From my experiance, they normaly dont try to steal just the monster your fighting, its the ONLY monster there. So normaly they dont really have a choice but to steal your monster, unlike the other courts available in your post.

well hey it would make a heck of a lot of sence, cause in the advertizment the guy didnt look at all afraid of the bird in it. so that means that the guy (probably) actually owned the bird, and knew he wasnt going to get ataked by it.

It depends on what skill it was in. if i was 21 ranked in magic, id go with that, but 1900 total means you skills average at 80+...so i duno

I think the matuity level of updates has gone up, but it was really low a few months ago. I bet all the older players complaining caused Jagex to make some better updates.

nope, i just got onto runescape.com, went to the world select screen and thats wat it said... so i clicked on the "choose the best world for me" and i was in in a couple of trys.

I thought this was kinda weird and i wanted to see if anyone else was experiancing it... it says that world 2 is offline, yet I'm in it with several other people... and it says world 2 is the best world for me :/ this is not fake, if you were wondering. if this is in the wrong forum please move it :)

i agree with most of the points of this article, but i dout jagex will. whats wrong with dumbing down the game to kid-level? yea, they may lose a few older players but they will sttill have most of their players. and while some of the older players may be unhappy, they've still got tons of younger players that love it. since younger players take up the majority of the game, Jagex is gona go for them to make the most money and to make the most ammount of people happy. now personaly i would make a new section of the game (maby a giant island to the south? :D like half as big as all of runescape is now) that would be very chalenging and rewarding (with blood and gore), but less of just constant clicking. also make it an island so big that it would be almost impossible to map out... at least for a while. a few hidden caves here and there, a few mountains with monsters more dangerous than lv 38 wolves... yea i think it would turn out pretty sweet. the only problem is, it would take forever to produce that kinda update. so it'll probably never happen. but one can always wish... and maby the new god wars cave will be something like that :P Snake

Good luck with giving up the ciggys. If F2P was truely a demo only, then I'd tend to agree. However if it is truely a demo, then they may as well time-bomb it. After 100 hours of playing you either go member or don't play anymore. No, I think F2P is more than just a demo. It is an important part of the RS landscape both to Jagex and P2Pers. If that was not the case, then they wouldn't have bothered moving the party room, wouldn't bother allowing F2Pers to clan chat, etc. It is a break-even system whereby a number become members because they want more of the game, but also part of many P2Pers gamelife, be it merchanting, PKing, or something else. Do we 'deserve' anything ... possibly not. Do I expect more bank space ... no. However I can see some justification for it to happen, but not just for the sake of it. Part of a bigger change, not just because there are people who will constantly ask. Oh, and it isn't completely about random clothing, that's just the easiest example to use. The ultimate question is How important do Jagex see F2P is in the greater scheme of the game? Obviously important enough to keep it going (for now ... wonder why the F2P poll came out?? Seeing if it is really worthwhile to continue?????) how do u know that ftp will be able to clan chat? but imo, ftp is important to get people to join members, not to keep ftpers playing. and giving ftp more bankspace would incurage more people to stay ftp and not join members.

i think the reason why Jagex hasn't given ftp bankspace yet- and trust me they probably should of years ago, its always been a problem- is because they don't want people to be ftp FOR LIFE. they want all of the people on ftp to be: 1. people just trying out the game, so that they might become a member later, 2. members that lost their membership for a while because they dont have the money at the time or are having credit card problems, 3. people who have a member acount and are just fooling around or pking or watever on their ftp acount. as you can tell, all of these people have or will pay Jagex at some point. another thought is that not only when you become a member do you get several more skills, much more map space and tons more quests, but you also get the ability to train just more than just a few skills. if you're a ftper, if you train combat, cooking and fishing, then you could easily have a full bank. if your a member, you have the ability to train all the skills avalable to you and still have bankspace. or at least i do... well, thats my argument :) Snake
