Are abyssal demons extremely weak? The other day, I needed to finish up a ring of recoil, and it took a pretty good while for the thing to hit me 7 times. I of course couldn't hurt it because my slayer level is too low.

The pits are the PvP ones, so I'll just assume you meant the caves because you said "monsters." Dharokers in the pits usually get one or two good hits in just before they die, but I'd assume that the monkey gaurds would be better. I've never heard of anybody dharoking elves, by the way. There's an altar down the hall from a ranger with another downstairs and the two warriors. Ranged protection prayer lasts a good bit longer than the melee one, and the rangers have a much lower defense and aren't aggresive, so I'd think they'd be better to train on...

I'd think that level 70 is a bit late to be worrying about your defense level...but to each his own.

It attracts bone bolts which are not metallic, so it attracts ALL retrievable projectile weapons. I got a wind-up doll once :lol:

It won't retrieve chinchompas or salamander ammo, though.

No, clue and half-key drops aren't affected by the ring. That stackable thing is complete bs, by the way.

Could you kill 50 before your prayer ran out and then run into the boss chamber to recharge?

I'm pretty sure that tip.its item database says that operating the cape temporary adds 1 level.

The first 9 or so quests that I did as a member were fuled by my desire for snakeskin boots to finish a clue, so say leave it in the bank and start trhe Legend's Quest.

I have a question about skill capes that's been bothering me for a while. When you operate an equipped cape through the equip menu, they raise the skill by 1 point temporarily, right? What happens if the skill is below 99 at the time? I was specifically thinking of HP and Prayer. Could the capes be operated repeatedly to restore HP or Prayer points? What about stats that have been lowered by curses or the like?

That would only work if you had a lower combat level. It would be a shame to get owned by a bot...

Then you can buy one of the god hilts and attach it to the blade which doesn't require any smithing. That's why the hilts are really close to the full swords in price. Even the generals drop shards, but only the bosses drop hilts.

You could use the caged greaters in the ogre enclave or the lessers through the barred wall in the taverly dungeon.
