a dharok's set except the helm is Verac's. Torag's set is overpriced for its stats. Just get Full Dharok, whip, and full Verac's and you will be fine. EDIT: for that reason, do not go near torag's set, just forget it.

Verac's for sure. Torag's Set stats can be obtained by just swapping out dharok's helm for verac's. And the set is very useful for dueling and fight pits (NOT caves, thats the 702 one, i am talking about free for all minigame)

i am sorry but its not even worth 1k, the wand's stats is so bad that no1 would want to go near it (any elemental staff, even the normal ones, are better stat wise). You might be lucky to sell for 100k, but thats because he doesnt know what wands do.

let us face it, nobody, or a group of people can be absolutely perfect. Sure one may say that they have a bit too many bugs with POH, but the way that they dealt with the problem is not something to be discarded. Like malo2 said, they still got in their unsocial hours and solved the problem as fast as they could. Other people may have just left it until later, when damage could have nearly become irreversible. They could have done better at the skill, but the way they deal with these problem is A class in my books.

you need 70 to kill kurasks, and they are the only ones that drop white top, so you are 20% thehre.

yep, i put on melee protection and used whip to kill him. the stat restore is essential, as well as prayer, thats why Prayer equip is a must up there, otherwise your prayer wont last long enough (you have to melee protect all the way from the bottom of the mountain until you kill kamil)

i dont think d hides work, because his magic attacks are 100% accurate (no splashes, nothing), so i just kept there with my prayer and melee'ed him... i will check again whether i put on mage or melee, i am pretty sure melee...

Cannon is not good against a single target, you are better off meleeing him 1 on 1.

Its not the troll stronghold quest that gives trollheim teleport, its Edgar's Ruse, which is quite an annoying quest due to the little minigame you have to play -.- DT's hardest boss really depends on your items, i found kamil to be worst because i had 0 super restore pots -.-

about 8 pray pots, monks outfit, 2-3 super restore pots and rest food. melee protect all the way until you reach kamil, and then put on protect from melee and kill him melee style, while drinking restore pots every so often. Eating is required because he freezes you, causing ALL of your stats to lower. EDIT : i should have said wear prayer outfit. I also recommend trying to get trollheim teleport (edgar's ruse) so it makes this quest easier.
