Anyone wanna help get rid of the plastic tree? I need some shading ideas.

To me the animation is too fast, maybe 3/4 or 1/2 as fast if it still looks smooth.

Typical abstract, not really a fan but I'll give some advice despite that. The pink blood drips or whatever are pretty cool, but I think they contrast too much with darker skins on the forums, kinda hurts the eyes. Try changing the background to black with sorta neon gree drips or something. The text is well........ Lol, actually it's kinda hard to see at first and doesn't look right when it's right up against the top of the sig. Aside from that it's really good. If you're a ratings person (which unfortunatly a lot of people are) I'd give it a 7/10.

"Finished", which means C/C and I'll try to steadily improve. Took about 8 hours work.

I pixel much better than I draw. Honestly, the anatomy of his pixels is about as good as the anatomy of my drawings :? . lol. thats exacly my point. learn to draw anatomy on paper better and you're anatomy on pixel sigs will skyrocket :) edit: and lets face it.. its easier to learn to shade and learn anatomy on paper with a pencil than it is with pixel after agonising pixel :P OK you both seem to have misunderstood me. It was pink because I made it in another doc so I wouldn't screw up the BG. I used the pink to seperate the guy from the white BG of the other doc before I transferred.

Yay Yoshi! Nice job, The half-transparent really helps the characters stand out. Much better than all those FF XI or whatever characters. :?

Looks good but a bit plain. I would suggest a few things: 1. A window 2. A person doing an action of some sort, even grinning 3. a stone wall would work great, wood I think contrasts too little with piles of gold :twisted: Aside from that great job, especially with the time you've had to work.

My new WIP. ^^Finished product. I tried to put in something like a cactus and cow skull but my computer crashed and I lost all the work so I just shaded the ground and added some text. w00t MS Paint all the way! ^^Ok I changed the stars a bit but I still need to fix the tree roots. I would also like help shading the plastic tree :?

Nice guide. Only thing I take issue with is when you say it's good to use the pencil tool for linework. It seems like the line tool is the general consensus as it gives cleaner lines.

Just wondering, can you use color in the animations or is it only greyscale/black and white?
