  1. Just remember.. don't try to do too many Curses in one sitting. It gets very repetitive and boring after a while.. It all depends on your level of patience. Set a goal of X amount per sitting, then go do something fun. That is.. if you're doing Curses. Any way you do it, have fun and good luck achieving your goals. ~Lunar
  2. You will always need prayer for Barrows. Unless you can get extremely, extremely lucky, you won't get away without it. The max hit of most brothers is 25+, and Dharok, at low health, can hit for 56! Don't attempt without at the very least 43 Prayer, for Protect from Melee. Also, I think you have sidestepping and safespotting confused. The coffins only serve as a sidestep spot, where you can recouperate and get ready for another bout with the brother. You can't fire over the coffin, nor can Ahrim or Karil fire over at you. The only "safespot" in the crypts are made by using Ancient Magicks, even then it's dangerous, not too mention costly. ~Lunar
  3. Seems as if you like Runecrafting, no? If you haven't already on your pure, get 44 and make yourself a bunch of nats. Then buy/make yew longs, and alch away! You'll get a nice return on the Pure Essence cost, and if you alch in a heavy PKing world, you can have fun watching fights. ~Lunar
  4. Yes, as mechwariorx stated, it'll probably always be crowded. Your best bet is to hop around until you find a world with.. say.. 1-3 people in it. If you can dominate the area long enough, you may force others to leave. This might not make you the most liked combatant down there, but you'll get your training in. Be courteous, however. Don't be rude to get a spot.. that really irks me and, I'm sure, others. ~Lunar
  5. As said, it's all about attitude, not combat level. People often confuse the terms "newb" and "noob". Again as stated, a newb is someone new to the game- hence the "newb." The term "noob" has many definitions according to many different people. Often, it is used by the immature or insecure to make themselves feel better about their skills (or lack thereof), or incompetencies. This being said, I'll lock this thread. ~Lunar
  6. Please do not post images from Private Servers. ~Lunar
  7. Whoo! Congrats! Sorry I wasn't there to see it.. been having 'puter issues as of late. ~Lunar
  8. Although these are great achievements, they're not your achievements. If the owners of these accounts would like to post their banks, then they may. The Rate This! board is for you to post your achievements. ~Lunar
  9. Yep, just use that great map there. And for future reference, clue-related questions should be in the Clues, Clues, Clues forum. ~Lunar
  10. Yes yes, the Zombie Dance does resemble the dance from Thriller. However, there is no room for discussion here so I'll throw the padlock on this. ~Lunar
  11. Gladly. I'll whisk this on over to the Suggestions forum.
  12. Hah.. this happens to me sometimes. There's three explanations. 1) You added someone to buy/sell something, and forgot to remove them. 2) You did get hacked or a friend logged on, and for some reason left you all your stuff and just added friends.. o.O 3) You accidentally hit "Add Friend" instead of sending your friend a message.. I often times have names at the end of my list like "lol thats funn"... or something. Funny eh?
  13. I'm sure that he has a high magic defense, so that'd contribute to the failure of Cursing. But anything you cast it on should fail with full melee armour on. ~Lunar
  14. It's not. So I'll go ahead and move this over to the Tip.Iter event Board. ~Lunar (Gooood luck getting all those squares lit up!)
  15. Welcome to Tip.It! Hope you enjoy your stay here. As for getting appointed to the staff here, it's not a job you apply to, per say. Your application consists of good, constructive posts that help people out. Immature posts most certainly would decrease your chance of getting onto the staff. Just be as good of a help as you can! ~Lunar
  16. Well from what I know of Dragons, only the metal dragons breathe fire from a distance. I've ranged Blues and Blacks before, and they don't "spit" fire. I'm assuming Greens and Reds are the same. Elvarg may be different, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm if Elvarg "spits" fire? I'm not at home at the moment and won't be for a while.. plus I don't think you can get back into his lair after you've done the quest.. ~Lunar
  17. I know this, nicrune. Clearly stated in my previous post. But yes; they are far too accurate (from what I hear) to train on. ~Lunar
  18. Also, it's possible to do it with Ice Barrage or binding spells (if he can be frozen/bound). Just freeze/bind him, and mage/range him from a distance. Either that, or melee him with antifire pots and DDS. This is all for members, of course.. If you're F2P... not much of a chance; it's all up to luck then. ~Lunar
  19. The lowest level troll are the Thrower Trolls, but I wouldn't recommend fighting them. They are in a multi combat zone and throw rocks at you that can hit up to 7 (according to the Tip.It Beastiary). The best trolls for fighting would have to be the Mountain Trolls in the mountain pass that leads to Keldagrim. Bring your best melee armour and plenty of food. If you have a spare super set or normal set, bring that as well. ~Lunar
  20. They let you get more of your crop at harvest time. It doesn't matter if you plant your plants with them equipped. ~Lunar
  21. 1. Well, if I recall correctly, they require 50 thieving to begin cracking anyways. So no, not for your level, seeing as your Thieving is only 43. But once you get it up to 50, it's great. Wall Safes aren't the best experience, but they provide plenty of gems and cash for crafting/selling. 2. You have to click on them to begin cracking the safe. The actual process takes only a few seconds, and you have a chance of failing and being damaged. So you'll need to watch your health... You could do other things, but I wouldn't recommend it. 3. They are located in the Rogues Den, under the bar in Burthope. The Rogues Den is the best place for cooking, seeing as there is a banker and a fire steps away from each other. ~Lunar *EDIT* Darn.. Jake beat me to it by a minute! Curse my overly-detailed explanation! :XD:
  22. <~Locked~> Question has been answered, so I'll throw a lock on this one. ~Lunar
  23. Locked by Request. ~Lunar
  24. You have to have the Barcrawl Card in your inventory, and then talk to him. He'll give it to you, you'll get a message, and that bar will be marked off on your card. ~Lunar
  25. I'd say possible with extreme luck, but not plausible in the least bit. Jad can one hit anybody if he gets in a good hit. You'll most definitely need at least 43 Prayer, if not higher. ~Lunar
