400watt, which any computer with a PCI-Express slot will probably have. + A 450 watt PSU that is pretty good costs around $40. A 7600GT isn't worth the money in comparison to a 7900GT. 128-bit memory interface vs 256-bit memory interface 16 pipelines vs 24 pipelines (Essential in shaders) Often same watt requirements, although the 7600GT sometimes requires 350W. 6600GT is a little baby, it has 8 pipelines, and can't do shading worth a crap. Turning on dynamic lighting in most games drops my FPS 1/10th of what it was before.. (120 to 15fps on Darkplaces.)

You can host a server yourself.

Bad for the money, because you can get a 7900GT for around $60-70 more.. which has many more pipelines and features and raw processing power. I don't suggest ATI.. nVidia all the way IMO.

I said, Visual C++ the IDE/Compiler sucks. Anyways, I prefer C over C++. Closer to the machine, you can use inline assembly, etc. C++ isn't any more powerful than C.. it's just a implementation to make things easier than C.

A 7600GT is a bad choice for the price. I'd go with the newer line of 6600GT's (OpenGL 2.0, 256mb, Pixel Shader 2.0, etc) Which is like $130 Will probably play on medium. I have the first revision of a 6600GT, OpenGL 1.5, 128mb, etc. It plays Quake 4 on high, I'm happy. BF2 plays on a mix between high and medium. Or A 7900GT for $270. This game should run BF2 pretty close to maxed if the rest of your system is good enough. For a sound card, I have an Audigy 2. This sound card cost me $50 and I'm extremely happy with it. Usually onboard sound is DX9 compliant.

I think you mean Hard Drive space. Memory (RAM) is a whole different thing. Anyway, I suggest spending $300-450 on a new computer, keep the monitor, etc. That computer sounds too old to be upgraded to semi-modern standards. Sorry.

You need a webhost. If you want a SERIOUS webhost you'll need to pay monthly/annually/etc. Though http://xthost.info/ is great if you don't need a whole lot of space and don't need php. 30mb of space, no ads/crap. Instant registration.

Cannibal Corpse - They are almost as heavy as it gets. They did a cover of Black Sabbath's Zero the Hero and made them look like helium. I'll listen to as heavy as it goes. Honestly I just can't find any heavier than Cannibal Corpse. Six Feet Under has a former Cannibal Corpse member, but then again Corpsegrinder is just as good IMO. =P~

I hate Tupac, considering for every decent song (Which is him talking into a microphone) he has five that are about hatred/etc. He should give 90% of the credit to the computer generating the beats in the background. No fan of any of his lyrics either. I've heard much more inspiring poems from children.
