  1. They really are not that much slower on each kill than sara swords. I actually took both on one run and switched back and forth just to test that. However, even if each kill is slightly slower(and sometimes kills are faster, it varies of course), you get more kills in in the end because your prayer lasts longer. I personally noticed the difference between 60ish crimsons per trip going up to 70 to 75ish(79 is my personal best). I'm not quite sure what the standard "average" is now, and if that is bad, then you can disregard my advice  I'm sure that some people may disagree, and I used to say that too, but you should really test it out for yourself, and just use whatever you like best.
  2. I got in one kill with a black mask, BGS(specced 12 ftl....), and terorbird(I hate wasting turtles lol), and I had used about half of my food, and probably could have killed another, but really had no reason to. I honestly just tried it to see if i could, and no, it's not worth it. Just go with a partner or two.
  3. I take... +Worn -Black mask or neitiznot(slayer helm for me now woot) -Glory -Godsword or sarasword(I'm starting to preferr a BGS there because the added prayer bonus makes a huge difference) -karils top -karils bottom -dragon boots -Ring of wealth(I personally think that the Fremminick rings are a waste, and waterfiends actuallly have good drops after the slayer update, also this may effect charm drops) -Quest cape(a trimmed skillcape or a fire cape would be better, of course) +Inventory -Home teletabs -50 Swallow whole scrolls(usually only use 3 or so) -Holy wrench -Dragon mace(for special attacks, remember to change to crush) -1 of each basic charm (placeholder) -2 Super attack and super strength potions -8 prayer potions -1 Bunyip(I can usually last for the time between the Bunyips death and the time until prayer potions run out on HP that I have) -Slayer gem on task -Games necklace (to the deposit box after teleport) +Stuff and what not Just run south passed the dragons with magic prayer on, go west and then north to the waterfiends. switch to range prayer, sip super pots, and start killing them. Use the 4 mace specs when available(remember to switch style). I sip the super pots again every time that I start using a new prayer potion(other than the first one). That way, they both run out at the same time. Also, remeber to pick up raw lobsters for extra food, (I can't cook sharks) they drop 10 lobsters at a time now, and 4 sharks(I think). Also, I leave on rapid heal the entire time. I'm sure I forgot something...so someone else finish that off.
  4. Those aren't new, they've been there at least since I did that quest which was some time ago.
  5. Nooooo they're moving around the inventory again! I fear change nooooo! Other than that, nice job Jagex. I hate getting used to thing...
  6. I just checked the neew prices, and coal has gone up 40 gp since the last time I checked, swordfish is down a bit, and tuna stayed consistant. So, the new profit margins, not considering bonus materials are... Coal ~ +134.4 gp/coal...147% gp return Fish ~ +111.8 gp/fish...128% gp return Flax ~ +49 gp/flax...123% gp return Maples ~ -12.1/maple...22% gp return(78% lost) So coal is the most profitable again. I really did this more for me than anything by the way, so I'm sorry if i went off topic or whatever.
  7. On that note, 10 workers on raw fish is currently the most profitable setting. I have 5 on maples as well, but I keep my seeds(I sell magics because I can't plant them). 5 workers on coal would be more gauranteed profit. You may want to check out GE prices for yourself, though. I'm sure that the new quest's high smithing requirement caused coal prices to rise, so I may change my setup before collecting tonight.
  8. I would definately say no regarding the rate that you get strength experience. Also, sara Swords are just generally more fun to use and are very effective at waterfiends. That really shouldn't be a priority though if you wanted to buy something for 6m, that is unless you were adding that 6m on to money that you already have to buy the sword. Making B2P tabs is pretty good money, by the way. You may get bored of the repeatativeness, though.
  9. Between levels 52 and 57, you might want to use terrorbirds. The scrolls let you run the entire time and you can make up to 6 extra pouches each run. Well you could actually make up to 12 extra, but that would be a lot more hassle.

