Can someone explain the method that is used to degrade only 1 crystal bow while using a seperate one. I don't want to go off and waste money buying another seed if it won't be worth it.

They're dropped on the ground and are only visible to you. I think that this makes death much less dangerous...there's really no risk in anything now with the 50k(like mine) graves or the angel of death. Zaros tomb ftw!

Well that was moronic... These things are definately much more dangerous than the occasional kid who might randomly dds you, and you can just run. before this update I had only been teleblocked twice, ever, and one of those was from a green dragon auoer9which I killed)'s master. i just assumed that they'd leave the freezing and teleblocking out of F2P... This is totally not coo...

I just finished doing this to get my bow to 180k. Also, people with lumbridge respawns can use the hole in the castle basement. You could bank at the chest if you want to use food to last longer. Sorry if this is bumping an old post, but I found this through a link...

Another thing, I really see this as a counter to the God Wars Gungeon update. It is extremely difficult to solo the bosses (I honestly don't care about what the cocky people who disagree have to say), and everybody, most likely including Jagex, knows that lootshare is rubbish. This will be very discouraging to team monster hunters.

This pretty much killed PvP combat... The dueling arena changes stuck in the knife and now they've gone and twisted. Good think I've never pked/staked(wll...). I'm scared about these new monsters and how they'll affect green dragon hunting and abyss crafting... Suppose I'll just steer clear of the wilderness and let other people die for a bit. Is it just me or is Jagex slowly converting this to a single player game? I've always tried to be self-dependent, but it's nice to be lazy now and again... And one more thing, it'll take me ages to collect green hides now that I can't burst people at low health, and how am I supposed to get more food at the agility course? Walk to the arena? Blasphemy!

But, not Barrows Item It does not increase your chance whatsoever. That was all a rumour that people have latched onto. Satenza did an experiment (and I did one also) and he and I determined Kill Count has NO EFFECT whatsoever on your chances. It is completely random. I once did I think a 180+ Kill Count and got 800 Gp. Then another time I did a 10 Kill Count and got a triple drop. So.... EDIT: This is not true, it all depends on luck. I tried getting Kill Counts from 6-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40 and 41-50. No difference. I did I think 20 runs each. And yes, I ran many many experiments about Barrows. There have been quoted Jagex answers to queries which stand against your claims, but I'm no expert, so I can't say anything definitive from my experience. I usually get a kill count of 12-15(most often 13), and I usually get around 200 profit minds, 50-100 profit deaths, and around 50 bloods or racks. I've noticed that when i go the two items that I have so far(12 kc both times) I got a much larger amount of runes and gold coins...

the minimum that you should have is actually 750k, not 75k, because your workers use 10% every day. I suggest 10 workers on coal, which is the most profitable of the resources if it's immediately sold and you don't consider the bonus materials, and 5 workers on maples which are not very profitable but give nests which usually have tree seeds, rings, and eggs, so maples can let you train fletching, farming, firemaking, and ventually summoning if i read the developement diary right.

From your signature I see that you have 64 magic, so i don't see why you'd be so reluctant to use the obviously implied method. the quest does unlock new attack spells, so it would make sense to use the ones that you already have to earn them.

It took me 3600 tokens. I got bronze and iron maybe 200 tokens. It took me 3300 tokens to get steel, this was not fun by the way, and I actually gave up and came back about a month later. Then I got a black, mith, addy, and rune in like 10 kills. I was so happy lol.

Well I get back 200*4000 or so gp back from selling the coal with an added 60*4500 or so gp from the maples every week. I think that adds up to a bit less than 1.1m every week from doing pretty much nothing. You'd have to subtract the 525k maintenance of course, but it's still a nice little boost. MtK charges 46.1 or 56.1gp for maples, so it would be cheaper than whatever the were selling them at on the forums.

Cave horrors use magic attacks as well, but jungle horrors are pure melee. So melee armour would work better than dragonhide.

I think that maple longs are members only items, but I'm not sure about that. The best item for a F2P to high alch in large numbers would probably be steel plates.

Do "Throne of Miscellania" and "Royal Trouble" if you haven't, an set the maples to 10 workers. That'd be the cheapest way, but you wouldn't be able to make full use of it until you can put at least 750k into the coffers. You should probably cut and fletch willows while your workers are cutting maples.

yes, jungle horrors are extremely annoying. I do the tasks sometimes, but I usually burthorpe them. Just go to a full worrld and stand near the lake I think there are 3 respawns, just let your character stand there and maybe right click the death piles ever now and again to sift through the garbage.

You could get 44 runecrafting and then gradually craft about 35k natures, which would probably take around 40 hours, I'm guessing. You could probably alch battlestaves but I'm not sure how profitable that is. You could fletch and sell around 140k yew longs. You could kill around 2000 green dragons(If my calculations on that are correct I might try this) and sell the bones and hides. I'm pretty sure that you'd make a bit less if you only sold the bones and crafted/high alched the hides. You could do some barrows runs. You could kill around 2000 aviansies and sell the addy bars while high alching dragon daggers along the way. Umm...yeah.

The buyer gets the difference, this is in the knowledge base, why doesn't anybody ever read that?
