  1. 71, it's multiplicative. But I thought merchants and FoTS no longer affected Story rewards? Or at least I have heard.....
  2. Banned because no, but at the frequency which s/he does it.
  3. Banned for dissappearing and then reappearing without informing us beforehand, regardless of whether it is actually possible to do or not. Also, banned again for changing avatar, again.
  4. Koln I know it's not english, but I am out of words at this point...
  5. Which is my problem with the portrayal of Saradomin as a god. An imperfect god is merely some random person of a random unknown race who happen to wield more power than majority of the people and seeks to control the lesser beings. Which in my eyes, is just another person with human qualities, and if you remove his power, he will be once again, just another random leader. Makes the lore more interesting sure, but makes me unable to distinguish a god or a normal person whose only difference to mortals is the power he/she/it wields. To this extent, I would much rather follow a god who has been consistent with his actions than one who has been seesawing back and forth, making him extremely unpredictable. Saradomin, in my opinion, fits that category completely, and so does Sliske, Leading me to believe that Saradomin can be actually more dangerous than Zamorak (at least Zamorak lets it be known he wants chaos, nothing more).
  6. Banned because his gun can never be big enough
  7. most likely because you will never see the bar again after the quest.
  8. Wands/Books are few and far inbetween, After Grifolic wand/orb (T60), there is Ahrim/Wand of treachery and Ahrim's Book (T70), the set costs a good 20m, then Virtus Wand/Book (T80), set costs 200M or so, then Seismic Wand/Singularity (T90), which is around 1 billion last time I checked (The wand alone is more expensive than a set of Drygores and a set of Ascension Crossbows combined). There are literally no other choices in between. Drygores pretty much makes most other melee weapons obsolete, except maybe Balmung, and then only if it is upgraded post quest.
  9. They are T90, which is currently the highest tier in the game at the moment (Ranged, Melee and Magic), with 150m, you can afford a set of drygores, but you can't afford even a MH ranged or magic with that money, thus, the best choice in your scenario would be Drygores without a doubt. Virtus wand and book, while it has the damage potential of a T90 (since its damage are from spells, not from weapon itself), has only T80 accuracy (though this is of nearly no consequence in slayer), and is still out of your budget at the moment, although only slightly (170m for the set last time i checked). With regards to port, there isn't a strictly most efficient way to do things, but you should get your fourth ship unlocked, as well as have 3 Judges and Jade merchants hired (JoD is very useful, and merchant is mandatory), although with the recent storyline nerf, you can knock it down to 2 until you finish all stories in Pincer, then hire a 3rd one again. Also, build Luxurious bar, and don't miss any scrolls.
  10. 1. Skill capes remain the best all around capes, but for specific styles it is beaten by: Magic: God cape Melee: Fire cape and TokHaar-Kal Ranged: Ava's Alerter 2. Excalibur was recently nerfed to t72, so that combination no longer works compared to whats available. Dual wield has been updated that it is generally considered to be superior to 2h in most cases (not so much for ranged weapons, dual and 2h are relatively equal). With your cash pile you can just about afford a pair of Drygore maces, which are the best melee weapons available at the moment. Royal Crossbow is still good, though Ascension crossbows are a tier higher (you probably won't be able to afford a set with 150m). I haven't done any testing with staves, but for most intents and purposes, if you have T70 or higher wand and book, use that over any staff. GWD armor sets (Nex armors, Bandos, Armadyl and Subjugation) are quite good with the damage boost, and Nex sets are considered to be the best all around armor. I'd put priority in weapons over armors though as weapons give bigger upgrades. 3. Nope, no new ones since the release of EoC 4. Battlefield is the fastest way to get tears, by a long shot. Skilling with mixed killing random strays is what I do, and I average over 1k tears an hour (granted, I only get 2k tears a day, since the last 1k takes about as long as the 2k, and I only need 2k a day). 5. No idea, but Dwarf weed have taken the crown for being the most expensive herb in the game, with lantadymes being second. Torstol is now only 3rd place.
  11. Which lets me think that he still has the "if you are not with me, you are against me and you should die" mentality left from his young god days. In fact, the whole reason why he chose Sir Owen sounded iffy to me. He chose him because he was willing to sacrifice himself, so... you want people die for you? (Maybe he only wanted his devotion to get the job done, and used the wrong reference instead :S)
  12. Banned for correcting a typo that did not need correcting. One does not simply correct a typo to make it go away.
  13. exactly, and the wand is pretty much an accuracy stick.
  14. Wand does, book doesn't apparently. Gonna test it out again a bit later for its latest mechanism About 2 weeks ago I was wracking with Virtus wand with fire surge equipped, and I was critting for above 1200's, which isn't possible if V wand capped the damage at t80 (it would have been around 1100 instead). Edit: Just tested it using combust on dummies with fire surge (which is a t90 spell in damage), using Virtus wand and 99 magic (which has a theoretical damage of 963), combust was doing 192 damage per hit, for 5 hits (which totals 960 damage, pretty much bang on the theoretical t90 spell damage). Rechecked the damage with Ahrim Wand, Grifolic wand and Rosethorn wand 6 (T70, 60 and 50 respectively), the damage did not change, it was still 192 damage per hit for 5 hits, all totaling 960 damage, exactly the same as virtus wand. Which shows that wand tier does not affect damage contribution from the main hand in anyway. Checking with books: With virtus wand and book, i was doing 285 damage per tick, totalling 1425 damage. My theoretical t90 damage for my spells is 963*1.5 = 1444.5, so the difference became 19 points. Using an Ahrim book with virtus wand, I did 275 damage for 5 hits, totalling 1375, equipping ahrim wand and book has the same damage. Equipping Grifolic orb got me 264 damage. So in essence, the damage difference between the orbs totaled around 50, roughly the damage difference of off hand weapon between tiers.
  15. Note, that table is from before they corrected the problem that signets didn't drop if the drop pile was on a grating (or so I believe), which has been corrected.

    92: The Dax of Chivalry.

not port max score yet? 0/10 :P
  17. Use the money to buy GWD armor for now (work on getting PoP armor so you can do stuff like QBD etc easier) concentrate on getting t90 weapon of your choice (Virtus wand and book is a valid choice though, considering it has t90 damage capability, albeit only t80 accuracy), then worry about getting Nex armor after you have obtained T90 weapon.
  18. 52 scrolls is enough for admiral with 3 stories down.