You could get mining up at the same time with iron and rings of forging. You could also make emerald, diamond, or ruby bolts. It's actually slightly more profit if you sell the bolts unenchanted, by the way. Well at least with ruby and diamond, never checked emerald. On second though I just looked at your level and it takes 73 to make adamant bolts, so no rubies or diamonds. I don't know about mithril though...
  11. Bunyips are way better than titans, titans suck. (Looks like you edited your post a bit before i quoted it, fast finger there) Wll that was rude and you seem to have glazed over my post without reading it. I actually do know that they use blue charms, you may or may not have noticed that I suggested buying pouches, and I also know that they use scrolls, which I directly mentioned. You also seem to have neglected to notice that I said that they were too expensive to use in normal training. You also seem to have neglected to post anythin at all to indicate why extacly "titans suck," and I don't appreciate being called a "moron." Perhaps if you actually gave some reasons to back up your claim, then more people would pay attention. Bunyips can heal a maximum of 352 HP in their life time, titans have a limit too, but this depends entirely on how fast you take damage. However, I used 62 scrolls once on one titan at DKs(spins were hitting me a lot for some reason) and that adds up to....496 HP recovered. Titans also last 18 minutes longer(Fire)...and I did not include the number of defense points that were boosted or the fact that I can outlast most people on brews and guthans at DKs with me just taking 1 brew and restore for emergencies in veracs/karils.
  12. Well that's weird as hell, I suppose I'll get one when I feel like it. Where do you get tghe parrots, by the way?
  13. Lol, level 79 summoning titans are junk and hit a max of like 15, attack slow, and are really innaccurate. I use a bunyip for pretty much all my tasks, usually a super set, one bunyip, and some food (or SGS :P) works really well. Well that's just completely wrong :| The titans have a max of 15(The fire one at least), they have decent accuracy, and their scroll heals 8 and boosts your defence. They are MUCH better for healing than bunyips, but you have to use scrolls, which cost around 500 each(or pouches and convert them to scrolls) which is too expensive in my opinion to use regularly on slayer tasks. They're great at DKs and GWD, though. If you want a good fighting fighting familiar around that level, use a talon beast. They attack faster than a whip, and each attack hits 3 times(up to 5 each for a total of 15). They are very accurate, and they attack extremely fast. At least one of the hits usually does damage. I still take guthans on every task that I can use it, and I usually have a bunyip with me, and I have 86 defense, so I'm not quite sure what Robin is talking about.
  14. Not a lot at 63. You will be catching 100-150 an hour give or take. 150 being the highest. Stick with the dragons its about as good as it gets with the low RC'in lvl and low range level you have. Knowing these forums, that way won't be as quick anymore with everyone who's reading this going off to try it. There are hundreds of ways to exploit the GE. The best ways are usually ruined when a lot of people found out about them, though. So you're pretty much on your own in figuring them out :(

Damn straight. I'd stick with dragon boots and use the springs to avoid bandos monsters until you can afford some useful bandos gear such as the chestplate or that shiny sword. There are no Bandos monsters inside the Armadyl area, and there aren't that many Aviansie close to bandos monsters outside, so I don't see how that would be a problem...
  16. Very nice guide, which would have been nicer if I'd noticed it a bit earlier...You seem to have done everything prettty similar to me, except for the bit about training with stranger plants. Granite Lobsters give more experience and the second is easily bough off the GE now. They do cost 1 or 2 GP more per xp point, but they decrease the amount of charms that you hav to use. Also, I think that you said that the Level 79 titans heal 13 and boost defence by 12... I get 8 HP healed/boosted, and I seriously doubt that there can be a difference of 4 extra points between 90(me) and 99 which you may have but I don't know. I never really payed so much attention to the defence boost  but i think that I get around 10 points boosted...
