  1. That is one large stack of energies there lio, are you converting all your memories into energy?
  2. Also the more difficult steel missions are better for steel per % success, EG the 700 steel missions will be better in the long run than 450, etc.
  3. Punch it into your calculator, (9.6*90) = 864, 864+99 = 963. The auto attack at the start of the fight is rarely an issue, because that auto attack should only really happen if you are fighting something with low HP AND they are spaced far enough apart that no matter where you kill them you have to move between two monsters. otherwise there should rarely occur. Autoattack damage is also calculated differently from Abilities damage, Autoattack damage is generally dealt "as it says on the tin", which makes T70 weapons deal full t90 damage on auto attacks, on the virtue that all Wand/Orb weapons take their damage entirely from spells itself with little modifiers, while staves have auto scale built in there somewhere, which makes wand/orb pretty much always better in average DPS than staves given the same spell. Abilities are a completely different matter, because the complicated calculations that is required in order to bring weapons of all speeds on the same DPS.
  4. But at least you don't waste time making the Juju pots. It's faster to make the signs than it is to make the juju pots in large quantities.
  5. Concentrated blast's main advantage is only realised if you use it exactly like Sonic wave, because in that time concentrated blast hits twice, making it essentially a 200% spell damage instant ability, which makes it vastly superior to sonic wave's 120% damage. Edit: the 10 levels of difference is actually closer to 3 levels of difference, if you talk about it from purely damage point of view (it's more complicated if you take accuracy into account). The basic gist of magic damage is that if you equip a t90 damage spell, only the 'off-hand' part of your staff or DW damage is actually scaled to the level of the weapon, the other 'main-hand' part is not. Therefore the real difference in damage between Ahrims and Chaotic staff is only truely 33% of 10 levels, which is about 3 levels worth of damage. Given that 66% of the damage is based on t90 damage, that 3-4 levels difference is comparatively drowned out (It's effectively the difference between t87 for chaotic staff vs t83 for Ahrim's Wand/Book). If the 80% damage boost from concentrated blast accounts for more than 5% increase in raw DPS, then Ahrim's Wand and book, Raw DPS wise, will be better than chaotic staff. I do not have actual figures for the DPS difference between 2h and dw (given the same rotation barring Sonic wave/conc blast), but I imagine it to be comparatively high as concentrated blast should be the second most used ability, right after wrack (but it is a distant second).
  6. Nope, Saradomin's side voted for that one. Zamorak players strengthened their champion instead. I know, I was just being silly/
  7. I got the corrupted one as well, and my version is, or at least I think it was, that Saradomin was to keep the wand, and he will give it to Sir Owen when he is ready for it (I think the ready was for getting his affairs in order). [hide] How I got there was: 1. Being on Sara's side at the time when the quest started 2. Stood up to him when Owen kneeled 3. Got Owen to give the blood 4. Refuse to give Saradomin the wand 5. Saradomin becomes angry and gives a demonstration that Guthix's power didn't actually protect you fully from other God's powers, you were still affected by some, just not all 6. Saradomin resurrects Sir owen anyway, and notices that his entire right arm is corrupted [/hide] I got the very exact opposite ending to what I had hoped for (I had hope Saradomin would not get the wand and Sir Owen escape unscathed). Needless to say, the amount of Centaurs appearing on the battlefield (I have seen 4 at the same time), is most likely the work of the Wand, considering Zamorak still only has 1 demon at a time.
  8. Quick question. Does the battle of lumbridge event end at the start of week 10 or at the end of week 10? (IE is there another 27 days or 34 days left?)
  9. Awesome, I had hoped that the Juju was going to be actually useable once, but once again, the idea gets thrown out the window...
  10. I have basically no opinion on the matter, since I will not use the porter nor the juju potion for mining, and I have not used Juju potions either. I super heat gold ores and drop the gold bars, and therefore the old juju potion was worthless to me since I don't want to bank the ores. And because I don't want my ores banked, Porters are useless to me in mining. I know I can probably find other uses for porters elsewhere after I hit 99's, where as Juju mining would have been useless to me once I hit 99 mining and smithing (applies to both old or new). two questions though: 1. How long do the new Juju last? 2. Does the smithing XP affect gold smelting? As in 10% extra on the 56.2xp?
  11. From what I have read, the armor's damage bonus do not work outside of Tzhaar, since the bonus only works against Tzhaar. Only the helm is required to gain the accuracy in your respective attack type. Also the damage bonus only works if you are on a task while wearing the helm, otherwise only accuracy is increased. As far as I am aware it increases ability damage and Auto attacks . The way it degrades is that (at least the last time I used it) is whenever you receive a red splat, there is a 50% chance that the armor will degrade by one charge (not sure if blue splats now also decreased the charges, I know before it didn't, making it decay very slowly). The pieces are checked individually (IE on any given hit, some pieces may not degrade, while others may, thus you will end up having different charges on each piece, even if you started with the set on the same charge and took the same number of hits). After reading Wiki on it, I am starting to think Obsidian armor may not actually be worth it, according to them, the set only lasts 3-4 kilns (before the 3rd update it could last 10 kilns, easily). This is entirely my uninformed opinion though, I have not been back inside the kiln since the 3rd update, I'll update this if I get a chance to do kiln this weekend with the armor.
  12. It seems more like we need to invest in prescription glasses for them, I know the desert is a wasteland similar to the battlefield one, but if they can't spot the laser light show and the glowing green vortex flanked by gods, there must be something wrong with their eyes. I mean, that sort of thing shouldn't be hard to miss. Perhaps we got discount druids? Or perhaps we got clerical error that the druids though the threat of the gods are coming from the desert gods like Amascut, that goddess means business. Or.... it could even be conspiracy from druids part, let the fighting spill out onto the lumbridge while feigning warding against different god threat, and let Gielinor kill each other and the druids can rebuild the world again... Am I crazy yet?
  13. Banned for thinking you deserve to have an ultraball (TBH even the red Pokeball is pushing it).
  14. Just restarted playing Saints Row the third after abandoning it after the first mission, while I was playing it, I didn't appreciate the fact how outrageous it was until I looked back on the mission, I just finished act 1 and made some progress into Act 2. I think I enjoyed driving a Tank the most.
  15. Subjugation and armadyl are still usable for 2h weapons, a wand/book isn't very necessary as long as you have a decent staff (but Book and wand is still quite a bit better). If I were you, I'd probably sell armadyl and use the money to get a set of Ahrim Wand/book and use that to slay things that isn't weak to melee (since those are resistant to magic, T70 might not hit well on them). A decent staff such as Armadyl Staff is also pretty good from accuracy point of view. Magic is also the only combat style that has its damage scale to your level rather than entirely on your gear (assuming you use abilities) EDIT: edited out some typoes
  16. Hybriding and Hybrid armor are two completely different ideas. Hybrid armor is one where it is not particularly strong or weak against any of the 3 styles. Hybriding is the act of bringing at least 2 of Ranged, Magic or Melee to a particular boss.
  17. I'd still do Superheating if you are going with the LRC rocks, it's a lot less afkable (by comparison you can semi-afk both LRC and gold smelthing), but takes a lot less time than doing the two separately. The only gripe with it is that instead of being able to sell the gold bars, you are down 1 nature rune per gold ore (unless you bank the gold ores, in which you are down maybe 50 gp per gold ore). But at the end of the day it should total no more than about 120k nature runes, which is around 25M or so in cash. It shouldn't be particularly difficult to earn that cash in the same you'd save if you super heated the ores instead (you could save several weeks worth of play time, plenty of time to earn that money).
