Mining 45-50...
I believe the closest iron mine to a bank in F2P is the East Varrock Mines. The only problem being that they can get crowded at peak times. Just the same so do most F2P mines.

To stay a pure, or to not stay a pure??
It is up to you. I myself am a zerker pure (rune pure). I would suggest that you get 85 mage/range and 80 str before even thinking about 45 defence though. It is entirely your decision, but there is no point in getting defence unless you feel that 1 defence is not working for you. Just to make you aware, rune pures aren't really too effective for pking until 90+ cb with stats above 90.

Is there a way to switch slayer assignments?
You simply speak to the Burthope slayer master to change your task. Be aware that once you change your task you will have to complete the task he assigns you, and are unable to change it.

Drain on armadyl Godsword
1/2 of the bar. I believe the Armadyl godsword is the only one that just uses 50%. The other 3 (Bandos, Zammy, Sara) use the full bar.

Still need another 99
Hunter. Invest 10k gp + time and make over 40M on red chins to 99. I am not entirely sure on the xp per hour, although I know it is quite fast to train. You especially notice a difference once you hit 80+ and are able to set 5 traps at a time. There are some good Hunter guides on the forums, just use the good 'ole search button. : Good luck. Hope you like hunter.

Maxing out on Damage dealt
Well, if you want to hit higher, get an obby shield, or a rune defender to replace your guthix book, since strength bonuses will only effect the damage dealt. Dds is nice to surprise with a flury of attacks. Your barrelchest and d mace are best suited for finishing off your opponent, and don't even bother using the d scimmy spec. I would suggest starting with your scimmy, and then finishing with the specs of one of your other weps.

uhh
Well, you could go tank ranger/mage as well, unless you are a melee guy. Barrows pure also works, if you are a melee guy. Staking/Pking Tank ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ High Defense ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ High Attack and Low Strength (99 attack 50 str is a great max) ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ 1 or 11 or 52 Prayer. 11 prayer is from Priest in Peril for Dt. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ 99 range and 94 Magic. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Wears high defence armour. Anything to take advantage of the high defence Barrows Pure ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ 70 Defense ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ High Attack and Strength ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ 52 or 70 Prayer. Piety can be very, very useful. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ 94 Magic ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Wears Barrows armour, usually Dharoks. Added bonuses are often used, such as barrows gloves, etc..

which one..
Buy the bone bolts and train. You will definitely make more profit than you spend on the bolts. 5-10k bolts at a time will be plenty. I myself am Dorgeshuun X-bow training at the fire giants under the Waterfall. Very good xp and drops. Also, it is not crowded as everyone complains, except maybe on weekends.

Advice on rune pure?
To put it simply, train it like you would any other account. Train your combat stats as well as non-combat stats. The only difference being that you should avoid training defence and possibly prayer. If you are F2P I suggest keeping prayer a low level, such as 1, or high enough for superhuman strength. As for training defence, it is best to train it by quests. Acquire a list of quests that a rune pure needs to be done, and do them for your defence xp. Be sure to calculate the rewards vs. the xp you have, as not to go over the defence level you want. On F2P definitely do not pass 40 defence on a rune pure, even if you are going to get members and 45 defence. On members the quests you need will easily take you from 40-45. Some of the defence reward quests a rune/zerker pure should do include: ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Nature Spirit ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Dragon Slayer ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Monkey Madness ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Fremmelik Trials You can throw in some other quests as well to get you to the defence level you want to attain, just do your best not to pass it. Calculate ahead of time, and you will be glad you did. : Good luck.

Best weapon for Str Train
Dragon Scitimar - This is undoubtly one of the most ideal weapons for training strength. It is cheap, hits at a fast rate, and does a moderate amount of damage. Godsword - A great weapon for strength training, provided you can afford it. The high rate of accuracy and high strength bonus makes it ideal, especially with particular hilts. Dragon Halberd - This weapon is often over-looked because people do not train on the appropriate monsters. I trained with a d-hally from 97-99 strength at the fire giants in the waterfall, and it was amazingly great to train with. All you need are decent attack bonuses and some decent strength bonuses, then you are set.

p2p good spot to train with 40 def
Slayer Tasks with a black mask, or giant spiders in Sos. I'm not too sure about the yak thing, just telling you what I found effective with 45 defence. :
-
RoW & Ankou/Bloodvelds
I can't say for sure, but seeing as they are runes, I doubt the chances would be increased, but rather the chances of a left-shield half would be increased.
-
Training Range: Void or Hides
Well, at lower levels I would suspect it to be better, as the range bonuses on low level hide aren't very effective.

99 Range + 40 Def: Any Good?
Sorry you gave it up, I had just meant in case you find interest in it again. :

99 Magic Through Fire Stirkes?(Yes, Strikes, Not Bolts)
Curse - cheaper, slower, no HP I would suggest fire bolts on dragons. There is no chance it will take 2 years, unless you play 10 minutes per day, or bank constantly. My friend got 80-99 mage on fire bolts with blue drags in a few months, and he played 2-3 hours per day. Not to mention, he banked the bones and hides, so he was constantly banking.

Can anyone comment on the recent drop in P pots prices?
Ranarrs are selling 7-8k each. I believe that could be because a lot sold are unids from pures.

Fire Giants Under Waterfall
Using a dragonstone necklace, and teleport to the Fishing Guild, then walk north. Otherwise, I believe you can games necklace telly, and walk from Barberian Outpost. Yes, there are plenty of safespots, but bring some food in case. :

Can anyone comment on the recent drop in P pots prices?
Often players, mainly 1 def pures, did not train Herblore, and did not bother to pick up the herb drops. Now that the herbs are labelled, they can easily pick up the ones of worth, and bank them. More Ranarrs means more prayer pots, meaning more supply without an increase in demand. This is the cause of the price drop, in my opinion.

An interesting question
Use a row, unless you can easily afford an archers ring. If so, wear that. :

99 Magic Through Fire Stirkes?(Yes, Strikes, Not Bolts)
Enchantment in mage training arena is pretty good. High alchemy is also ok, but slower. Fire strikes would take longer than fire bolts, but would be cheaper. You could also just cast a spell such as stun, although that can become expensive.

Training
̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Slayer Tasks with a black mask. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Ankou training with a Salve (e) amulet. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Bandits with Guthans. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Monkey Guards with Dharoks. Choose which you like, and I will do my best to further explain it. I am not too knowledgable on the Bandit method, but I am pretty sure you just sit there and watch you don't die, as with monkey guards.

Quick question
F2P has 60 bank slots.

99 Range + 40 Def: Any Good?
Is that supposed to be pking gear, or training gear? If training switch it up with more dhide + wealth/archer ring. If pking, it looks good atm, just throw on a recoil. I say 40 def 99 range is a nice combination. It still allows you to possibly go all out tank, or even switch it up to zerker or barrows pure. :

Which Gloves?
In my opinion, the rune gloves look nicer. The stats are a nice perk. :

Ranged level 70
I would use a bone Xbow + bone bolts at the Waterfall. King Lathas may be faster though, I am not entirely sure. 70 range is a bit low to effectively range blue dragons for their drops. Just stick with Fire Giants. : It is better to finish the maze more quickly, for a better reward, rather than opening chests.
