There were a group of people who lived in the Middle East. A prophet named Abraham came and got them. He said that God called them the chosen ones. He led them to Canaan. Moses then rescued all the Israelites (The people), and led them across the Red Sea, what you hear of when you hear Moses Parted the Red Sea. Anyway.. Then the Israelites wandered back and I believe it was Moses went to go and get the 10 Commandments while the rest of the Israelites worshiped a golden calf and were forced by god to wander the desert for 40 days. Anyway, Hanukkah - Jews were in a temple (I think it was while they were in Egypt/Maybe Jerusalem) and I think for some reason they were trapped in there. So they were trapped in there with a candle and enough oil to burn for 1 day. But it burned for 8 days! It's a miracle! (YES, HANUKKAH IS ONE OF THE MOST MINOR HOLIDAYS OF THE JEWISH CALENDAR.) -That was written by me, I don't know much about Judaism, the history at least, so correct me when you find parts that are wrong or out of order. I do know how to read Hebrew and I can recite the Torah Service! \ Haha, great story. 8-) I can't tell you if anything's accurate or not, but sounded entertaining.
