Edgevill is soo much easier, I mean, its the top teleport on the glory ammy, what else do you need :lol: Anyway, Edge has a range, it has a few areas for firemaking in straight lines, it has the wilderness, which provides hours of entertainment, whether your pking or watching. You can fletch, and sell your yew longs to pures alching, You can sell pots to pkers for herblore. Edge is just a hub of different things poured into one. When people get barrows drops, they go there to show it to their friends, when people get a level that is an accomplishment, they usually get it at edgevill if possible. Edge is the closest spot to the wilderness with a bank (aside from mage bank, which is IN the wilderness) so it is usefull for people who kill green dragons, do wilderness clues, rune craft via the abbys, and of course PK. Im sure there is more, but that was the major stuff.

Great and detailed guide, but I would like to add my 2 cents on your veracs guide. I would highly suggest just bringing dragonhide just for ahrim. Seeing the way you put it in your guide you melee him with full veracs on, afterwords your melee stats would be in the gutter, making it impossible to pull multiple trips unless you use super restores rather than prayer pots. Oh, and with the veracs method, the fire cape trumps the prayer cape, +1 to crush attack, +4 str, and +2 prayer beats +4 prayer when you take in the massive prayer bonus full veracs gives. All other methods its up in the air though :mrgreen: Once again, loved the guide :D

You could complete your goal in like a month +some Good luck.

Lmao this whole thread makes me laugh like the jesus. since when did people NOT eat when fighting...since when did people NOT run when dying? only time people SOMETIMES did not was in DEATHMATCHES and (where u cant) duel arena... since the beginning of rs people run.... Now logging, thats diffrent. Its obvious you know nothing of the topic. This is not about eating when pking, its about keeping your hp almost toped off so the fight ends up being a waste of time and money. What is supposed to happen at my level edge pking is people have to keep their hp at 60ish (more for dhers) and if they see a dds they imediately chomp down 2 sharks. When i pk, im usually hovering around 80 hp at the start due to the recent fights, when you pot, you can be at higher hp. since you only use 1-2 doses of a super set when fighting (im talking about potting mid fight, it can win the fight for your, or make you loose) this could be used for some nice bonus hp, which can save you.

From what i remember about the other 'fiends, they are not really reknown for their drops. And the only reason i could possibly see for putting the brutals there are to halt the old "its impossible to get green hides yourself without going into the wilderness". As i said before, its been a classic argument since '04 for sure. If they would put regular green dragons outside of the wild it would be packed. This is to halt the arguments and put that rant to rest for good. The brutals arnt that hard anyway, I could take out 12 tops in a trip, for a lvl 227 monster, thats to be expected.

My stats (the sig isnt updated) are: 98 attack, 99 def, 86 st, 83 magic. I killed 1 dragon in the method you mentions (black draghide, whip, anti melee prayer) - but the magic hited often and hard, so im afraid i wont be able to kill more then 2 in a trip in this method. does anyone know how strong is their melee attack? (including max hit) I said im 99 att and str, im also 87 def and 97 magic. People will get different results than me. I also used karils, which has significantly more mage defense (or its significant to me). People will always get mixed results, but maging i killed 4 a trip, and my range is too low to bother with ranging. id say the best ways to go are ranging or meleeing, but thats my personal opinion.

Well, i dont see how making things harder lacks logic. I was getting bored with the game. DKing was too easy (a tad harder with the diagonal walking, still fairly easy), Barrows is insanally easy, KQ is a joke, Ive even meleed jad. Once youve done that each plenty of times the hardest things in the game seem boring rather than difficult. This place is not my idea of fun, but you wont see me complaining its easy. 1) Wyverns were easy before the update, although time consuming. I could kill 50+ in a trip. 2) They didnt add the safespots, it was a glitch, because it was removed this morning. 3) I thought the dragon full helm looked nice (although i coulda used a reduction on the things coming out the back =\). It is impossible to please everyone, remember that next time you look at an update like that. 4) Its a challenge, and if you notice, nothing drops expensive things all the time. Everything has its bad drops, but with a powerfull monster, it takes a long time to kill many. People who compare it to even steel dragons are doing it all wrong. You can kill hundreds of steels in a trip. People who have been killing miths since the update have only racked up 200 kills max. 5) Updates always bring out the worst of people, you cant do anything about it. The only thing jagex could have done would be to make the dungeon special for each player (like in a few quests, where you are the only one on the map). That would have been too much solitude confinement for me. You dont know how usless the update is untill we know everything. People are still filling out the ancient pages, no one knows what comes next. I dont see how anything is illogical of the update =\

If you melee them with karils on, and melee prayer they dont range you. So all you have to do is worry about magic attacks (which they do use every now and then). They only range when you are not next to them meleeing. So if you use a dfire pot + dfire shield, the dragonfire will not hurt you. I go with karils, Nesinot helm, Barrows gloves, climbing boots, fury, wealth, and trimmed att/str cape (any trimmed cape for prayer bonus) They are still hard though, on a good trip i can kill mabey 6-8 pending on how well i hit. Also, im a 99 attack and strength, so dont try to melee if you arnt 90+ in those stats, or you will be down there for your entire trip taking out 2.

The door resists all of our efforts to penetrate it, even the fishing explosives which Derril suggested were tried with no success. There must be some way through which is linked to magic, though perhaps, all who know the secret are now long dead. Got this off a mith dragon. If anyone could confirm that Brutal Green Dragons drop pages too, that would be wonderfull. I killed around 24, 25 last night with no interesting drops.

Im sure jagex put these here as a possible way to obtain green dragonhides without going into the wilderness. People have been ranting as early as 2004 that they wanted green dragons outside of the wilderness. Well, they got them :-w
