Haha, epic. I only get left halves when they're rarer than expensive drops; my 2 came from a dust devil and graardor^^

I personally have the following blocked: - Iron dragons: Slow xp, hard to reach, bad drops - Steel dragons: Same thing - Hellhounds: No drops at all; also hard to reach when you don't have 80 Agility - Warped terrorbirds: Too annoying for me to be worthwhile. A lot of people will agree on this one. Tasks I often skip: - Kalphite: Awful drops and really crowded. Good to cannon though. - Greater demons: Decent xp and charms but there is only one good spot and therefore too crowded. - Black dragons: Baby dragons are too spread out in the locations they recide and regular black dragons are even worse than steel dragons. Soloing the KBD is fun though. - Scarabites: They're decent xp and good crimson charms but they're really hectic and a come in small tasks only. Don't block waterfiends! They are the best crimson charm droppers ingame and with high combat stats you can get up to 100 crimsons an hour if you piety. Even without it's still really fast. Nothing like finishing a big task and see those 150 crimsons in your inventory.

As said before, step in when you feel like it. This usually comes after you've gained a basic understanding of the game and have done the F2P quests. Once you start encountering stuff that's members only and you have the feeling that it's holding you back in your adventures, subscribe. It will only get better.

Construction is so rare because there is no other point to it than a fancy house that nobody will see. Other than that no big surprises. I need to get a rarer skillcape :P

Melee has warhammers, longswords, swords, daggers that aren't dragon, maces, halberds, some obsidian crap and a whole bunch of other stuff I can't even think of at the moment. Melee sucks?

This guy is right. You will be protecting from ranged so the main damage will come from Krees magic attacks. So mage defence> Melee defence.

Why don't they remove +1 worlds entirely? Completely unnecessary. Don't bring things to the wild you don't want to lose Because losing 400-500k in rune armour is acceptable but losing your 3m whip every death is not? Not to mention other weapons. Don't make statements like that if you're not a PKer.

My suggestion? Do a lot of instances, they're really fun. The mid-20 levels are the most annoying to play through because you don't have the skills to turn the tide of the battle around when things go bad but the mobs are pretty hard. Well at least they were on my mage. Anywho there isn't much to suggest because you'll level really fast and leveling is a pretty straightforward process. One thing I really recommend you to do is drop leatherworking for mining or herbalism. LW gives you very little advantages (if any) over quest gear and it is much better to sell your leather. Combined with mining/ herbalism you'll have your first 1000 gold in no time. Trust me you'll have a lot more fun with flying at level 60 and dual spec at level 40. If you really want leatherworking level it when you are level 80. Most gear crafted can either be assisted by someone who already has 450 leatherworking or is outclassed by heroic dungeon drops. The only real advantage of leatherworking is an item enhancement exclusive to lvl 450 leatherworkers but you shouldn't worry about that unless you're really hardcore into raiding.

Also proselyte on every task that doesn't require high defence like Nechs and Gargoyles.

One minute per level. It's like super potions.

No matter how good Mechscape is I don't see myself giving up my 2030 total level account for it.
