I'd suggest you consider Team Walmart. We're a 125+ member clan with a steady recruitment of new and fairly new players. We enjoy helping out those who are just learning the game, and those who like to learn more. Our only clan requirement is that you collect your resources each week at the Clan Citadel. Our Citadel is a Tier 6 and we've just started the upgrade to a Tier 7 this week. So there's lots of work to do up there and, at your level, the experience you'd earn while working there will go a long way towards helping you get your maxed stats. Oh, right you are there. Well, in MY day, I had to get up a half hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of cold poison, walk three times across the entire map of Runescape, uphill each way, and pay MILLIONS in Runescape gold for the privilege, in my dad's pajamas, and when I got home, my mother would PK me, loot all my good stuff, bury me and dance on my grave! :blink: Am I the only person who gets the Monty Python reference? :rolleyes:

Well, it's been several days and I've still received no indication of what the infraction was. I've got no messages from Jagex and there's nothing showing on my account in terms of any further infractions. The mute effectively lasted about 18 hours -- it was supposedly a 2 day mute. Still no idea what the heck it was all about ...

Is anyone else having issues gaining access to the Gnome Stronghold? If I try to telly in, using the Spirit Tree, the screen goes black, it shows a loading to 50%, and then the entire game hangs on me. I get the same effect if I walk in too, I can get through the gate and can run north about half-way up the agility course and then I get the same screen. It makes no never mind which resolution I use. If I log out and back in, I cant get past the 50% loading level. If I switch browsers to, say, Chrome, and set the graphics level to minimum it may load. And I can get to my fruit tree and get my farm run done, but I try to return to the same space again on those settings that worked, I get the 50% load screen and it hangs again. If I switch to another browser, like Safari, it will allow me to see it again. I managed to use a glider and get into the grand tree but I was too chicken to try it any further. This is messed up. Anyone else having these issues?

You get muted before, but the message shows on login and if you try to talk. If you got muted but were not talking, you wouldn't notice. Funny thing tho - I was talking all night the previous night, without any issues. It wasn't till I logged in yesterday morning that I was notified of the mute. :unsure:

Thanks hun. I'll bang around with it tomorrow. It's 3:00 AM here and I really need to go to bed. I'm also waiting to see what the actual offence was prior to playing the "we don't know who you are or what you want" email game with Jagex's customer service division ... :rolleyes:

Just a scapegoat, like the majority of fired coaches are. I don't expect RC to make any significant difference. Randy Carlyle is a much better coach than Ron Wilson IMO. If Randy can't get the job done then I think Burke is next. I disagree, but whatever. I'd love to be proven wrong... There's an awful lot of issues with this Leaf team that I don't think ANY coach is going to fix. They're woefully short on quality players at this point in time. They need a solid #1 goaltender -- plus more depth in goal, and they need to do SOMETHING about their gad-awful defence. When Dion Phaneuf is your team captain and purported #1 defenceman, you've got problems. He makes the same stupid mistakes, night in and night out, he never learns from them and he's always hanging his goalie out to dry as a result of it. What mistake? It's that same stupid play he makes when he pinches at the opposing blue line to try and make that big hit, and then gets caught with his pants down, misses the hit, and it results in an odd-man rush going the other way. It's like clock-work too. You know he's going to do it - you come to expect it. The opposition does too. For whatever reason no one's been able to get him to stop doing it. That was why Calgary was so glad t be rid of him and Ron Wilson either didn't know or couldn't get him to stop it. Hopefully Carlyle can do, but I suspect he won't be able to either ... <_<

Well -- as far as I know I did not say anything that would have tripped the spam filter in "public chat". I did mention our clan's forum address in our clan chat however. Does Jagex monitor clan chats too? :unsure:

Lovely -- so I've no way of knowing what I've done and no way to appeal it until well after the mute has been lifted. :rolleyes: Gotta love Jagex's customer service ... <_<
