Xuan in game now has a button that links directly to SGS without the need to logout, also, his shop now only has recolors and Auras. Edit: SGS doesn't seem to have been updated so far. In fact I can't see anything that has changed.

That's certainly the theory, and probably nearly true when it comes down to actual weapon damage, but was wondering if the same can be said about weapons. Basically, it boils down to this: I am torn between sticking to my Royal Crossbow, go back and buy a set of Virtus off GE again, or even blow money on a pair of Ascension Crossbows. This is mostly for slaying purposes only and general killing, with bit of bossing on the side too (mostly QBD). Drygores isn't on the menu due to BoL being extremely unfriendly to melee, especially if competition is involved, at least not yet. Also wanted to check if my hunch of Magic being better than Ranged was just a delusion or was there any substance to it.

Given everything else is equal (same tier, same +damage, same weapon type, not fighting something with a special weakness to either), in general, is Ranged or Magic better?

Personally I avoid any and all XP rewards, especially if the event is time limited. Items may not be useful, Emotes may do nothing in the long run, but I choose them because I know summoning XP isn't going anywhere anytime soon, if I am going to spend the time to do it, may as well do it in something I can show off later.

And also because ascension crossbows are still more expensive than Virtus wand/book.

More like throwing a wrench into their heads, you cannot control how many tears you dump, therefore if one needs to get more renown, they have absolutely no choice but to dump everything they have into the pool, which means a lot of that tear that is meant for the otherside is saying Sayonara! I think i am lucky in that I lost only 3800 tears, so I just bought 3 extra large lamps for the road. If it is any consolation, the higher level tier emotes and titles do not need the lower levels to be purchased, the t3 emote looks a lot better than t1 or t2 for sure.

I think some people have just wept at the fact that cost of the capes went up by 500. Not many people will see why it's such a big deal, it is for those who happen to have just the right amount of Renown stocked, and have a stack of tears in their inventory, now they are short, and cannot deposit any tears into the pool, since it deposits all your tears. I myself have lost 3800 tears because of that, though the f2p'ers have it much worse. Which leads me to believe that jagex purposefully increased the cost just to combat against the guys who stocked tears... 500 increase seems extremely pointless.

A generally accepted ratio is 5 of each single stat crew, 3 judges, 3 merchants and 4 oxheads. Once you progressed far enough into pincers (basically when you don't need any of the normal resources), i'd fire one of the single stats for a 4th merchant, unless you are after slayer xp that the assassin offers.

Just started Saints row 4, wanted to see what it was like before I go and complete SR3 completely. If you think the last mission in the Johnny tag quest line is fun, SR4 is full of it.

I skipped the lower ones because my work schedule only allows me to send two rounds of ships a day, and if i send for anything lower than jade, i'd be unable to send out another steel in time for the second round (my first and second is more or less 9-10h apart from each other). Plus, I think if you fail a voyage and the game took resources from lower resource based on a ratio, which meant that you could waste several voyages by just failing one, therefore, I skipped them. Plus i was only really interested in getting steel.

That begs the question, why not just alch it instead?

Hmm... considering i managed to sell virtus (including wand/book) post update at above ge price, i think i had it easy... too easy bizzarely, I also only have the gloves left to sell, which I doubt it will at this stage lol.

Why dont zamorak just take control of Soulgazers and unleash them on RS? pretty sure that would knock out a very large % of the player base.

I got lucky and managed to off load my t80 magic weapons and armor at above GE med price (only virtus gloves didn't instantly sell). Now I am pretty much torn between getting Drygore/Torva or Assbows/Pernix.

GF pretty anything none-drygores...
