  1. And on the topic of degradation, just a note about those who think its expensive to repair. I can repair a full set of any armour from completely broken for about 180k, and im not even 99 smithing. It takes 15 hours to reach that stage. So, up until the point of where you spend more on repairs than the cost of bandos, i feel its a waste, unless you are loaded. It would take me about 4000 hours of combat with a full set of barrows on (including the helm and weapon which you should not be using) before bandos would have been a smarter choice. I hope you never reach that point.
  2. Do dailies, farm, flip (if you know how to do it well - i don't...), and runecraft. I might be biased about rcing, but it has funded all my skills and bank. I would also sell your tassies, and change your goals. bandos is more of a luxury item. I personally do not have either, and I am doing just fine. A dh plate and verac skirt are what i use. Also, there isnt much use to a BSS. An obby shield or rune defender will take its place and leave it inferior in just about any situation. I suggest using your cash to raise your skills. With higher skills, you unlock better money making abilities, so that you can THEN get luxury items :)
  3. This will be your friend. It outlines what you should do with charms. Don't jump the gun and blow useful charms too early, or save proper ones until it becomes inefficient. Check it out :) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_training#Which_Pouches_to_Make
  4. Ive been in your shoes, and I decided to go for herb before prayer. I don't do a lot of combat, so frankly, both are a waste for me. However, based on my reading, turmoil is probably more useful and effective than overloads. Granted, if you can afford both, get both. I am working through my 27k drag bones as we speak, so I follow my own advice. Give me a couple days and I will let you know which is more useful :P I have a feeling its prayer, but then again, extreme pots, super antis, spec restores, and overloads are extremely useful if you can afford to make them, while also budgeting getting the appropriate levels.
  5. You couldn't pay me enough to do werewolf. I hate that course haha.

I am a strong believer in Guthans for getting to jad. I suck at jad. Theres just so much going on at once, dealing with the healers, prayer switching, potting, etc. That is to say, I have never actually had a fire cape. However, I have no issue whatsoever getting to jad, using guthans and a rune cbow with broad bolts. Give that a go. If you want to bring a whip along with guthans, that seems just fine. Will make killing the lesser monsters a lot faster than bolts or guthan's spear. I have a feeling somebody will say that this method is outdated, but some things never go down. This is one of those things, imo.
  7. Barrows is probably your best bet, unless you are me. I was well over a 100 run dry-streak before i took my "leave" of 3 years. I never get good drops :S Anyways, cave horrors may be a short-term good idea due to the fact that black masks are being merched. If you manage to get a bunch of them and held on to them until they get dumped, you could walk away with millions more than you could have. Smokin Mills tends to get rises of like 200%, so what could be 1m becomes 2m. Masks start at 2m now, so they could end up at 4m each. If you can get 10 masks and wait for a big rise, you could be set. Good luck :) I personally rc for cash. So far, so good.
  8. If you want to kill for money, do so with melee. Ranged is too weak to viably get exp and drops. If I were you, I would do melee slayer and train ranged via chinning. The biggest time waster is trying to do two things at once, when they should really be separated entirely. Most of the time, trying to hit 2 birds with one stone often leaves you with a lesser outcome than if you had done them separately.
  9. There isn't much of a point. Most, if not all pouches have a ge value of the equivalent worth of shards. Just buy the packs of shards from any shard seller.
  10. Have you ever tried that? It sucks. I suggest sticking with the guidelines I set out. It does raise a good point, though. Summer pies are good food, as they are 2 bite, they heal a good amount, and give a slight agility boost. Definitely use those for agility when you don't have the nofail level.
  11. I would stick with gold smelting, in whichever form is most efficient for you. If you want, you can superheat while smelting without interrupting the action. If you want very fast, but far more expensive exp, you could straight up superheat gold ores. If you wanted to just smelt gold ore, you could viably do it getting 65k exp an hour and spend like 25m (assuming market prices and you sell gold bars when done). You could also check Grimy Bunyip's efficiency sheets.
  12. I would even argue to stay at the wildy course until 70 before ape. You will fail fairly often until you get into the 70s. 75 is the no-fail level. Stay at ape till 85, the gnome to 99 (of course, take the time to get the agile top when you hit 90). This is beyond what you asked, i know, but its still useful :P
  13. This is usually how I do it. It works out pretty quickly, and doesn't cost much at all.
  14. If you value afk-ability, efficiency, and achieving your goal faster, gilded altar is honestly the way to go. Back before gilded altars (yes, there was a time), ecto was pretty much all you could do for prayer. I spent hours and HOURS grinding bones to get 70 prayer. It sucked. For your sanity, I suggest against it. If you don't want the con lvls (which are totally worth it), you could use somebody else's house. It saves so much time, is more afk-able, and efficient. Give it a thought. In whichever you choose, be sure to use your best BOB.
  15. Yeah, already achieved 96 herb, and have 2.2k overloads banked atm, so I think herblore is out of the question. Other than achieving some capes, I dont see what else I could spend the money on. Furthermore, having turmoil and overloads should allow me to boss hunt properly, right? With that, I will be able to make even more money, methinks. I pretty much have everything you would ever need in a bank, apart from spirit shields, or any (overpriced) armour. I do not have bandos anymore, but I personally think that prayer outranks overrated and overpriced armour like this. Take a look at this bank pic. Its somewhat close to what I have now, just less cash. http://forum.tip.it/topic/271008-my-bank/
  16. Great, thanks :) Looks like I will be kissing 150m good bye xD Hope its worth it. The 200m i spent on herblore didn't have the effect I expected, but then again, I dont do a whole lot of combat. Maybe turmoil will fix that.
  17. Hey. So, I can afford 95 prayer right now. I was wondering if now is a good time to get it, or if there is something else I should spend my money on? From my current level, it will cost about 150m (at market price) to get this level. I am looking for opinions here. Stats are in sig.
  18. There arent many things you can do in f2p that will be as efficient as p2p, or even comparable. FM is probably your best choice at FOG, burning maples of course. Other than that, there isnt a whole lot to do. You could train combat, as previously mentioned. That is probably the next most reasonable choice. The first thing to try to do it get membs back sooner :P You can figure out a way if you really try.

Dhide is fast, but expensive exp. Battlestaffs are cheaper and pretty quick, but you are limited by how many you can buy per day, and their high cost making it potentially hard to stock up on a large amount. If you want a method that makes money, you could make molten glass (on lunars). I think its about 40-50k craft exp/hour and lots of mage exp too.
  20. 99s are overrated. It doesnt show anything. If youre getting a 99, make it a 99 you like. Dont cook for hours on end just so you can walk out with a cape. I did rc because it is my favorite skill.
  21. TBH, mouse keys arent neccessary. If you know how to click properly, you might lose one whole second by not using them.
  22. At 99, deaths are easily over 1m/hour with decent abyss runs. At 83 astrals are much better, though. Are you 99 rc? I am, and I cant get 1m an hour with deaths.
  23. Astrals. At 99, deaths can make around 600k an hour. I am pretty sure you wont make more than 400k an hour with deaths at 83. Astrals are pretty decent, or at least were when i did them.
  24. Deaths arent bad. If you can do double astrals, do that for sure. Otherwise either craft deaths or nats. Definitely do nats from 91+, and definitely do astrals from 82-91.I am fairly certain that, even at 99 rc, graahking nats is better cash than deaths.

You would be best off using karils tbh. You probably should stay away from waterfiends unless you have a bunyip or uni. Im assuming you dont based on you asking about guthans. Its worth it. Im going for a uni myself, but the bunyip works well too.
