  1. Cannon Max hits, it was just a test!
  2. Finished the survey. It was quite interesting to actually analyze what I do on RS on daily basis. I hope my answers will help you :) Best of luck getting the results.
  3. Isn't the alternative to this jump-squats? Exactly. The main difference besides the jumping part is that in the full-squat your thighs go down to the knee-level or even lower, but in the jump-squats, you stop the movement before you reach the knee-level. The angle between your feet and your thighs should be around 110-120 degrees. This is about the same as in the take-off.
  4. Basically, the rule is: jump to jump higher. So do a variety of jumps every day. Jumps from the half-squat in the gym, jumps over hurdles on the track, imitation-jumps (trying to hit a branch or a basketball ring), jumps with different weights etc.. You can find plenty of high-jumper exercises on Youtube as well. Oh and avoid doing too many full-squats. They're practically useless if you want to jump high. The movement length is too long and speed is too slow to have any effect on your fast muscles (the ones that work on the take-off). If you are already experienced in jump-training then you could do depth-jumps. They are quite rough on your knees and feet, but are very good when it comes to simulating the forces at the take-off moment. It adapts your feet to the intense forces of take-off. For me, high jump training has a very good effect on my dunking abilities. Although my dunking technique and pure vertical leap aren't that great, I can still get a decent flight from higher speed just because of my high jump training.
  5. As I'm a semi-pro high jumper the max results are not exactly part of my program, but this is what I've reached with my training. Clean: 92,5kg = 204lbs Jerk: 80kg = 176 lbs Snatch: 65kg = 143lbs (I hate that) Press: 75kg = 165lbs (useless factor anyway) Squat: 95kg = 209lbs (never tried max, should get like 15kg more) Most of my weigh-training consists of jumps from half-squat (up to 130kg) and snatches. Plus of course some high jump-specific exercises. Oh and I'm 20 years old, 1.91 (6'3") tall and 81kg (179lbs).
  6. As I'm studying chemistry in the university I've come across many cool experiments. One really fun compound is dimanganeseheptoxide (Mn2O7). It easy relatively easy to make: just pour some concentrated sulfuric acid on potassium permanganate. In contact with organic compounds it ignites them and might explode at the same time. I also know how to make more than 10 different high explosives, but for obvious reasons, this isn't the place to tell you how. Has anyone tried producing sodium via electrolysis of molten NaCl and CaCl2 mixture. From the web I found that it requires like 20kA current and that seemed a little repulsive for me, but perhaps some of you has some experience with it at much lower currents and has produced pure sodium with a success.
  7. Exactly the same with me :P
  8. So? There are items that are supposed to be out of reach for most players. You don't expect every person on Earth to be able to own a Rolls Royce, a personal island and a private jet, do you? If Jagex was to set the prices of items to their real values, then the prices would eventually start to drop to some more sensible level because of easier trading, Coinshare etc.. Just to call people to stop junk trading is already a failure in its essence.
  9. I've had a party for all my 99's. The first one was ranged, 4 years ago. I held it at the mage hut. Also did a drop party there :D My last one was for 4 skills: strength, prayer, magic and cooking. It's actually much more fun to have a party for many 99 skills :P So next time I throw a party for a 99 skill, it will be either for a very difficult skill or for many skills at once.
  10. Most probably not going to happen, but 'Skill Achievement Diaries' would be great update. List of tasks to complete within a skill etc. For instance kill 3 of each slay monster and get a task from every slay master for the Slayer AD. Other than that a new skill is always welcome. And finally get MEP3 and eastern lands done.
  11. Someone who hasn't completed watchtower quest, should try the slayer gem on the 3rd floor. I think the room with that wizard's machine working is located somewhere else and the one with the machine not working is located in the correct place.
  12. It should be just how much money comes from advertising/f2p.
  13. He really should move to Estonia. He'd get fined for $100 here, if not even less :P
  14. 135 combat 2133 total cash 11m Net worth around 90-100m. Quite poor for a high lvl because I've invested quite a lot in skilling and I rarely do big monster hunting anymore.
  15. 19. Turning 20 in 4,5 months.
  16. Max HP can't be raised to 149 or 200 without raising the max xp cap. As 200m xp stands for lvl 126, it would be enough if the max hp would be even that. It would give us a bit more resistance but not make us ultimately resistant to anything.
  17. Multitask almost everywhere. Watch some TV-shows or do some programming or whatever you feel the urge to do.
  18. Then everyone would play like 'Galaxyg' did :P
  19. It affects your vision in the same way as playing any other game for several hour a day does.

It isn't sleeping. It is very awake and "working" all the time. That black hole causes the galaxies to rotate. The fact that we haven't been sucked in is because our galaxy is just huge: 100000 LY in diameter. We are moving towards that black hole all the time, but not on a path directed straight into the black hole, but on a circular path. that way it takes billions of years for us to be sucked into that black hole.
  21. Omarsherif is 70+ years old. His daughter is Ladydejavu. I think that Omarsherif is the oldest player around. And omg what stats for that age :D
  22. I think the smartest thing Jagex could do with a new expensive item, would be disabling selling it through GE for a certain time and not putting a price limit on it. That way players could eventually set a correct price for the item and the luckiest players, who get the item first, could still make a fortune off it.
  23. That's actually a pretty good idea  Unfortunately it would also remove some of the old legends, who haven't played for years, from the hiscores.
  24. Quit button is that X above the minimap. I'm pretty sure that this map icon is for some kind of world-map.
  25. The thing I love the most about this update, is the support of anti-aliasing. I think that most of the images have been done without it, because the edges look pretty rough to me. I really hope that AAx4 doesn't kill my hd2900pro card, like it does in Crysis
