Once I got the crafting level to cut onyx's(which was less than a week ago) I checked the prices on all onyx items on the GE. Rings of stone were around 1 mil cheaper than onyx(uncut), cut onyx's were around 300k cheaper than uncut ones. Unenchanted onyx amulets were about 300k cheaper than cut onyx's. Furies were about 100k cheaper than furies... I didn't think to check the prices of berserker necklaces or whatever the bracelets are. If any of those prices are even close to being correct, the onyx business isn't very profitable for crafters and mages. Then again, I'm typing this up from memory... I do clearly remember heavy losses, though. At the time I was thinking that it might be more effective to sell to players directly, but the new trading limit will force people to make the above losses.

I was checking the high alch return from dragon darts when I noticed that the item database had an entry for dragon dart tips, but not dragon darts. So I thought that I might give a tiny bit back to Tip.It wih a submission. The High Level Alchemy value is 300 gp. The darts gives a +18 range attack bonus. You get them from adding feathers to tips looted from a dragon impling. I'm assuming that they weigh nothing like most stackables. I could get the low alch and shop buying prices, but I think that those can be calculated from the high alch value. Here is a picture of the range bonus, high alch coins, item, and what it looks like equipped. Here's a picture without the lines incase those are in the way... I hope that that helped.

Nah, probably not. :shame: Actually that sounds completely right. I've only ever gotten rings and seeds while chopping, but I've gotten several of the old eggs from MtK. I just cut over 3k willows and got about 8 nests(yes I have a rabbit's foot), and none of them had eggs... It might be important to know that I don't watch the screen while cutting, and I may have lost a few nests...

I(and my big brother) have been saying that I waste way too much of my life on this game. This crap's addicting... I'm just a sophomore, so I'm seriously going to try to cut back on how much I play this game. I'm sure that I play much more than three hours a day... I pretty much go to school, wrestling or football practice depending on the season, play runescape and sleep... I honestly hope that some uncontrollable event like me getting hacked will shake me off of this game...but I know that I'm much to cautious/untrusting for that to happen... I hope that I get bored of this game soon likde I did about 2 years ago...and I'm really regretting becoming a member now... Well that's enough 3 consecutive periods for one post, and to all current RS players, have fun wasting however much of your life that you do on this game...

1. F2P will NEVER have anything available to them that people who don't. 2. Any member could just take a trip to a free world.

Does anyone actually buy dragon spears? I've only ever seen one and the guy holding it said i was a trophy, but then again i didn't know what it was until I asked so may have seen one without knowing...

if you said take 3-5 minutes out of your time to go to varrok for 10k now I would say, "That's nice of you but no thanks." Now if you had said the exact same thing in the same situation 3 years ago(I've been a member for 3-4 months), I would say, "..." because I'd already be across the river and running north, or maybe walking at an excited pace because there was no running in classic, and I'm not sure how long we've had RS2...

I think that they should leave it as it is and NOT make pure ess available to free players. Pure essence is only used(by smart players) when they are making member's only runes. Aire, water, earth, fire, mind, and body runes are the only F2P craftable ones, so the only use for pure ess would be selling, and I doubt that agex would add in something exclusively used to make money that wasn't possibly convertable into experience.

Most trades are done in highly populated world where you can't see what the other person is typing, so being muted only stops you from advertising a buy/selling price. There is rarely only 1 person selling anything, so just go to another person to trade. Also, you could always just refuse to accept the trade. I like to put up my own money to show a buyer what to pay if it's hard to calculate or if they're being a cheap nub. This won't matter anyways after this annoying new trade limit... And another thing, the GE is rubbish for selling most things in large numbers. the only exceptions that I can think of are astral runes and water filled/empty vials. I had 8k coal in the GE for a full week after it was introduced...

I am almost certain that Wolf Whistle/at least part of Summoning will be accesible to F2P for two reasons... 1. It's a combat skill, so I'm assuming that it'll end up like magic where certain spells are inaccesible in the free lands, but it still has the same affect on combat levels, etc... 2. This is not a good time for Jagex to be alienating ANYONE. I'm pretty surethat the vast majority of members(including me) were free players for an extensive amount of time before anteing up the cash. A new skill also seems like a good way to get back some of their lost customers a bit earlier. They WILL eventually get all of them back, seeing as how new players who are still joining by the way, have nothing to complain about losing seeing as how they never experienced them. EDIT: so that's at least on new F2P skill, but seriously doubt that any member's skills will be given up, or that any new F2P skills will be seen in the future. If I remember correctly, the last F2P quest was introduced with runecrafting which was way back when RS2 was released... I don't think we'll be getting a new skill any time soon.

