  1. I have a confession. Yesterday I dropped all the chicken nuggets I was taking out of the oven and didn't throw them away... They fell on the kitchen floor and were later served as breakfast. Uhh, 5 second rule?
  2. By adjusting the colour does it not make the vines fake? They are certainly not the originals ;~;

Google search 'Awesome smiley,' you'll come up with loads of pics of the internet phenomenom. Probably created from 4chan or Something Awful or some site like that.

Yeah, there's no muscle tones whatsoever, she must not eat anything D:. I'd say learn a bit about anatomy, where the curves and turns are on a woman's body, what sticks out and what doesn't. Perhaps use a reference before you master it? I learned quite a bit from just studying women's bodies and drawing them clothless. Your person is a stick figure, although all women's body shapes aren't the same they still generally have wide hips and are quite lean and lithe. Or that's how people draw them. The clothes look a little stiff too. There should be folds and creases, even slightly bunched and not so skin tight. Those gloves are huuuuge, they'll fall off D:. Every little detail counts so draw buttons, pockets, zips etc etc. But this seems like a rough sketch so those things probably won't matter. The front part of the head is good, it's just the back/top part. It's too flat. Our skulls makes the top part spherical if you feel the back of yours, you'd see that it curves into the neck like a hook. And the ponytail seems to be defying gravity :P If you go searching on dA, there's way better explainations of drawing than I could ever give. I always look at this one (clothes one): http://kitten-chan.deviantart.com/art/T ... s-40875508 ^That person also has a pretty good tutorial on the human figure.

[hide=insertmynamehere's FF dream] [/hide] LOL, chocobo orientated dreams are awesome (and surprisingly trippy). Mine attacked me :( but once I gave it some greens it turned happy. Racheya, step away from the runescape... I haven't had anything to look forward to in a looong time and suddenly this theme park trip is thrusted upon me :D But it gets better. Drayton Manor is in Birmingham (I think) and we have some family in Wolverhampton we must visit for they have given birth to a newborn and the day after tomorrow I'm going to The Forbidden Planet! Going to buy so much manga~

I'll find those images later because I have to go to a baby shower. What's worse is that I have to wear an Asian suit ;_; but I'm trying to persuade my mom to let me wear my casual clothing. There are also some mysterious beings in our living room which I concluded are OAPs my mother has to drive to the party location. That, and there are some humans who've come to claim my hair straightner ¬_¬ Wise words :P I'm in the process of doing just that. Easier said than done though and incredibly hard if you live in a house with your parents where you don't have an income. I could do with a little more freedom to do as I please without any questions.
  7. Congratz Killerwatt, looking good :D
  8. As a regular heavy, snipers can really kicked my [wagon] now :(.

Protoguy, your prediction came true! I am required to have one counselling session a week once we return from our study leave ;_; Although I was extremely nervous and I think they misunderstood my body language as secrecy. LOL, they secluded me and sat in an office where we had a very discerning discussion. I just ate some yoghurt and now my stomach feels like it's on fire D: and I've decided to take up cooking as a hobby, perhaps even make a successful steak one day. First step, lasagne.

I did a photoshoot in my gritty garage involving two dolls, pig's blood, hacksaws and a whole load of pills. I'd say the photographs turned out quite well, I just think the theme of the images may be a little too controversial for my school. That and the titles of the images were depressingly daunting. Perhaps they misunderstood me when I wrote a tidbit about the past and experiences. Also, I did a huge feature on Hans Bellmer, an artist who fashioned dolls and mannequins in a way that represented prepubescent girls. Maybe they didnt appreciate my depiction of young children. Youre right Adrenal! Every art teacher I had was demented in some way. I say we exterminate them fellas.

I just got a call saying that my Art teacher wanted to see me. I'm terrified, she's a monstrous monstrosity who likes to use a lot of metaphors. The answering machine said it was regarding my exam sketch book which, if I recall, contained disturbing images. I hope that they're not going to psychoanalyse how disturbed I am - even if I am a little mentally unstable HAH. In yo face, Mrs... Art teacher, I'm preparing myself for your onslaught of beautiful conjugation of words.

It was Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. The weather is being rather nice today... I still suspicious of its intentions for it was only yesterday when its bipolar tendencies were revealed. I think Im going to risk it and talk a walk.

Ah, I did 2 pages on my first one and only referred to other poems, not quote them >_< second I did a page and a bit with only three paragraphs and no conclusion. No quotes from the book whatsoever. I need a new hobby :\ I have no school and I don't work or anything so all I do is sit around all day on the laptop and now that is getting boring :o Perhaps I'll get back into drawing or something... >:U
  14. http://www.internationalsaimoe.com/voting/ Hard decisions between: Kirisame Marisa and Hiiragi Kagami Fate Testarossa and Hakurei Reimu Ichinose Kotomi and Kawashima Ami u_u Made me happy to see some Aria characters in there though.
  15. So, only three entries huh?
  16. Aw, I wanna see it now :P

Failed horribly on my English exam, HORRIBLY. I couldnt for the love of God remember any quotes from the book we were studying so I made up so much BS  I kept repeating vivid imagery and I tried to sound smart by using big words... probably incorrectly LOL. Gosh I dont know if my poetry one was better or worse. I didnt study that poem at all and I couldnt remember certain lines though I knew the theme because it was Christina Rossetti so it MUST be death... and grief, death... and grief, death... and grief. Then I got bored and started drawing at the end. They dont take marks off for that do they? Im sure we can find a way to link Lucky Star to Tess of the DUrbervilles so instead I can gain some points. I wish we had more interesting books and poets to study. I envy those who had more modern texts.

Yea I did that last year but luckily my sixth form let me resit year 12 again. I'm thinking of doing that if my grades are rubbish but I've already taken a year out because I didn't do so well on my GCSE's. Meh, I'm scared of the real world so the more time spent in school, the better it is for me.
  19. I think you need more perspective... It looks so isometric and that's like the easy way out of pixelling. On your cookers, I think you should manually make the circles/ovals instead of using the circle tool. It came out quite uneven ze? Ah, there was something wrong with your floor too. It took me a while to find out what it was lol. I noticed you were going for the whole isometric/even thing but your tiles are a little mismatched. Some are big and some are thin. As Grasle stated, you won't see the sun out of that window because we are looking down upon the abnormally huge kitchen. Perhaps we'll only see grass.

Woah, that's great :D I love how the image looks aged and archaic, such a great effect!
  21. Gosh, sounds like someone who doesn't want to admit that they're wrong and not right. She didn't like that you pointed out her flaws so bluntly, but don't sugar coat it 'cause everyone needs a harsh art critique. I find it helpful even if they might balantly disrespect me. Yup, infested with Japanophiles and attention [bleep]. But that's not to say that there isn't a decent person amongst all that badly drawn manga and myspace-esque photos.
  22. I don't have any C/C but that looks great
  23. Ooh, it's one for me. Pretty colours ze~

^ Lol, 'Soap Opera' says it all... Maaaaan, I haven't seen Eastenders in sooo long. It's Hollyoaks that's popular at our school so I often hear people talking about that.
