So all of my palms are done according to remote farm, but they are not visible in patch. And this is what my Calquat tree looks like.

Drops today was 17.3m splits. Plus the small drops.

I'm not saying he's wrong, but pretty sure he has been quoted as saying incorrect things in the past. The consensus is also that the jmods saying it's legit are not very specific. As in how did they get that many, because it's pretty much impossible to GE that many for a variety of reasons. It's also impossible to make them all. What do they mean by legit, that could also have a few different meanings. How was it confirmed that it's legit, and what's the data to back that up. imo, when a mod says it's legit they are intentionally being vague and not saying that it's legit beta. Here is a post from rsof summing it all up nicely imo- to add to that, the above quote did not consider the fact that IF he bought them all on ge then he lost ALOT of gp. They were 3m ea just a couple months ago, and 4-5m ea prior to that. cya 3t right there. The whole thing just isn't viable.

No way it's real rs3. If you think about it logically, just ignoring the massive amount of gp (which would have been over 2.5t seeing the prices of furies has fallen drastically in the last 6 months alone) there's simply no way to get that large amount of furies. It's also insanely stupid to put all that gp into furies, if it were possible. I think you're being pretty damn harsh. He simply stated his opinion and made an observation about the direction the meta games been going for years now. You don't really need to be so rude. And imo you're not doing a great job at being this social person you say you and your clan is.

I did livid a long time ago just for the remote farm spell. Sure you can use timers and stuff for trees but it makes farming so much easier, and if doing herbs it's damn near a requirement. And not long ago it was always recommended to do herb runs due to how profitable they were (and the bit of farm xp). So yea I wasted time there but at 142m farm I couldn't be more pleased with that waste.

fishing can be boosted from 71. hunter from 60. smithing from 61 or 62, not sure.

I almost feel like Jagex has focused too much on bosses to the point where there's no real point to skilling at all. Used to be, skillers could put in some hours of work and get the best gear. It would take a bit but it wasn't as ridiculous as it currently is. One of the main issues I think is that gear doesn't really require skilling resources anymore. Before pvp really died, the most common gear tended to be rune which was fine for most situations, barrows was better but still not outrageous in price with a full set taking maybe a week or 2 of skilling. That started changing it seemed with gwd, where the hilts were really expensive, they could take quite a while to earn from skilling and they didn't really require any skilling resources to create. I think Jagex needs to bring it back around and either require ores/logs/etc for repair costs or something just to give skilling a use outside of exp gain. Perhaps release some skilling materials that need to be used in conjunction with boss drops but make those resources take a while to gain with low exp rates. I feel like while bossing does deserve a higher gain per hour, it shouldn't be as huge a disparity as it is now and Jagex needs to make skilling useful again. The only thing I disagree with is that there is no real point to skilling. On the contrary, I don't think skilling has ever been more popular. One example, there are no longer dedicated pkers, pvmers, and so on. Pkers are maxed, pvmers, are maxed, every "type" of acc maxs out now. The highscores just get more and more full of 200m stats. GP/Xp ratios have never been higher (yes partly due to bots). Not going to get into more specifics. I do disagree that there is no point to skilling. It's just that now the point of skilling is simply to skill, ie get xp. Years ago it was for income and maybe some fun. It could be good to build some common resources like existing logs and ores etc into repair costs. I like that idea.

where has Jagex kept saying this? Asking because I have never read anything along these lines from Jagex.

I think it's far to early to jump to any conclusions. It's not even 24 hours after release. This boss is hard. This boss takes a learning curve. That knowledge cost money. Runescape does, believe it or not, have a very diverse group of players. I, personally, appreciate the fact that it is more common to have updates catered to specific groups of players. I like these types of updates rather than the bland boring updates that are made for everyone. I understand that many players want to do everything all the time at any time. But you can't please everyone. Some may hate this, but those that love it very well could have hated an update you liked. Not directed at anyone in particular. Just annoyed at all the people that condemn updates less then 24 hours after release.

Same here and many others are having this issue as well. There seems to be no way to fix it; the issue is on jagex end. osrs loads for me still, albeit slowly. Just dcs often. Boss looks cool. I'll try it sometime in the future but not anytime soon. Looks like they did a good job making it difficult. I personally won't take advantage of the twitch integration for rs3, but I do think it's a neat add on.

How many chests/hour do you think is possible? I think the average chest loot right now is ~69k, 32k from pieces and 37k from runes and bolts. I'm trying to work out a gp/hour figure for barrows at high combat. I really have no idea as I have not kept track at all. I was trying various methods such as black sally vs tent whip. I don't use methods like trident or ancients as it is not faster than black sally even and it's very expensive relative to the activity. I will keep track of my next 50-100 chest for a rough estimate on chests/hour.

That looks like too much effort and too tediously boring to be considered overpowered lol hmm idk looks like fun to me. I really enjoy pvm though, especially on osrs. I also like to afk skills and tryhard pvm so to each their own :P I'll definitely play around with this in the future.
