there are plank spawns in the wildy and north of barbarian outpost east of the gnone stronghold. Those are normal planks though and is quite slow exp, the best is oak planks, but is only obtainable by paying the sawmiller guy for it. In fact all planks except the normal one can only be sawmilled, it cannot be made as of the time i am typing this.

6 KC is ONLY advised if you are prepared to lose Deaths, and want to get nothing but chaos runes as your source of income. I am currently doing 15 KC runs, and over 6kc, it only takes 3-4 minutes longer, but the blood runes is worth that 3-4 minutes. You also get higher chance of Death rune in the chest so you recycle more efficiently (you may lose minds, but it is very cheap to replace, 300k cash will get you 15k minds no problem and it will last a hell long time) Ectophial is pretty much your only option of panic button/barrow restart button if you do not have a house with an altar AND Kharyrll Portal (which gets you straight to canafis), if you somehow got them, try and find a person with Mahogony Demon Lecturn and make 200 or so Teleport to house tablets, and trust me, it will make barrow runs a lot easier. Otherwise your stats should do fine. I still recommend you to pray on ALL the brothers on the first few trips to get yourself farmiliar with them, then you can try not praying against the 2 lesser melee brothers (you would still have to pray against ahrim, since your magic and defence is low)

actually its 10 + (first digit of your magic) I had 79 magic and i was hitting 17 max, when i leveled to 18, bam i started to hit 18's. Which makes it even better.

Mind + Death = Magic Dart, the best spell to use against barrows.

The ring is supposed to be Ring of Life The empty space in the inventory is deliberate, for space so i can equip arrows. I usually use my remaining prayer (after the nasty 3) on Ahrim, because he still hits me unusually hard (best record was 105 damage before i killed him, with my current stats and equip -.-) Lyre is to be replaced by tele tabs ^_^ i am chaning my equip however so i can do more runs before tele. now i do about 2 per trip (1 if i hit 10 0's on a brother, 3 if i am lucky)

Use a glass blowing pipe on a molten glass to make one, you need lv 49 crafting to make it for speed, leather, d hides or silver, take a pick.

There are a few reasons i can think of: 1. Burning is an issue, you burn quite a few (around 20% at about 70's cooking) monkfish, where as you dont burn any lobsters at the same level (with cooking gaunts). 2. It's way too far to get there for many people's liking. But i agree, it rules over lobsters anyday, i am my remaining lobsters as topping up food now.

Another Tip : If you did not encounter a brother until you come to a chest (and it hasnt appeared), switch to your prayer outfit, and drink the pot ONLY when a face of a brother you massacred earlier appears. this way you have the maximum amount of time for the same dose of prayer. You dont want to drink a dose only be drained by 13 because Verac's Helm popped up... Oh yeah, there is also something worth noting. The prayer drain frequency is the same regardless of the number of brothers you kill, however the drain strength is very simple : 8 + (number of brothers you have killed this trip). So if you have killed 3 brothers, each time a face shows up, its 11 out of your prayer, etc. There is about 5 spell casts between the drains. There you go, some (useless) technical info :P

its actually a screen shot saved as an image. Hit Print Screen, then paste into an image editor of your choice (i used mspaint), and edit it from there as you would with a normal image.

my drops were recorded for 6KC and all my results were recorded as accurately as possible. What my data shows that KC affects drops, but would it affect barrows is yet to be seen. EDIT : What i meant was there was NO drops from any of the categories (i had them there, but they were all 0's, so i deleted them) Recorded was a bad word, i rephrase it to "no drops from the above categories were observed"