I'm not a big fan of pking... I've only ever actually killed green dragon hunters, people who've attacked me, or some random guy when I ran out of food in the agility arena lol. However, the wilderness is suppsed to be wild, unexpectable etc... etc... I honestly have lost interest in abyss crafting because it's so boring now. It was fun to get randomly attacked by some loser and then come back and kill them... Also, if you "set foot in the wilderness," you get a big ol' wrning message that tells you to be prepared. Just because you don't "want" to fight doesn't mean that you aren't "prepared" to be attcked. Being "prepared" isn't necessarily fighting back. It could be sacrificing 1 or 2 inventory spots to bring along an anti-poison or 1 click teleport, or you could click that little "run" thing and then move away at an accelerated rate.

This is absolute rubbish! There better be a way to deal with high quantity sales where a 10k difference could be made by a 1 or 2 gp change in the unit price... It's also rubbish how they're limiting the quest point bonus to the person with less points. How does that help at all? Most people are too lazy to do quests, so my shiny cape would be meaningless(for trading).

Skilling is boring, and I don't feel like working when I'm playing a game. Quite a strange comment from someone with 87 mining and 78 smithing.... Is that pure ess and gold gauntlets I smell? Thank you! All of these lazy wippersnappers coming into the game are getting annoying... Try superglass make(77 mage) to make orbs and power them then make and enchant battlestaves(66 crafting). I'm sure that lazy people could just buy the staves off of the Ge, or slightly less lazy people could buy pre-powered orbs. I've heard good things about enchanting bolts... DO NOT use plank make, as that spell is more expensive than just buying planks from players... The Mage Training Arena is cheaper now because of the decrease in the costs of runes...but then again it' also less profitable due to the decrease in price of Infinity items... Maybe try alching steel plates? I'm not lazy so I don't know the buying prices, but the alching price is somewhere between 1.5 and 2k. I'm sure that some crafters sell their bodies/vambraces (chaps are a huge loss), so try to get some of them. the green body alching price is around 4.6k, I think. You could always be a man and bolt irons/caged greaters/ankous/whatever the hell you want to kill like I do. High alching has lowered my respect for low leveled magic capes quite a bit... F2Pers could use earth strike(1 less air rune than fire if I remember correctly), but magic training in F2P pretty much sucks however you do it...

-You could catch about 300 red chins that would make... 210k? Then buy a few glories and get crafting... -I'm pretty sure that you can make...water? battlestaves and alch them, thats always profitable but could take a while... -I'm not sure if fletching is profitable anymore..but maybe try that... -You could sell maybe monks, lobs, sharks.. use your imagination... I'd be leaning towards hunteing or rune crafting by the way.

You could make and alch iron plates. There's a tiny profit there.

Did you ever think that maybe the experience from your first failure is what made the difference? I'm poor so a yes would be nice :lol:

What's all this "Dark?" talk? I've just been calling them barrows gloves... Also, I've been told that barrows and dragon gloves' prices have recently been decreased to 100k. Can anyone confirm this? I'm not logged in at the moment, so I can't check the chest...

This doesnt seem much faster, and also much more expensive than using a mounted glory to bank in edgeville and teleporting back to your house... Which would cost 1 law and 1 earth or air(depending on your staff) per trip. This way also earns you a little bit of magic experience on the side... That would be about 350 gp per tip * 8 = 2800? My mental math may be fuzzy but 2.8k seems like a good deal less than 5k... just sayin...

I apologize, sincerely, for any hesitance I had towards recognizing your intelligence. Brings a tear to my eye to see someone who thinks vaguely similar to me. Anyways, Jagex will not remove randoms because that would be giving in to a demand. If they did that, they'd have all kinds of nonesense being thrown at them. i would like to see randoms dialed back a bit though... Also some randoms are decent, I honestly enjoy this new classroom event, and it would be a shame if they cut out Evil Bob's Island before I got the event, I would really like to have a full green music list...

They don't really mimick tradition pkers they mimick the the rare elite player killer mage hybrid with infinite food and the ability to walk thrrough walls... Oh wait that didn't exist... Takes skill to surpass the ones you're mimicking, most pkers were just a random nuisance who would throw a few specs at you and then flee if you posed any real threat. Also, I've been around just about every part of the wild, and I've olny been suscesfully teleblocked twice. I'm not sure about failed attempts... These are definately much worse than average pkers, and whats worse is they dropped one in the agility course. That was just mean...

Well this is the story of how I got my first every blackmark(1 tenth of a blackmark actually), and my first ever 10 or so minute mute.
