going p2p
There are country limits, and most phones have 1-800 numbers, and etc.. blocked. This was the problem with my phoneline, so I had to do my phoning from my fax line. I later figured out that ccards are much better, and currently use them. :)

Does gem bolts hit better?
The tips make no difference whatsoever. However, if you enchant them, then the special will hit higher than your regular attacks. :)

Godsword - customize?
That is correct. The hilts are interchangeable. :)

Your first dragon drop
If you don't count my dd's, ddp's, and dds's from implings .. then I got my first dragon drop around a week ago. It was a dragon shield left-half from the Fire Giants. A nice perk since it paid for quite a few of the steel arrows I had used.

I guess no one else noticed this error. I believe you want the last range that you wrote to be "mage". Great guide though, I plan to test it out.. if I ever get Karamja gloves..

Mith Bars or Rune Mining - Santa
Well, I believe the superheating of mithril bars would be faster. You could do that until you reach 85 mining, and then mine rune? I am sure by that time you will be well on your way to getting a santa hat. If you are a member, mining/superheating mith bars will be even more effective, because the mines are almost always empty. Good luck with what you decide. Personally, I would go with the mith.

You forgot a very common and effective one. I marked it in. :)

+++Lots of RANGE questions+++ (pleasure to read, with pics)
To find sellers for snakeskin boots, try the official forums. Search the following keywords for results: - Snakeskin Boots - Snake Skin Boots - Snake Boots The boots can cost anywhere from 20-40k. It might not seem worth it for the range bonus.. but it's better than taking robin boots, lagging, dying, and losing them.

A New Trend...
The supply is simply greater at the start. A mass number of people want to check things out, and try for the new drops. At the beginning the monsters also seem to have higher drop-rates. This is because Jagex likes to get the items into circulation. After a short-time the drop rates seem to be nerfed, and and errors fixed. Also, people slowly drift out of the area heading back to the goals that they were working towards, and only a few will continue to hunt for these items.

Monday Poll: What brightness setting do you play on?
I play the game on 25% Brightness.. and I have my monitor adjusted to 50% Brightness.. This is because when my monitor is set to 100%, even the darkest setting is too bright for my liking. I want my retinas to last another day.

good cannon spots
If you're focused on drops, you could try black or blue dragons in the Taverly dungeon. Also, the Hellhounds in the Taverly Dungeon are ranged as though the area is multi-cb, and can drop lvl 3 clues.. nothing else though. I suggest against using a cannon personally, but if you must, you may as well use a spot that will pay for your cannonballs.

Where could I go to kill Varrock rune shop macros?
Do they pick up dropped runes? Otherwise, I am unsure as to how you would kill them.. aside from letting the Mugger have his way.

help with geting 60 smithing
If you are still a member, smelting gold ore with the gauntlets. from the Family Crest quest (I forget the name of the guantlets). Is fast smithing exp. This is because you can carry 28, and they will give more exp than smeling a rune bar. If you can afford it, test this method. :)

+++Lots of RANGE questions+++ (pleasure to read, with pics)
Congrats on 70 range. I will give you my suggestions for range training. :) First off, I suggest that you range in the room West to the one you are in. There are a larger number of safespots, making ranging from nearly any stance effective. Now for equipment suggestions. Head: Blessed God Coif / Robinhood Hat Amulet: Glory / Fury Body: Blk Body / Blessed Body Legs: Blk Chaps / Blessed Chaps Boots: Snakeskin Boots / Ranger Boots Gloves: Blk [bleep]y Vambs / Blessed Vambs Weapon: Magic Shortbow / Rune X-bow / Crystal Bow Shield: None / Optional with Rune X-bow Ammo: Steel Arrows or Greater / Steel Bolts or Greater Ring: Wealth / Archers Ring You could choose any of these items as equipment. I suggest going with the first option in all the sets, as it is cheaper, and simpler. There is no real need for Blessed Armour, aside from the coif.. this is unless of course you use your prayer (it gives a prayer bonus). I also suggest against using a crystal bow until you are 80+ range. After 80 range you will see that range seems to get a lot easier, and more effective. If you use a crystal bow before this, you are likely not going to get the amount of exp that you wished for. It might take the mistake of doing this to find reason in it. It is how I found out. Right now, and for quite some time I will be ranging in the Room West to the one you are in, in the picture posted above. You can come see me anytime I am in there, and I will be happy to help with any questions. I will most likely be in World 99. Good luck with the ranging, and don't stop at 80, that's where the fun starts. :D

chinchompa training spot
In this case, Pest Control wouldn't be a hinderance, providing you don't use the points on a skill, in which case it would. He simply means because it is a multi-combat area with a lot of monsters in one area. This way the benefit of the splash damage from the chinchompas could be taken advantage of. Try to find an area that has a lot of monsters close together, and is multi-combat.. I think only multi-combat areas are effected by splash damage? Check out some areas in the Streonghold of Security.. maybe flesh crawlers work? I honestly can't say for sure. Good luck with all the chinchompas though.

Mining addy
Yes, Crandor does have some addy rocks. I believe they are right beside the moss giants, in which case you may get attacked. Personally I like the Lumbrige Swamp area, the Al Kaharid Mines, and the Dwarven mines for attaining addy ore on F2P. If you have 70+ smithing and 43+ magic it is worth noting that you can take a fire staff, some nature runes, and a pickaxe to the Lumby Swamp mines, and continually superheat Adamantite bars until your inventory is full. This will cost 300gp or so per nature rune, but if you simply resell the bars, the profit will definitely cover the cost. :)

Fire giant strategies??
Most people over-look this, but using a x-bow with Pearl Bolts (e) will do extra damage on the special attacks. The special for these bolts is the waterfall effect. Whenever this effect occurs, more damage will be dealt to fire monsters. This includes fire giants. It is also imporant to note that Fire Giants seem to eat iron items, meaning that if you use an arrow, knife, bolt, etc.. of iron level or lower, you can expect to lose a mass number to these giants. I find that steel works quite effectively. Also, there is a somewhat universal safespot in the Western room. The safespot is 2 steps East of the armour that sits on the floor. This is a good safespot to range the giants while they are aggressive towards you. You have access to nearly, if not all the giants, and are protected from both sides. Good luck, and hope to see you there in W99. :)

merchanting with 3mil starting cash?
I would advise that you merchant something that is in mass number, and has a decent price range. An example of this would be potions, runes, ores, etc..

Ring of Wealth The TRUTH!!!!
I thought information similar to this was stated a while back.. I could be mistaken though. Anyways, it must work.. I am making a good profit from Fire Giants, and noticed a difference when I let my friend borrow my ring for a while. Just as well, he noticed a difference. I'm going to keep wearing mine.. got a left-shield half at the Fire Giants today, so I am convinced. :)

What Do YOU Want To Achieve By The End of This Year(2007)?
Higher magic, range, and HP levels. I'd also like to help some friends achieve their goals during the autumn. Good luck everyone. :)

What did YOU Achieve This summer? (Hot Topic FTW!)
I achieved 99 strength, and another rare to match the cape. I wasn't sure if I was going to meet my goal at first due to farm work, but I made it. :D

Oops! Wrong person!
Well.. I only did it a few times today.. I'm not sure what the worst time was, but today I congratulated 3 people on getting stats to 99 with the players at the Fire Giants, rather than in the chat.. I logged out shortly after.
