I go on dry runs some times, if you look at my slayer blog the only rune item i got in the tasks ive done upto kurask is 1 rune med. Got rune longsword aswell from kurasks.

I like everything apart from the orange text colour.

Im killing kurask right now everyone says they're rubbish but ive had a clue, rune long and 20k ranged exp in 20 mins.

Yea, already a bit bored, got 70 slayer this morning killed a few kurasks (got rune long, not bad considered i only had 200 arrows) then could'nt be bothered to train anymore lol.

Thats exactly what i think is going to happen, i personally wouldnt camp out at abbysals for days for less that 1.5mill. Jagex will release more slayer weapons and armour eventually though so thats why im training slayer still.

Very, very nice guide :thumbsup: . Its helped me quite a bit since 60 slayer.

Pickpoket guards until 35 (or is it 45 #-o ) and then move on to freminik citizens, took me about 8 hours altogether from lvl 31.

my goal is 85 slayer but im not really worried about the prices of whips that much as long as they remain a decent price like 1.5+ as im getting 85 slayer because its my favourite skill and getting a few whips would be nice. I think jagex are likely to release dragon boots in the near future.

1) does it matter what type?? eg. thrower/ice/mountain , for exp kill the melee trolls that are lvl 69 near the entrance to the stronghold or spectator ones near "dad", for drops kill generals or there is another one but i forgot what one and where it is. 2) can anyone tell me if i choose the higher level will i get more slayer xp? Yea you will 3) which would you suggest for good drops .. key half/dragon half/med-high herb/ med-high seeds?? I have killed about 800 spectator trolls and ive not had a rune drop or d spear (I dont think they even drop the rune items tipit lists (look at runehq monster list) and the chances of a d spear are pretty much the same for any monster), for drops go for generals.

I can understand why people call the rc pkers noobs (pkers that are'nt very good and always have to run when u pk them) , what i cant understand is why people think it is "immoral" or whatever for someone killing an rcer. You can only find it immoral if you get too involved in this game and u start to compare it to real life, because this is not real life it is a game in which the idea is to compete with other players and have fun. Also rc pkers have every right to do what theyre doing, theyre just not very good at it :) , but they dont have the grounds to call an rcer "teletub" because they escaped.

Nice-ish guide, youve posted some things twice and there are alot of spelling mistakes, helpful though to f2pers.

i was thinking about this the other day, it seems a bit stupid to have granite legs but no plate or helm. Jagex should release the plate and helm with a new 80 somthing slayer monster and give the items very high ranged defence.

Hi my rsn is chris_2_8, ive been training slayer for a while but ive had a few long breaks to get guthans and stuff. Now im training (hopefully) all the way to 85+ :pray: . I think this goal will take me a few months maybe upto december but hopefully not as long as that :) . Im mainly training to 85 simply because slayer is my favourite skill and i like it for training combat and for when im rewarded with a good drop. The main challenge i will face is that i will probably get bored. UPDATE: Ive taken a long unplanned break from slayer but now im back, however i sold my guthans to get an easter egg. They probably will have an "eastern themed area", Ak Haranu (Eastern looking guy with katana sword in port phasmytys) talks about getting back to his homeland and i think jagex are likely to include this into a quest that opens it up.
