  1. I'm a mid-low level barrower and I never use prayer pots. Just bring monks or better, pray all the way through dharok and a bit of the way through karil, then if you still have anything left pray on verac for a second or two and use up most of the food that you're going to use. I hate verac so much...
  2. I don't uderstand why the potters© sell their pots so cheaply. I understand why the price of, ranaars can flucuate freely, but prayer pots can only be made from ranaars. Why would someone who just got a good deal on their herbs go and sell their pots and let their lucky profit down the drain?
  3. When I had to kill minotaurs to re-obtain my staff after the diary update, I got a good number of iron arrows. You probably wouldn't need to safespot there.
  4. I'd say sell your wip, obby shield, obby cape, glory, dds, pure ess, mystic bottom, beserker/warrior helm, lava staff, and 1 rune pickaxe. Then go fly fishing or killing people. I honestly wouldn't know what to do back in f2p...

You can only use safespots that work because the monster is too big to get to you, but that you can freely walk to them. The accumulator still gives the best ranged bonus in the capse spot, though...I think...
  6. Tell me when you do Mouring's End 2. I just have that and the two quests which require 70+ woodcutting to go...and I'm scared :ohnoes:
  7. I just thought of a decent slightly lower loss way to train smithing with steel without high alching at all so this is a bit off topic but... You could buy 3 coal=600gp and 3 iron=300gp. The total raw material cost would be 900gp. Then you'd make 3 steel bars at the blast furnace. Go to varrock and make a steel 2 hander, and then sell the 2 hander to the store in the warrior's guild (which always buys at high alch price regardless of the stock(or at least it did before the update(haven't checked recently))). The high alch value of a 2 hander is 600gp. So you'll be losing 100gp per bar, which I've heard is good for smith training these days. High alching steel plates with nats bought at 300gp ea gives a loss of 120gp per bar. The only reason not to sell plates to the guild(would only be 60gp per bar lost) is that the guild store doesn't buy platebodies... I hope that I helped somebody, probably not the topic poster because he was probably just looking for easy, not at all manly magic training, but whatever...
  8. Wouldn't it be better to smith them into...shortswords? Those are 1 bar right? first? That'd give you experience, not take much time, and earn you much more.
  9. It's actually very cheap. It's about 826gp/herb, and you only get herbs tarromin+. Even if you were to use all the herbs (incl tarromins), buy all the 2nds, and buy vials, you will still make 5-10% profit. : This is what I'm doing right now; by the end of December I'll have about 10k herbs, which is about 1M exp. I meant that the irit part was costly. Exclusively using MTK is MUCH cheaper, but buying the ingredients is MUCH faster...
  10. i find it to be a great way to waste food That's actually good for me... You might want to try trainin fishing and cooking to around 70 or so at shilo village and al-kharid. I still have about 2k salmon and 5k trout in the bank... I doubt that you'll find a good manly training spot that doesn't use food, except elves...
  11. I lost about 800k between 51 and 57 herblore. I bought irits(eyes of newt from the sarim store) for 1.8k and sold the super attacks(3) in edgeville world 18 for 1k each... I also used up 1 week's MTK work with 100% herbs 50% coal. This method is pretty fast(if you've already left your kingdom for a week), but also pretty costly...
  12. I think that it would be much better for you to man up and train like a man in a much more manly way so that you'll have decent enough stats to do what you're trying to do (which isn't at all manly) effectively.
  13. There really isn't a way to be bad at slayer... The edgville guy, vannaka, is MUCH better than the fairy, chaeldar, by the way. Just burthorpe assignments you don't like...

Why would you need zamorak items? I thought there were just armadyll guyss in the armadyll room... Woul this be good at 70 range, btw :P What amo to use, etc. etc...
  15. I think the spectres are 96... i get an orange level at 91, so they must be around there. Shadow warriors under the legend's guild drop a lot of high herbs and air runes also. All that they require is the legend's quest...
  16. I'm pretty sure they're 6k-7k each now. :-k Are you serious!? I just wasted like 800k with irits to 57 herblore...
  17. I kill green dragons near the graveyard occasionally and I always get a clue or two...
  18. i dont know where you got your info from but they drop bones, arent at all risky unless you dont pay attention or try to get by without antifire pots, and the walk takes like 5-10 minutes and you can stay there for 1-2 hours with like 16-20 antifire pots Don't they drop Dragon Bones? And I can stay at Ankou forever and its a 1 and a half minute walk. Plus I will hit alot more often on Ankou.... If I ever go to Iron Dragons it will be with a rune crossbow and diamond/ruby bolts. Just take 1000 fire bolt casts and 2 or 3 full ant-fire pots to the iron dragons. You will definately get better exp at ankous(or caged greaters which I train on), but iron dragons will be much more fun.

Ive been doing the monkey one for awhile and its boring, plus they dont drop anthing. I think ill just stick to slayer. I want 85 anyway +) That's what I did up to whatever level I am now...(I think 60-70)
  20. Maybe there are special drop pairs. Like whenever you get 2/3 drops from a druid, it's always 2/3 herbs. You never get 2/3 vials.
  21. If you can't get barrows gloves DO NOT buy dragon gloves, unless you're rich and like wasting money. The rune gloves will tide you over until you get 70 cooking. I got black and mith gloves before I finished and got barrows, by the way.
  22. World 18 edgeville bank.
  23. I've heard that they're two-handed...
  24. I didn't know that! I'll make sure to keep mine safe so that I can confuse noobs for many years to come...
  25. Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with having a defense higher than 75? I'm guessing that you want 75 for the dfs, and that's just a bit late to make a pure of any sort.
