What are the qualities of a good community? I have been a part of the RuneScape community for over 4 years. During my time playing RuneScape i have seen over 4 generations of players. As many of you are aware, the RS community isn't as it once was. Im not going to rant about how bad it is. I am simply looking for an explanation, why do things change the way they do? Was it the discovery of manipulation? Scamming for example? Was it the lose of virtue in the common player? Im not going to get into virtue, for there is no one definition of it, as any of you that have read "The Dialogue's of Plato" know. It seems that something has set the community astray. Instead of the once always welcoming friendly atmosphere I once knew, it seems that true friends and the quality of people as a whole are in a serious dearth. Maybe it is the desire to have a word, or even a sentance, in the story of RuneScape, that causes people to ignore character, kindness, or generousity? I challenge you to your very core, are you yourself a true player of virtue? Do you pocess the qualities that truelly contribute to the common good of a community, thee community? Furthermore I ask one thing of you, on your every day life in RuneScape can you find the time to do ONE thing that you wouldnt normally do. Wether it is helping a new player out, making a new friend, being nice to someone, congratulating someone on a level-up, doing something with a friend, etc. I beleive we CAN change the community, wether it be one deed at a time, or changing the way a person thinks or acts. All I ask is that you do ONE thing that can contribute, wether it be small or large, to the community. Be nice to someone! Lend a helping hand! Do something with a friend! CONTRIBUTE! HAVE COURAGE! On topic, it is often a common thing that you get deaths and chaos runes from your chest, but i doubt that you will have enough concurrent chests to stay there on 70 deaths and what not, the real point of the argument is that when using Slayer Dart at barrows it is in the end, more efficient, because; a) You often get deaths and minds as a reward. b)It hits harder and possibly more often than fire bolt. c)By hitting harder you use less food, prayer pots, and runes. d)By hitting harder your runs also go faster.

:XD: good jokes. that was pure luck. as everybody who started at rsc knows that at time using accurate granted +3 attack lvls, agressive +3 strength, defensive +3 defence lvls, and controlled +1 to every. not sure if its still like this, but im pretty sure it is. what to come for hits, once i heard that +4 str bonus raises your max hit by 1, and 7str levels by 1. i am NOT sure if they are the truth. sorry to break you duke, they have exactly same hitting speed, as mentioned 10's of times before in this thread. ------------------------------------------------ Q: why is people buying infinitys? A: dharoks are effective only with full set, and they are counting off plate, legs, weapon, shield and helm slots. with whip, you can have fighter torso, defender, berseker helm, some ÃÆÃâÃâüber cool panties and the whip itself wielded, and still hit with double speed compared to dharoks Sorry to break it to YOU dude, but you are wrong, as i have seen it with my own eyes hundreds of times. The whip is the fastest weapon in the game next to the dragon dagger.

There is one reason you are wrong, the bonuses. The whip for example has a higher str bonus and it gives an 82+ slash bonus, which means you hit more often. Where as the d scimmy has a 67+ slash bonus, not making it a very accurate weapon.

Another one was a trade screen item scam, lost my great axe to it. Another one was when i let another friend borrow my whip and d sqr, which at the time was about 10m of items. There is more i just dont quite remember them right now

Its ultimately up to you to stay determined... i never thought it reasonable to take one skill and go 99 with it all the way... i like to spread around my training.
