Try using a darker shade of green to make various shapes of incomplete ovals and cirlces like this: The upper right is the picture on regular size.

Not really, just liked the idea and decided to try a new style with it, no altterior motive.

Here's my sig, pirate vs. ninja. I'm trying a different style, only using the pencil and fill tool. Took about half an hour and 4 colors, I know anatomy is off, it's meant to be that way. C/C and please........no ratings :evil: Edit: lol forgot to post the image :oops: 8-)

I like the whole idea but a few things to work on: The cropping seems a bit sloppy. I understand that the guy has lots of small parts but there sort of seem to be random pixels appearing outside the border of his cape. The other thing is the text shade is too light to be easily seen in the brighter parts of the fire, maybe a darker blue? Other than those two things it looks great, love the render. 8-)

Nice but a few things what I think. I love how much detail you put in such a mall space but your color choice is odd. What I'm mainly talking about are the orange highlights on the guy's muscles. Also it looks like you tried to shade his right foot arch (our left). I think you ade it too large because now it looks like his foot has an opposable thumb. :wink: Other than that it looks great. :D

700 per ore? No way On topic: If you're a member, running runes is good and easy money. For nonmembers, air runes. Not as profitable as when essence was all the same but still a pretty good way to make money and it ony tkaes lvl 1 mining.

If I don't have anything to do in the next few weeks, yours will be next on my list. :)

Ok here's the deal: First of all don't post something that you don't think is good yourself. C/C (comments and criticism) isn't very effective if you aren't attached to the work itself to begin with. Second you said that you're not very good with pixelling. A few words of encouragement, no one is good at their first sigs, practice makes perfect, and don't be discouraged. Once you start to get the hang of pixelling, you'll get better and faster at it, I guarentee it. Now to the C/C: Your first sig is not a bad idea but there are a few things that need work. The tree is too simple a shape, try drawing more branches and make it assymmetrical (sp?). I see you've tried to do rudimentary shading which is good but you need to take it further. Generally speaking, I use about 5 or 6 shades per object, though sometimes more. The more cartoony you want it to look, the fewer shades you use probably to a minimum of 3 shades. The more realistis, the more shades (I've used 12 for rune armour before) The first sig also looks a little flat. What I mean is it doesn't look like the objects jump out of the page at me or go back into the computer screen. Don't worry, a little shading and adding shadows will help this a lot. Same basic ideas with the second sig, shade and add shadows. More detail would also be nice. Overall: Keep on using Paint (or whatever). Get used to the controls and making your own colors. Spend a little more time on your sigs. They don't jsut appear in a few hours. On my first pixel I personally spent almost 25 hours on the sig. Best of luck.

WTFH is wrong with you man?!?!? I've seen you around the forums before and I personally found your sig and avvy offensive for several reasons which I will outline here. First of all I'm going to get my aggression out by quoting the various geniuses on this tpoic before me: ^^All that and more when we return from this commercial break! *break* To clear up any confusion you might construe from my post, I am a guy. Despite this, I am highly offended by this. 1. It's disrespectful. I will not deny that I don't poke fun at women sometimes (check out the qoute in my sig) but your avvy and sig is downright demeaning. The both have strong sexual implications (bikini and playboy bunny.........yes we all know what that is :roll: ) and the whole bowing down also suggests something else. 2. It emulates a culture which (I believe) is responsible for the state of America today. Unlike the culture of our grandparents which honored presidents, businessmen, and scientists, ghetto culture emulates pimps, [garden tools] ( 3. I am willing to bet money that you have never had a girlfriend, at least not for long. Due to the nature of the forums, you can lie easily, but we all know. If you really have an attitude like this, the femenazi's will eat you alive. What are you, 9 years old? Grow up man. If nothing gets through to you read this: If you continue like this, you are never, EVER getting a decent girlfriend 4. Finally, the least important but I just have to take another jab and twist. The pixelling skills suck donkey. As was said before about the sig, her arms look like they're coming out of her breasts. She looks like she's twisted because normally you can't see that much bikini when she's in profile. The cut and pasted numb3ers don't even line up and the background is both harsh (plain white) and boring. The linework is atrociously messy and there seems to be little time spent on the shading...................I really can't tell because you lowered the quality, probably by saving it as a GIF of JPG in the past then converting it to a PNG. The top part of the avvy has the same problem with the quality as the sig and, as I remember from your avvy before you made it smaller, the drawing over the playboy bunny was cheap and looked like it took about 2 minutes (and that includes uploading it and putting it in your profile :?). I will admit the bottom part of the avvy is clever though I take issue with the content. The lettering is well done but, again, the quality is bad. PNG's are your friend. Ratings: 0/10 for overall taste 4/10 for pixelling skills; basic shading but messy linework 0/10 for sense of humor; this is not funny Now, if you'll excuse me, now that I have my two cents worth in, I am going to report this to a mod to be locked because I'm sick of seeing it bumped by honest people who honestly hate your sig and avvy (myself included).

Ok, I'm sorry if I'm repeating something (yes I am repeating something) but this is more specific: ^^see sig below for final product. Honestly you had the exact same problem with the topic you made about a clan banner. You need to state what kind of sig (abstract, pixel, grunge) what you want on it, text on it, and size just to start with. If it's a abstract or grunge, you will be asked for a render. This is a picture or image that you, (yes, you) will have to go out on the net and find and then post the link here. Honestly this is probably the only way you will get most people to even consider doing your request. BTW, is Pearl Jam a band? that needs to be specific too. @k0m0d0: Yes it was a triple post but if you noticed, the posts were days apart.

If the sig you posted is the one in your sig right now, it looks good. Different style maybe but it looks like there's little to improve on if that's what you're going for. Remember, you always have a final say on what your art needs and doesn't need.
