  1. Hehe.. I like the last one. "Por que?" It reminds me of this kid in my spanish class who always says "por que????" in a long, drawn out, fake-Mexican accent. Good smilies.
  2. Wow.. I'm surprised this is still even going.. this was what.. the fourth or fifth thread in the Debate Forum? And one of the few legitimate questions at the time. I feel speshul But anyways.. since I've retired and whatnot, my views haven't changed. I still think that the least admirable would have to be fletching and cooking by far. We should get a poll going on this! ~Lunar
  3. Ha.. yea, I keep forgetting things. I've retired and haven't crafted in a long time, so that part slipped my mind.
  4. Auto-die? :-k So if I logged off fighting a Kalphite Soldier, the server would be like "OMG! He logged out fighting a Kalphite Soldier! I have to auto-kill him now!" But if I fought a rat it would be like "Oh, just a rat, no need to auto-kill him." Ha.. that's not how it works. If you lose connection or get "X"ed out whilst fighting a monster, the "inactive" timer starts to tick. If you kill that monster, and there are no other aggressive monsters around to attack you, you will be logged out after a short amount of time. But, if you're in a place with lots of aggressive monsters, you may not get the chance to log out before you die. This is especially true in an area with ranged monsters and/or multi-combat zones (Dagganoths, for example). My best advice is to ensure you have a good connection before you go into dangerous places, and make sure you have no annoying siblings that will commandeer your mouse and "X" you out. Also, be wary of clicking off the RS window and hitting backspace.. that will take you off the window and effectively "X" you out. Sorry for the long post! ~Lunar
  5. Haha.. simple mistake really. I've done it before, as well.
  6. Use the Barbarian Outpost. Just bring along some cakes for healing if you fall.
  7. That's odd. Are you using the earth talisman on the altar? And is your RC level high enough? *EDIT* Also.. did you bring the water talisman with you to actually get into the altar? That would help if you didn't.
  8. I'm pretty sure Zzzamorak has done it, but I'm not sure how. Recoils- or any other form of physical combat- would not work, seeing as the Spirit's max hit is 10+. You could calculate how many levels you could gain in Mage and Range before you get a combat level.. but I don't think that would be enough. All I can say is experiment. You could try using recoils and praying that you don't get hit above a 9. You could also get an iron dagger(s) and attack it until it's poisoned. That's how I ended up beating some monsters on my Prayer/Skill pure without gaining levels. Isn't there also the Karambwan(sp?) poison for spears that hits 9s or something? You could try that on an iron spear... Best of luck to you. ~Lunar
  9. Simple response, eh? Any members items you are wearing or wielding will not give you the stat bonuses whilst in F2P. But it often gives you the "look at me I'm a member, I'm (cool/strong/snobby)" look.
  10. Long time no see, icecube. I see you've been very helpful in the H&A boards.. look at that post count! But on topic, do just what ice said about the guild. To go into more detail: (1)In your inventory, have some needles, and lots and lots of thread. (2)Kill an inventory full of cows, and (3)head into the guild (make sure you're wearing your apron!). (4)Tan your hides into hardleather (4.5)Craft those hardleathers into bodies, and (5)drop all of them on your way back to the pin. (6)Then keep repeating until you fulfill your desired level! Hope that helps. ~Lunar *EDIT* Thanks for pointing that out, xgreenenvyx. I kind of combined tanning and crafting them.
  11. Might wanna fix those tags.
  12. Your question has been answered. Please use the correct subforum next time for Quest Help. ~Lunar
  13. Ha. I'm not too good with all the filters and whatnot.. but I'll see what I can do. ~Lunar
  14. Ha.. I kinda did that on purpose. I'll see what I can do about that.
  15. Well, some of you may know me, some of you may not.. but that's beside the point. I'm retiring both from Runescape, and from moderating the Tip.It boards. If I've locked your posts... too bad ;-). Ha.. little humor. But anyways, here's my first decent signature. I made this for my retirement, and wanted to get some C&C on it. You all know the deal better than I do. Just keep it nice. ~Lunar

  18. You'd probably be better off trying to buy a new pickaxe, and/or selling the head you have now. It'd be better to spend a bit of cash then not be able to train. ~Lunar
  19. Locked on request. Also, use the appropriate forum next time. ~Lunar
  20. You wouldn't need more than 30-40 racks per run, which you can easily make up for in loot. ~Lunar
  21. It could possibly work, but not consistently enough to make it realiable in any way. ~Lunar
  22. Thank you, everfreefire. Please use the link provided for help with getting a Gang Member for Heroes Quest. ~Lunar
  23. How are you making it so all the Melee brothers never hit you? Running around the room like a mad man? ;) ~Lunar
  24. The best way to not get poisoned by them is to skip them. But I'm not sure if you can... the Burthope Master might assign those as well. Worth a try though! ~Lunar
  25. Just what it says. It lets other people use magic spells or items on you to help you out. You must turn it on for someone to use a Teleother spell on you, for example. Also used for some Lunar Magicks, and I think the butterflies you can catch using the Hunter skill. ~Lunar