  17. Gargoyles, Abberant Spectres, Kalphite of all sorts(notabley Gaurdians and Soldiers), and Wallasalkis(Walruses in waterbirth) all have a significantly higher drop rate for blue charms. Waterfiends, Rock Lobsters, Greater and Black demons, Dust Devils, and Nechyraels have a noticable tendency to drop crimson charms. Jellies, ALL adult Dragons(Excluding the King), Basilisks, and Bloodvelds have pretty frequent green charm drops, but you shouldn't really hunt for these. Giant Rock Crabs, Fire Giants...there are A LOT of choices if you want gold charms, but there is really no reason to hunt for them as you'll get them whether you want to or not. You could also try killing Bork daily in the Chaos Tunnels. He always drops(I think) 3 Green, 7 Crimson, and 5 Blue charms along with some coins and gems and what not. I suggest waterfiends. I find Rock Lobsters to be unreliable, boring to kill, and excessively wasteful. Waterfiends are pretty consistant in their drop rate, but that depends on how you kill them and all that. I usually get 60 to 70ish on trips, but I'm sure some people get more, some less. You really should not rely on Blue charms for training, they are a nice boost, though. Golds really are not that good for training, but they are nice and cheap to use. Greens are horrible, and before the introduction of shard swapping I advised against using them in bulk at all. I suggest that you only train with greens when you have a sufficiently high level to trade in the pouches.
  18. This is just...excessively stupid...I mean...honestly what the hell man? I am just going to say; NO, Revennants do not drop saradomin godswords OR saradomin swords, and anyone who believes otherwise is a fool. Hat's off to whoever started that nonesense.
  19. fix'd for ya. the debate about the extra stats is kind of... moot. you need no defensive stats, but the attack stats might be worth it. as for the prayer stats, glory and salve are the same +3 prayer This is what I was thinking, and a Fury only adds 2 prayer bonus points. The limiting factor at spectres is usually inventory space, not prayer points(at least for me) and that's with only picking up valuable herbs(no cadantines or other such rubbish). Is 10 slash bonus worth more than 20% accuracy? I'm guessing that it is not, but I don't know how exactly those percentages and bonuses effect the damage you do.... On second thought, the question would be whether 5% extra bonus from salve over helm would be better than 10 slash bonus...but again, I don't know.
  20. Is full void armour along with the ranger helm better or worse to use against dragons than dragon slayer gloves and black dragonhide/archer helm? The 15% bonus slayer experience means nothing to me, by the way. I was just wondering about accuracy, power, and what not.
  21. Hate and slight irritation gathered in my mind as i read the "shard prices will be halved" part, yet it dissipated once I noticed the "gold and/or shards will be reimbursed part" Jagex is getting a bit better at preventing riots I see... Also, preventing a whole bunch of cheapos like me from refusing to the level the skill until the discount. Oh and by the way... WOOT 1920 practice SAT woot! (If that's actually bad and I didn't know it, don't say anything, and just go away...)
  22. I expected them to do what they SAID they were going to do, and let PLAYERS decide the prices instead of pulling ridiculous numbers out of their derrieres. WILL YOU EVER LISTEN? Look, the skill is new. Therefore people would put INSANE prices. Jagex will most likely remove it in time, and let the players DECIDE then. Let the skill be out for a while first. People like you(ones who disagree with me) make me sick. *condesends* It is completely sensible for someone to be unhappy for the game company saying that they would do something, and then...not doing it. Also, what sort of rubbish prices would godswords and the like have if the GWD had been released this weak. Tipiters these days...
  23. I still have my 0.1/10 blackmarks for responding to some chat mod telling some random idgit not to break some rule(impersonating jagex I think), by saying "hey, let's all go impersonate jagex staff!" I still find it funny that they included my "lol" 2 lins down in the evidence. I feel really bad for anyone who got banned because of this... Sorry guys that kinda sucks...
  24. I liked how only one other person thought to hop onto the glider steps away from the quest to the wolves in feldip. Pretty much every other kill gave me a charm.
  25. Running from piscatoris bank to the obelisk and back is the fastest way to infuse...stuff. This does require swan Song though...
