  1. depends on your definition of the word
  2. Then you might have players calling shenanigans on rewards because they chose 'poorly' and got 'poor' rewards...
  3. All FF games are very standalone, IE you do NOT need to play any of the games in any order, except: FF X-2, you'll need to play X to know a couple of background stories (AFAIK) and FF XIII, it has 3 parts: XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning returns Beyond that, none of the different number FF have anything to do with each other (to the point where it's hard to determine whether they even take place in the same universe, but there are lot of common elements, such as Spirit names like Bahamut, Leviatan, Shiva etc, and spell names.
  4. You are all younglings and you are complaining you are getting old? Get to my age and you'll begging NOT to be called old lol
  5. Damn it, Someone stole my idea, I had the staff made several days ago! For those wondering, I don't actually grind my fragments, at all. Assuming that they keep the number of available weapon reskins at 6, that means 6000 fragments are needed. It takes 2 hours or so at the battlefield to get 2k tears (thats my daily target since I am aiming for everything on both sides). I only kill all of the stray ones that gets ignored by most people, and I easily get 100 fragments a day. with that, I'd get 6000 fragments earlier than I get enough tears for everything. (It'll take me 66 days, or 131k tears for both sides, at 100 frags a day, I'll be done on day 60) Basically, my advice is, unless you really do not plan to return to battlefield, grinding for fragments is actually rather pointless, it's very easy to get them all in time.
  6. I would have just charged every player who wishes to use Duke's options by actually paying the initial 200k from them, then use the cost thing, so they KNOW it's the coffers being charged, not anything else (of course, late comers only needs to pay for the remaining coffer).
  7. Not to mention the fact that you are just paying for accuracy... Although I am slightly more inclined to believe that Drygores drop too easily (probably makes sense somewhat because he is the first t90 boss, but... not really).
  8. I'd be surprised if the treasury do not go bankrupt at the very earliest opportunity.
  9. Because: 1. Lack of a t75 off hand (EE is only t72), making it inferior to the easily accessible Saradomin sword or Bandos Godsword (Vine whip needs a t75 off hand to be on par with them). 2. The existence of Chaotic weapons and especially Drygore weapons, both of which are vastly superior to Vine whip. To add salt upon wound, Drygores are buyable and tradeable. 3. With exception of Chaotic weapons, none of the above mentioned requires anything besides the combat stats required to wield them
  10. I do not have that luxury, both my dad and my mum's phone were both picked by themselves, and I don't have one (work prohibits any mobiles, especially ones with camera), yet I am pretty much responsible for all their phone woes...
  11. They already were hitting hard after the second Obsidian armor update. They hit hard even through PoP armor these days.
  12. Maybe not replace the tank pop armor outright, but perhaps give an option to be able to convert such pop armor into power armor. ~Tim "Speaking of power armor, anyone seen my T-51B...?" ChenW2
  13. Not entirely accurate. For staves yes, a chunk of the damage is tied to weapon level, for dual wield, the main hand part almost certainly isn't
  14. The style matching isn't very important once you are in the t80 region, i'd aim for things you dont have any substitute for, such as Chaotic Staff and off hand chaotic Crossbow are both better choices than another main hand Melee chaotic weapon. If you want to use Chaotic melee, Buy either a Maul or buy 10 spikes for Chaotic Claws (it takes 5 spikes for each hand), which both are better choices than CRapier mainhand. And welcome back Jesse
  15. I was never disputing that fact (I agree, magic IS awesome), I was using Drygores as a reason why Chaotics are not used anymore by listing its own numerous advantages over other two style's equivalent T90 weapons.
  16. Damage is unaffected by Wand level, strangely enough. Only off hand affects it You were saying that drygores replace these. I believe the loss in accuracy from virtus to ahrims is lower than the loss in accuracy from virtus to drygore in a situation when accuracy bonus is important. And if you think that drygores would still be better dps then you phrased your point badly because you were comparing prices.Masters wand is not really inaccurate for slayer. I never ever said Drygore replaced them, I was saying Drygores, for what it is capable of and comparing similar equipment between classes, is actually dirt cheap, because Drygore has the accuracy of T90 vs the Accuracy of T80 of a Virtus wand, and they have practically the same cost.
  17. Certainly won't work here, we care very little about the races to the point taht some do not even understand the concept of racism
  18. Banned because thats what I always wanted to do
  19. Yes, 7 hours in Bowl, 9 in pincer, for normal voyages. (assuming capped speed)
  20. *cannot help notice the stark difference between the super mod blog threads... Q ended up being discussion forum about some mechanics of the game, while this one we are calling each other names, literally*
  21. Master wand has crap accuracy and Ahrim's is just not accurate enough for higher level boss things. Virtus wand was pretty much behind the whole Barrage every slayer task, since it was accurate enough to hit everything on the task list.
  22. Banned for banning someone who didn't ban someone else on the thread for banning another person E: 20000x Banned DVD for ninja'ing my ban
