That just doesn't sound very RPG-ish. And it's impossible to make a quest hard because of the whine that would follow. The only hard thing in this entire game that isn't hard because of high lvl reqs (Armadyl gwd) or massive grinding (99 Runecrafting) is getting the fire cape and even that's debatable. Imagine the whine when the fire cape becomes the requirement for a quest.

People who get addicted to cocaine (using this doesn't necessarily mean you're addicted although the risk is much higher than with pot or xtc) and heroin (stay away :P ) have almost always smoked pot first but there is no way that it is the cause. You already summed up some other pretty good examples of why it's a bad argument^^ Why it should be legalized? Its effects are a lot less severe than alcohol. It's also much more controllable. You smoke too much pot and you don't want to smoke another joint. You feel it a lot faster than with alcohol. You drank too much? You haven't realised it yet, bring on the whiskey! And half an hour later you're lying in the gutter vomiting your guts out.

Proselyte in mage pray would be your best bet. I had excactly the same problem. The special is not used often and is hardly a nuisance. Oh and use a zamorakian spear on stab mode.

But the people who woodcut and fish for money aren't the people buying high end armour. The people who do buy that armour monsterhunt themselves. Those same people buy the very expensive dragon bones and runes for getting prayer and summoning/ magic up. They're not buying fish or other low level resources unless they offer a very good method for training a skill like dragon bones, green dragonhides and death runes. And merciful, most people who get a 99 use the fastest method available. For example, cutting ivy and barbarian fishing. You could also fish sharks or chop yews but those things are very slow compared to the fastest methods.

Everything rose in price. That's inflation. A RS gold coin is worth less than it used to be. But because everything is more expensive now it doesn't matter. Skills may have gotten more expensive even with taking inflation into account but that's a continuation of a trend that started the moment skill capes were introduced. People want their capes and they're willing to pay for them. EDIT/ The only people who are annoyed by inflation are those who accumulated a decent cashpile before the PVP update and now see it become worth less every day. Everyone else who whines just don't get the concept of inflation.

They are only too slow because your combat is too low by the way. Once you have around 85 85 85 they are the fastest option unless you decide to burst rock lobster.

1) Karamja - Tele to shilo is awsome. 2) Varrock - Battlestaves are nice but the furnace in Edgeville is the thing I enjoy the most now that I am smithing a lot. There are actually people there unlike in Port Phasmatys. 3) Lumby - Great for Farming. That's about it though. 4) Fally - I wear the shield when farming and sometimes I use the pray recharge when I cbf to run to an altar. 5) Seers - I can't even remember what it does. Major fail 6) Relleka - The tele to that area is nice but I have my house there which is more convenient. I've never used it. I don't do MTK also. When I stop smithing gold and move on to addy plates I can see the ardy cape take number 2 though, that +6 stab and +6 pray look nice. The watchtower teleport inside the city walls deserves a tie with 1 but unless I'm mistaken that's a reward for the elites amongst us.

Wow, high level content. Great Jagex, I love it. Really. But 93 Summoning? 90 (or what is it) Smithing? You got to be kidding me. The entire diary can be done with only a couple of skill requirements above 60. And the highest requirement is 71 Magic. Then they skip all the levels between 70 and 90 and work from there. How about some 80 reqs? It's a bad move but oh well it gives me something to work for. Not that I will ever get 93 Summoning.

Good thing Jagex did not make the description of the what the reward does vague! That's what forums are for.

I think I had like 17 :P Awsome quest though, it was pretty challenging at my combat level back then. The problem with quests is that a lot of people have flat 90+ melees. If Jagex wants to make a quest that's challenging for those people the majority of the players just won't be able to finish it.

I can't think of any task where using a unicorn would be a huge help. Get 88 as you gather your charms, but don't go out of your way for it.

Well Smithing makes you no money and is a prestige skill so yes, it would be worth it for the cape.

Well since Jagex classed the dragon pickaxe quest as "hard" I think we will now get a noob quest.

Get 3 more mage levels and use charge+ a god spell. You hit almost as high as with veracs and it's a lot more accurate.

7 strength/attack/defence levels and possibly 45s with ice barrage> One additional max hit from imbued rings. You can't even compare the two.
