Front page hp :) I am the osrs version of miles15 :p 30m nmz points atm. Spent 15m on snape grass or somthing once stupidly, now i hoard and do herb boxes. Spent many millions on imbues also.

Personally, I enjoy farming very much, which makes it easier for me. I have not warbanded any of my farm xp. About 100m of it was doing herbs and watermelons as well. Have only done trees lately due to lack of time I can commit to checking herbs. That 150m xp is years in the making. But if you hate it just do mage trees twice a day and palms once, and calquat once. It's cheap honestly, about 3m a day (idk current prices). A couple of flips with 50m cash can easily make that back. Livid farm spell remote farm also owns for farming. unspam- 110m more, hopefully 4-5 months.

A major part of this update is leveling the playing field. A major part of iron man is do it yourself. IMO it was more reasonable to expect everyone to ironman legitimately prior to this, as there were no high scores and players did it because they actually enjoy it. Add in high scores and it completely changes players perspectives and reasons for playing the game. They will do things they hate for high scores. Ironman player A will not use keys, but ironman players B C D etc will, solely for high scores purposes. This is not iron man. This is diy with treasure hunter, and that is what I will be calling it. I guess I'll wait for iron man in OSRS, where there is no treasure hunter. edit- and when they say "an integral part of the game", I assume they are referring to integral in generating revenue. Which is fine in my opinion. Times change, methods evolve, that's the way the game market is moving and I don't doubt they would not be able to sustain rs on a business model that generates revenue solely from membership (especially at $5 or $6 a month). But why can't we have ONE update that is just because WE want it? Why can't they give us a freebie? This won't really generate new members, this is for existing members to make new accounts. Charge double the membership price for this and allow a method to use bonds on the account from a main for membership purposes only. Maybe that's not the answer, just a quick idea, but it's better than allowing treasure hunter.

Someone such as himself, with so many years on internet foums, should realize sarcasm does not come across well in these forms. And it doesn't change the fact that his replies, while possibly sarcastic, still had nothing to do with the original posts anyway.

You're assuming he meant beauty, and not something like a cool design, an iconic look, or even a neat look before. Pingioun is using the illogical "strawman" fallacy; he is presenting his own position as reasonable by misrepresenting the initial argument/fabricating a new one. Original argument was "demons look terrible", his response assumed the original poster mean they are not pretty, which was never made clear anyway. But instead of talking about that further he responds with a completely off-tangent/new argument unrelated to any of the posts. He is also assuming that if anyone doesn't like an updated model that means we only ever want the old versions. He's making a lot of assumptions, side stepping any rational response by creating new arguments.

I have been using it immediately and I love it. I was also using the web version, but this is so much more accessible and user friendly. Love the push notifications as well. Good update from Jagex.

I am still skeptical on the arrest until I hear it from somewhere other than the people responsible for the attacks. I certainly hope it is true. There are very few people I'd wish jail/prison time on, but these [wagon] need to be made an example of. Servers have been fine for about 24 hours now too.

The testing part is spot on but the second half needs an amendment. "We tested it as normal players and died therefore we say it is hard, but real players will sail through it until a handful abuses the shit out of it and makes billions/gets 200m then we over buff it in a kneejerk reaction and then take months (about 12 months because yea that's a year but technically it's also months) to balance it right."

the comp cape's benefits have almost nothing to do with beating any bosses besides the one that grants items related to it you could own all of the individual components of it for months and still be unable to use any of them together, due to an artificial barrier that says "you're only worthy of being able to use things you already own, together, once you jump through these hoops" i like the concept of the comp cape, but the way it holds actual benefits hostage (instead of being just a prestige item) just encourages more of the same bullshit that makes rs so toxic Maybe I misread your post, because what I inferred from that is the benefits of having the cape (which are stats and prestige) do not have anything to do with bossing. Which doesn't make any sense to me, as half the benefit of the cape is stats for bossing/pvm.

"multi-logged accounts must not interact with each other to exploit gameplay mechanics" using alts to do the above mentioned things would certainly fall under that, and therefore be breaking the multi logging rule. However, everyone knows Jagex doesn't care. As an example, possibly one of the largest use of alts is to ge merch. Either so your main doesn't have to, or to buy more of an item and circumvent ge limits, or to merch more items because you have too many bils, would all certainly be exploiting gameplay mechanics. But Jagex doesn't ban for this and never has. anyone, this is offtopic so I'll leave it at that. And a picture.

They also think arma drops arma cbow imo the least thought out part of this update is that people will pay to leech certain bosses, which absolutely dissolves the entire purpose of this update for all comp and trimm comp players, while also hurting the validity of the capes themselves. whether the solution is to disallow leeching or to rethink the req, I am not sure. Either would be better, imo.

Tasks should be longer for most bosses it seems. 6 kbd and 11 gwd bosses is too short. 3 Araxxi is decent I suppose.

Old School gets everything doesn't it? Not only are pets lootsharable (thus eliminating the need for people to do FFAS, unlike in EoC where plenty of people FFA+S at Rago because the Vitalis is non-lootsharable), and the lootshae system also tells you which monster specifically was responsible for the drop. So Jelly. There is no lootshare in osrs. It's all ffa. The drops are simply announced to everyone in the boss room for convenience/quality of life and to cut down on scamming should you choose to share drops.

They briefly experimented this until the Archer's ring fiasco, after which they shut it down (there was even an official post from Jagex on Reddit which confirmed they were suspending the refund plan). Afterwards, they went back to ignoring and not acknowledging these server disruptions issues, meanwhile giving famous players refunds when they needed them. So this is indeed a change and a reversal in their policy. Can you give any proof that they only reimbursed famous players for their losses during that brief time? Who were these famous players, and how do you know no one else got reimbursed in the case of server side malfunctions/hacks?
